39 - Ignoring You

(Y/n POV)

"Sorry baby, you were just so adorable with the way you reacted, forgive me please.."

I ignore her as my full attention is on the tv screen.

She holds my hand softly intertwining our fingers together but I pull away from her touch.

Ryujin instantly lifts her head and turns to look at me. I spot her staring right at me with her warm brown eyes.

"Baby, what was that for?" I hear her say with a pout on her face.

I ignore her and don't reply, let's see how long she'll last with me ignoring her for the day. I know it's a mean prank, but it compensates for the amount of teasing I've been through today and for the past few days.

I carry on watching the movie and move to lay my head on Seulgi unnie's shoulder next to me.

I glance over to Ryujin and she has a pout on her lips as she scrolls through her phone.

After a few movies end I get up to get some water in the kitchen.

As I pour myself a glass of water, I hear the door shut behind me. I turn around to see my girlfriend walking towards me.

"Y/n." She pauses, stopping in front of me, "why are you ignoring me today? Did I go too far? Did I do something wrong?" Ryujin looks at me.

I continue to drink my water and take my phone out from my pocket and start to look at my instagram.

"Y/n, I know you can hear me." She says sternly.

I look up at her once I finish drinking my water, then turn around to put the cup away and walk out the kitchen without saying a word to her.

"Ah Y/n!" She says loudly.

I turn around about to reply to her before I hear my sister call me over. I give Ryujin a teasing look before I walk to my sister.

"Unnie why'd you call?" I lean on the couch behind her.

She turns around to face me, "Yerim wanted to know if you were going to cook or order food. She said she's getting hungry."

"Uhm.. I can cook if you guys want? It might take a few minutes though." I reply.

"Can my dear Y/n cook for us please~" I hear Yeri unnie say trying to be cute.

"Unnie, you just have to ask, you don't have to do that." I joke as the girls start to laugh.

"I'll make some food, it'll be done in about 45 minutes?" I say as I tie up my hair in a bun.

"Okay thank you Y/n.." Yeri unnie smiles brightly as I walk back into the kitchen preparing to cook some steak and fries for the girls.

I get out the ingredients for me to start cooking the steak. As I turn on the stove I hear footsteps behind me, followed by a voice.

"Y/n.."

I hear Ryujins voice behind me as she closes the door, "baby why won't you speak to me, just atleast tell me what I did wrong."

I pretend I don't hear her and continue cooking, putting the beef onto the pan and preparing the fries.

I feel her wrap her arms around my waist as she gently places a kiss on my cheek.

"Fine, I'll be in our room then.." She says slowly, "I'll give you some space, I feel like you might need it." Ryujin says before leaving the kitchen.

I quickly finish off cooking the food for the girls, the 5 plates in my hands balancing them as I walk out the kitchen putting them on the table.

"Unnies, the food is ready." I say as they stand up and walk over to sit at the table.

"Where's your girlfriend?" Yeri unnie asks.

"In my room, just give me a second." I say as I untie my hair and head towards the bedroom slowly opening the door.

I see Ryujin sitting on the bed with the lights off with her phone light shining into her face.

I slowly join her on the bed gently pulling her phone out her hand.

"What are you doi--" she asks before I cut her off as I push her back onto the mattress on the bed pressing my lips against hers.

She tries to push me away but I pin her hands down and kiss her slowly.

Ryujin finally kisses me back ever so hesitantly.

I move away from her lips as I make eye contact with her, although it's dark I can tell she's looking at me.

"Why did you-- I thought you were mad at me?" She furrows her eye brows at me.

I move to turn on the bedside lamp so I can see her better as I return back hovering over her.

I didn't say a word I just stared into her eyes.

"Y/n? My love?" She looks up at me.

I softly press my lips against her once more and this time she instantly returns the kiss.

Ryujin pushes me away for a second and she sits up as I move facing her on her lap.

"Will you answer me now? It's about 7:30 and you haven't said anything since the girls arrived." She stares at me.

"I love you." I say simply making her smile brightly with her dimples showing.

"So you're not mad at me?" She furrows her eyebrows.

"No my love, I just wanted to see what would happen if I ignored you for the day, I promise I still love you." I reply.

"Is this what I get for teasing you too much?" Ryujin looks at me.

I chuckle, "maybe.. Who knows, now come on the girls are waiting for us." I say as I gently take her hand after turning off the light and heading out the bedroom.

"What took you both so long?" Sooyoung unnie said as they all turned their heads to us.

I looked at my girlfriend and she scoffed, "you see.. Y/n here was ignoring me for the whole day, so she somewhat apologised." Ryujin said pulling you to sit on the couch with her.

"Ahh I see.. So you guys made out?" Sooyoung unnie replied bluntly with a smirk on her face.

"Yah, what's wrong with you?" Irene unnie said.

The girls laughed as Sooyoung unnie spoke, "I'm just saying.. What else would they be doing if they were in there for that long hm?"

"Talking, like the adults they are?" My sister replied.

"Whatever you believe unnie, but you should know how much Y/n is in love with Ryujin." Sooyoung unnie smiles, "isn't that right you lovebirds?"

I laugh slightly embarrassed although it is true, I move to cuddle Ryujin instead she pulls me to sit on her lap.

"See? Just look at them." Sooyoung unnie laughs as the other girls start to giggle.

It's nearly midnight and the girls had just left to go back home.

We enjoyed talking for a few hours, watching movies and what not.

After I clean up the mess on the table I go to the bedroom to see my girlfriend sitting on the bed as she stares into space.

I quietly join her sitting next to Ryujin and intertwine our hands.

"Are you okay?" I turn to her.

She looks at me and nods while she smiles, "I am now the you're talking to me again."

I chuckle and peck her lips, "it won't happen again. Only this once, I promise." I hold out my pinky finger.

She nods her head slowly, "you promised so don't break it." She says as she locks our finger together.

"I would never, now let's get some sleep shall we?" I smile.
