40 - Interview

(A Few Months Later, Ryujins POV)

We were preparing for the interview we had for today, this was one of the several interviews that we had throughout the week.

Our group as been asked for interviews about our career and about my dating news with Y/n.

I sit in the chair as my makeup artist finishes some touches on my face.

"Ryujin-ah, I haven't heard from you and Y/n in a bit. Are you guys okay?" I hear our leader say.

"Oh yeah, we're fine, it's just that we've been so busy with work so we barely see eachother." I reply slowly.

"Ahh, okay makes sense." She replies.

"We should invite Y/n unnie over soon." Yuna says brightly.

"That's right, we haven't got together in a while." Lia unnie says.

I sigh, "I'll ask her today what her schedule is like, Y/n's apparently overwhelmed with photoshoots, interviews and stuff."

We hear a knock on the door followed by a voice, "girls you're interview starts in five."

We nod and my stylist finishes with my makeup, I thank her and join the members as they walk out the dressing room.

We wait behind some curtains before we hear our cue in order for us to walk out.

"..So let's meet the Itzy girls!" The mc says as we all walk out amd sit in our seats.

As I sit down, I notice a small crowd of fans that were invited to watch this interview take place as they cheer quite loudly.

The noise slowly dies down as the mc starts to speak, "right, let's get straight into it. As you can see there are fans infront watching so why don't you introduce yourselves to start off."

"All in us hello we are Itzy!" We all say at the same time.

"Hi I'm Yeji, leader of Itzy." Yeji unnie says as we continue to introduce ourselves one by one.

"Amazing, so Itzy members everyone." The mc pauses, "so I'll ask a few questions from the fans to each of the members for you to answer, let's begin with the leader, Yeji!"

The crowd cheers for a bit then the mc speaks again, "Yeji-ssi, as you are the leader of Itzy, how does it feel to have a large responsibilty like this?"

Yeji unnie hums as she thinks of answer then speaks, "to be honest, I feel like the girls aren't a lot to handle, sometimes they can be." She laughs slightly, "but other times, we work well as a team and it's like we're a family." She smiles.

"I see I see, so then.. Who would you say is the most to difficult to handle at times?" The mc asks.

Yeji unnie scoffs, "I think it would be between Yuna or Ryujin, because they can get really hyper sometimes and together they're just chaos so yeah.." Yeji unnie jokes.

Yuna looks at our leader in disbelief, "oh Yuna-ssi, it seems like you don't agree with Yeji?"

The girls laugh as Yuna shakes her head, "it's not that, well.. I don't think I'm that bad, right unnie?" She turns to me.

"W-why are you looking at me?" I laugh, "Yeji unnie said you were too much not me!"

"Ah right," Yuna then turns to Yeji, "I'm not that bad right unnie?"

Yeji sighes, "the other day you were play fighting with Ryujin and it took me so long to separate you two, you guys were making so much noise."

"That was only that one time unnie~" Yuna smiles brightly.

We all laugh at Yunas cuteness then the mc speaks, "right.." They pause to stop giggling, "next question shall we?"

We all nod and the mc speaks, "ah.. This question is coming up a lot so let's answer it shall we?" They pause, "Ryujin-ssi, fans in the comments here are asking about you're relationship with Y/n. If you don't mind, would you like to share with us about your relationship?"

"Oh right, no it's okay I'll answer it.." I reply. "So, is there anything specific I need to answer?" I look towards the mc.

"Let's start with the first basic question, how did you guys meet?" They smile at me.

"Ah.. I actually-- Y/n is Yunas bestfriend so I met Y/n through Yuna." I pause to think, "the first time I met Y/n was when she dropped off Yuna at the company and yeah.."

"Ooh so love at first sight I see~" the mc jokes making the girls laugh.

"Ryujin unnie was head over heels for Y/n when they met again." Yuna teases me.

"Is that so Ryujin?"

"I- I wouldn't say that... Maybe, nevermind Yuna's right." I sigh.

"Wah.. So Ryujin was the first to fall in love Y/n, we should do an interview next time with just the two of you to clarify things." The mc smiles.

I laugh slightly, "that would be nice I hope it can happen." I smile as the members nudge me teasing me as they do so.

The mc continues to ask a few more questions about my relationship with Y/n and the Itzy girls but we soon finish after a few minutes.

(Author POV)

The girls all get into their managers car as he drives them back to the dorms.

Yeji opens the door as the others follow behind.

After an exhausting day, spending half the day practicing and the other half at an interview the girls are out of energy.

Basically collapsing on the couch Yuna, Chaeryeong and Ryujin sit watching tv as Lia and Yeji are in their rooms relaxing.

The three girls in the living room attention is brought by a ringtone, coming from Yunas phone.

Yuna slowly moves over to pick up her phone and answers it, "hello?"

"Yuna, where are you right now?" Yuna hears a voice across the phone.

She's confused at first as she didn't check who was calling, "wait who is thi--" she moves her phone to check who it is to see Y/ns name on her screen. "Oh unnie!"

Y/n laughs from across the phone, "yah, what's wrong with you?"

Yuna laughs as she replies, "I didn't see who was calling, I was just so tired from our schedule today.."

"Ahh okay, then just something quick, don't tell Ryujin okay?" Y/n says hesitantly as Yuna hums. "I've got permission from Jyp already, he says that I can do a live with you and the girls, so I'm planning on doing it maybe tomorrow if you guys have time."

Yunas eyes widen, "really? He really said yes?"

"Yes Yuna.. He did say yes." Y/n laughs.

"He also said he wants to prepare a few things between me and you guys so, I guess you can look forward to that." Y/n says.

"Unnie, you're so cool." Yuna squeels, "I can't wait! Also we are free in the evening tomorrow so we can do it then." Yuna smiles brightly.

"Okay okay, I'll go now, I've got one more shoot. See you tomorrow." Y/n says.

"Okay unnie byee!!" Yuna says smiling before hanging up.

The two other girls turn towards Yuna looking at her confused.

"Were you talking to my girlfriend?" Ryujin asks.

"ah.. It's a secret." Yuna smiles awkwardly.

Ryujin rolls her eyes playfully, "not you stealing my girlfriend once again." She says making Chaeryeong laugh.

"Unnie!"

"Yuna!!" Ryujin copies Yunas tone before walking off to her room as Yuna pouts.
