10 - Stay For A While

(Y/n POV)

"I'm still tired.." She says as I smile softly then say "I should leave and let you be then." I start to get up until I feel her tug on my shirt.

"No.. Stay for a bit Y/n..."

I turn to her and she moves to grab my arm pulling me back down, she looks at me in the eyes then moves to hug me resting her head on my shoulder as I hear her say, "Just for a while, I like it when you're here." I rub her back gently then say, "Ryujin-ah, it's getting late and I--"

"Please Y/n.. Just for a few minutes."
She removes her head from my shoulder and looks at me, pouting slightly, "So.. Will you stay?" Looking at me with hope, I have no other choice, "Fine, only for a bit though."

She smiles again showing her cute whisker dimples, as she intertwines her hands with mine and lays her head on my lap again."Thank you
Y/n.." I feel her body relax as her weight rests against my body.

15 minutes had passed, I look out Ryujins window and it started to get dark, the sun was already setting. Ryujins door slowly opened revealing light and Yeji unnie as she looked towards me and Ryujin sleeping on my lap, she smiled then said, "Y/n, when are you gonna leave. It's getting dark." I nod trying my best not to move as I reply, "It's fine, I'm driving anyway, I'll be safe."

She nods then says, "looks like Ryujin won't let you go.." I chuckle quietly "Yeah, I tried to leave earlier but she asked me to stay longer, so I did..." Yeji smiled then said, "No problem, just tell us when you do leave." I give her a thumbs up then she closes the door behind her.

I feel Ryujin start to move again on my lap, she slowly gets up brushing her hair back. I look at her then say quietly, "Hey Ryujin.." She blinks her eyes and rubs them then looks at me, "You're still here?" I nod then she moves to cover herself with the blanket and I reply, "Yeah.. You asked me to." She smiles then says, "I know.. But I thought you left already."

I scoff then say, "If you like it when I'm here, why wouldn't I stay?" She furrows her eyebrows then says confused, "I-I said that?" I smile then nod "Yes, yes you did Ryujin.." She quickly covers her face with her hands as I hear her mumble, 'oh my god.. how embarrassing.'

I laugh then say, "It was cute, I never knew you could be so affectionate Ryujin." I remove her hands from her face then say, "Hey, if it makes you feel better I'll act like I never heard anything.." She nods slowly then starts to smile.

I let go of her hands then get up, "Now.. I really need to go," I look at the window seeing it was basically pitch dark outside. I hear Ryujin say "When will I see you again?" I turn to her then ask, "Why?"

"Because, I really did mean it when I said I like you being here.." She admits, I laugh then reply, "If you really want to see me more, you can call me and I'll sort something out." She nods then gets up from her bed, I feel her arms wrap around my waist and her head leaning against my back, "Seriously Y/n, I really do like it when you're here with me, you make me feel safe and comfortable."

I slowly remove her arms from me then turn to look at her, "You're adorable, now I actually have to go. You've held me back for so long.." She laughs then says "I know, but it was so worth it."

We both exit the room, the girls turn towards us then Yuna says, "Ryujin unnie! You were keeping Y/n unnie to yourself.." Ryujin smiles and glances at me then says, "Sorry not sorry Yuna," she teased.

I went over to put on my shoes and get my helmet as the girls gathered where I was then Yeji unnie said, "See you Y/n!" The other members said their goodbyes and wished me to get home safely. I looked at Ryujin and she smiled then said, "I'll walk her down.." Yuna whined and complained "Ahh, Unnie~ she's not your girlfriend or anything, I wanted to walk her down.."

Ryujin put on her sliders and stuck her tongue out at Yuna as she said "Haha, you lose, I win~" the other girls laugh then Yeji says "Come on Yuna, let them have their time." Yuna pouted then said "Are they together already?" The other brought Yuna away as Ryujin and I walked out the door hearing Yeji laugh, "Who know Yuna, ask Ryujin when she comes back."

Ryujin closes the door then links her arm with mine as she asks, "Y/n? Have you ever been in a relationship?" I shake my head then reply, "Not really, I had one with a guy before but it didn't last very long." She nodded then said, "Would you ever want another?" She says as we enter the elevator and the doors close.

"I really don't know, maybe if the person I'm with makes me happy enough then I will." I look at her and she smiles, then we walk out I stop by the exit and stand in front of her.

She looks up at me slightly then says, "Alright then.. See you whenever I guess." I nod then she moves to bring me into her embrace, I hug her back then soon let go. I open the door and she waves goodbye to me, I put on my helmet and wave back at her, she really doesn't want to leave me.

I know that she's fallen for me already but I can't let it happen again. When I'm with someone, I hold onto them and will never let go, I'm protective over them, sometimes I want to be alone but not feel lonely.

Feeling lonely is a terrible feeling. i can't make her feel hurt like how I was, I could never let her feel the same pain as I did. I know I make her happy and she does aswell, but I refuse to make her cry, I would hate to see her fall apart. I'm selfish and I hurt myself because I couldn't fix it

Please don't fall for me Ryujin, you mean so much to me.
