Rose:

On the couch in the living room I sat down besides Jace and started to twirl my ring. He glanced over at me, “Why are you so nervous?” “Something Hook said.” I replied as I looked over at him.

I really wanted to tell this to Nathan and ot Jace but I had to get it off of my chest, so I sighed. “So apparently he was possesed...and I’m wondering if what he said was because of the demon or if it was really true.”

        Now that got his attention.

Jace looked at me and Peter plopped down beside me, “Speak words, I really need something to take my mind off of the whole ‘Sam-and-Dean’ thing.”

Great. Now I had to say it to two guys who I barely knew.

“So while I was tied up he said that Tink wasn’t his only daughter.” I started and Peter’s eyes widened. “He has two kids?! Why didn’t you tell us before, she may need help-” “She’s not on the ship!” I exclaimed glaring at him.

Silence consumed us before I stared at the ground. “He said that I was his other daughter…” Jace looked at me, “Are you sure?” “Of course I’m sure.” I retorted coldly and Peter sighed. “I’m not sure, it could’ve been either.” Jace nodded, “We won’t know now,” then he seemed to get an idea, a “light bulb-appear-over-your-head” idea. “You can go and talk with the demon while it can’t do anything. Sam and Dean will be there, so it’s not like you’ll be in mortal danger.”

That was better than anything anyone else could come up with so I stood up. “You guys wait here.” I said as I set off for where Tink was.

It seemed that Sam and Dean had just started and Tink no longer had a Tink vibe to herself. Her eyes were black and she was struggling against the restraints. Then Tink, or the demon glanced over and saw me. “It seems as though you two have an audience.” It sneered to the brothers.

Dean looked at me confused, “Why are you in here?” I crossed my arms, “I have some questions.” Sam looked like he wanted to protest but Dean shook his head, “No Sammy, let the girl question the demon.”

They stepped back and I saw Logan tensing up.

Demon Tink grinned, “So the demigod comes to ask questions of a demon. Who would’ve guessed this day would come?” I frowned at her (assuming that the demon was a girl of course. Ugh why do things from hell have to be so complicated?!) “Was that you who told me that Tink was my sister?”

She laughed, “Even if it was, why do you want to know. Why do you think she’d even want a sister? You more specifically? You’re a naive little girl who has issues with her parents ‘cause they never claimed you. Oh boo hoo, cry me a river kid. Being an orphan is better than what most kids get. You want to know what Tink thinks of you? You’re a pathetic girl she now has to babysit, don’t think just because she came after you when you were kidnapped doesn’t mean she cared about you. You’re so worried about yourself, what makes you think that she even cares anymore?”

Tears stung my eyes, I couldn’t tell if this demon was just pushing my buttons or if she was actually telling the truth. Either way, she was right. Everything she said. Before leaving I simply said, “Shut  up.” Pathetic, yeah, I know. She was right.

I walked out of the room before they could see the tears falling, and as I passed Jace and Peter I ran. I didn’t like to know that anybody saw me crying.

My stuff was in Tink’s room and that was exactly where I was headed. Nathan was sound asleep on the desk so I didn’t have to worry about waking him up. He could sleep through a freight train bustling by at full speed. I grabbed my stuff, threw it in a bag and walked out the back door.

Almost as soon as I left Dean came out after me. “Where you going kid?” “I’m out of here, and stop calling me ‘girl’ and ‘kid’.” I replied, not turning and he walked beside me. “Sorry kid, but no can do. But why are you leaving?” “That demon was right.” I said in defeat, as I threw my hands out in exasperation. Dean laughed, “That’s bullshit.” “How do you know?” I asked as I slung the bag over my shoulder and he crossed his arms. “Because I know Tink and she chooses her friends well. Anyone who’s a friend of hers couldn’t be any one of those things that the demon mentioned.” he said and I sighed. “Look, that thing was right. I do have family issues, she has practically had to babysit me, and look where it got her when she saved me. She got freaking possessed by a demon!” “That could’ve happened to anybody. Stop beating yourself up over it.” he said looking at me as if he understood. “It’s not that easy.”

“I know, because everytime Sam gets hurt regardless of where I am, I feel the exact same as how you’re feeling now.”

Maybe he did understand how I felt. “Did you get that thing out of her?” I asked and he nodded, “Sammy just finished, she should be alright but we’ll stay in the area just in case.” he handed me a card, “Call us if things get bad.” With that he headed back in the house. I wanted to mention that using a phone was like sending up a flare to all the monsters in the area that said, “FREE LUNCH COME AND GET TASTY PEOPLE!!!”

I headed back inside shortly after and set my stuff down, Tink was knocked out in the chair but Sam was currently untying her. I sighed and Logan walked over, “You okay?” “I guess, I’m just tired.” I replied taking one last look at Tink before returning to the couch where I sat down and as I was drifting off and on trying to stay awake and Jace whispered to me, “You can go to sleep. You’ve had a long day, and Logan told me what happened in there. Don’t worry, Tink would never say those things…” he may have continued but I fell asleep and lied my head on his shoulder before I could stop myself.
