22 - Recover

(Y/n POV)

I felt a rush of cold air against my body waking me up, squinting my eyes I look to see that the window was open. It was raining and windy outside, terrible weather.

I rub my eyes looking around to see Ryujin was nowhere in to be found. I try to sit up but the room starts to spim making me lay back down.

"Ryujin!!" I call out to see if she would reply, but nothing.

I reach for my phone that was charging on the nightstand and see if she left any messages, yet again there was nothing.

I go onto my contacts and was about to press to call her when I hear the front door open then close again. I hear footsteps get closer then the door opens, seeing my girlfriend walk in then pause making eye contact with me as she smiles.

"Oh, you're awake?" She says smiling as she heads over to me. I nod then she places a kiss on my cheek, "How are you feeling?" She asks.

I shake my head slowly, "not good, my head is pounding and the room is spinning.."

She chuckles then says, "it did seem like you drank a lot yesterday." I groan then pull her into a hug laying my head on her shoulder. She gently rubs my back then speaks, "you'll get better soon Y/n, I'll come back so I can make you some tea okay?"

I nod then she leaves my embrace walking out the room.

She soon comes back with a cup of green tea, placing the cup on the nightstand then walks over to the closet to change into something more comfortable.

Ryujin comes back and joins me under the covers as I instantly rest my head on her shoulder.

"Don't you have to go work today?" I ask her slowly.

She shakes her head then says, "I don't right now, our practice starts a bit later today so you have me for a few more hours."

I sigh then she turns on the tv going to netflix looking for something to watch, "are you gonna go work today?" She says looking at me.

"Yeah, I need to do quite a lot of work." I reply.

"Y/n darling, you need to rest until you're better." She says pressing a movie she found as we both stare at the movie beginning.

"But it's just a hangover.."

"I know baby, but your symptoms when you have a hangover are really bad." She looks at me worriedly.

"I'll be fine Ryujin, don't worry." As I peck her lips then turn our attention back to the movie.

After the a few movies end I get up and head towards the closet picking out clothes for work when I feel arms around my waist. "Baby, you can't go." I hear her say.

"But I have stuff to do.." I reply picking out a grey suit to wear along with a black tie.

"Just work from home, I don't want you passing out when I'm not there." She says tightening her grip on me.

"Ryujin, I said it before I'll be fine and I won't pas-"

"Y/n. Just stay. Please." She turns me around, "If you stay here, I won't go. The girls will understand and cover for me, they care about you so much."

I sigh giving up, not wanting to anger her I put back the clothes and she pulls me back into the warmth of the blankets continuing our movie marathon.

"What do you want for lunch?" She turns to me with a smile on her face. I hum, thinking what we could possibly have for lunch. "How about I cook you a little something?" She says making my eyes light up instantly. Ryujin is an amazing cook and she never disappoints me.

"I take that as a yes then?" Ryujin says holding my hands.

"Yes please baby," I smile at her and she kisses my lips feeling her hand gently hold jaw pulling me closer as I sit on her lap looping my arms around her neck deepening the kiss.

I feel her smile then gently bite my lips before pulling away. "As much I would love to kiss you all day, I'm hungry and I bet you are aswell, so I'm gonna make us food."

I nod and get off her lap then she gets up walks to the door then turns around, "stay right there my love." She smiles and winks at me.

About half an hour passes by and I can smell the aroma of my favourite food being cooked. I then see the door open revealing Ryujin with two platefuls of food.

She puts the plates on the desk and gets another chair so there are two. She pats the seat next to her and I join her.

It wasn't long before we both finished the food was completely gone, she quickly tidyed up the plates and returned back to my side.

"How are you feeling now? Any better?" Ryujin turned to me.

I layed my head on her shoulder and replied slowly, "better now that you're with me."

She chuckled and gently rubbed my arm, "well that's good to know." We turned our attention to Ryujins phone ringing all of a sudden.

She gently pushed me away and grabbed her phone and looked at the caller. I couldn't see who it was but she seemed annoyed. Ryujin rolled her eyes then put the phone screen down.

"Who was that?" I asked looking at her.

She raised an eyebrow then replied, "an old friend, they've been bothering me recently and it's really annoying."

"Ahh, must be a pain.."

She nods then pulls me back closer as we talk with music playing in the background.

(Next day)
(Ryujin POV)

We got off practice early so I head to the ITZY dorms as Y/n's at work. I take out my phone only to see more missed calls from my old friend. I have no idea why she is still bothering me, I ended the friendship years ago yet she still wants me back.

"Unnie why do you have so many missed calls, aren't they important?" Yuna says.

I shake my head in response, "no not important at all.. Do you remember my friend?"

"Unnie, you need to be more specific.."

"Minhee, Lee Minhee. Do you remember her?"

"Ahh~ her? Why is she calling you still, didn't you guys fight or something? Also does Y/n know about her?"

I shake my head, "no she doesn't also I have no idea why she's calling me now. It's only recently that she decided to contact me."

"That's weird." Yuna says and I nod in agreement.

"Very weird.."
