Aika's POV
"What?! Sa kanila ka natulog?" Tanong ni Almira.
"Oo naman! I did it because I want him everynight."
"You said you're going to have an ordinary husband. But not at the same time to live an ordinary place! How did you do that?"
"I did not remember what kind of place was. All I remember is the situation of being in love. Love can do anything. Wala akong nararamdamang iba basta kasama ko si Vincent."
"Kung sabagay. All I experienced was a heart broke as you experience before. I didn't undergo that kind. But then, naranasan kong magmahal. Sabi ko nga diba? Walang pumipigil sakin."
"Kinakabahan na ako eh. Akala ko simple lang. Hindi pala. Hindi lang sama ng loob ang nararamdaman ko, nararamdaman ko din ang pagmamahal ko kay Vincent. Ang hirap pagsabayin."
"I think you didn't know at the first place what's the result of that idea you had. I cannot blame you but you didn't have to think twice. I didn't advice it to you because back then, you are unruly. All I could do is to wait what the result of what you could've done. And that's it."
We were here on my office. We were talking about Vincent. Syempre nagalit si Daddy nung hindi ako umuwi kagabi. If mag-aaway uli kami. Hahamunin ko siyang aalis na ako sa trabaho. I can't leave Vincent.
"Pero, kahit hindi ko alam na ganito pala ako kabilis mai-in love, I don't even know na mahirap pala, ito naman talaga ang inaasahan kong mangyari diba? Ang magalit sila dahil umibig ako sa mahirap? Noon, bawal pa akong magmahal. Binayaran nila si Kirk para hiwalayan ako. Wala akong nagawa. Hindi daw kasi si Kirk ang nararapat sakin. Lagi nalang bang ganun? Eh ayokong magpakasal sa taong gusto lang nila. Gusto ko, ako ang pipili. Pa'no kung everytime na ma-in love ako, ayaw nila?"
"Because they care about your status. They prefer to be a perfect cause your Family is one of the riches here in the Philipines. You aren't an ordinary girl who can pick your own choices. Your Family will do it for you. I comprehend that your Family's royalty is there so, you should have to understand at all."
"All I want is happiness."
"You can find it if you follow them. But I think it's too late, you are already in love."
Tumawag bigla si Daddy.
"Hello Dad."
"I'm going to talk to you later in the house. Ginagalit mo talaga ako. After lunch, we're going to talk. I will be in the house and you need to come. Understood?!"
He ended the call.
"Akala niya natatakot ako!"
"Daddy mo?" Tanong ni Aika.
"Oo!"
"Hindi ka nila titigilan."
"I knew it."
"What if at this time, hindi mo pa kilala si Vincent?"
"Boring."
"Siya ba talaga ang target mo nung naghahanap ka sa MRT?"
"Siya ang nagustuhan ko eh. Sa dinami dami ng tao na nakapila, siya ang nagustuhan ko. I have so many options para magustuhan niya ako at that time."
"Ganun?"
"Oo, buti na nga lang at nakuha ko ang number niya. Parang hindi agad ako nahirapan."
"So, what are the other options?"
"I'll talk to him again in again. If ever naman na suplado siya, siguro makukuha ko ang atensyon niya. Alam mo ba Almira, pinagtapat na niya sakin na mayaman talaga ang hanap niya. Pinagtapat ko na rin na 'yung katulad niya ang hanap ko. Tignan mo, pinagtagpo talaga kami ng tadhana kaya ang hirap isuko eh."
