Tink:

"So get this, Delilah has abilities," Peter says, pacing our living room with a file in his hand. "What kind?" I ask, resting my head on my hand. "She should be in the institute, working very closely with Dr. Xavier," Peter says, waving his hand in the air and making my hair tie fly half way across the room. "Thanks," I mutter. "Yeah, I know you get pony tail ache after three hours," he shrugs. I smile and take another sip of the ultra hot apple cider. "Are you sure that's where she should be?" I ask, closing my eyes and trying to not fall asleep. "Yeah. We can get her enrolled tomorrow, stay with her until she makes some friends," Peter says.

I nod and then Jean comes out of the kids room. "Tink, the kids just like grew a lot. They are like year olds now, I don't know what happened," she says, looking panicky. "Yeah, side effect of the spell Wendy used. Now they are going to grow at a normal rate. Don't worry about it. I looked it up," Peter says. I am already half way down the hall way but and when I get into the kids room, Nathan and Sammie are sitting up, looking at each other. "Hi babies, it's mommy now," I say, picking up Nathan and then Sam, walking out with one on each hip.

I start singing as I walk down the hall, trying to get them to go back to sleep and as I come into the living room, Peter drops the file he was holding just to stare at us. "Well look at you," Peter chuckles. "Oh Peter, you're drooling. Logan waited up for me so I got to go. I love you guys, bye," Jean says, putting her jacket on. "Say bye grandma," I tell the kids, facing her and mouthing bye as the kids babble to each other. "Mommy, I'm hungry," Delilah says, pulling on Peter's sweater from the Academy that I am wearing. "Okay baby, let's get you something to eat and then we can go to bed," I say, going into the kitchen.

I toe open the pantry and point to the apples. "You want an apple?" I ask. Lilah nods and grabs one. "Okay, step stool is right there, we have to wash it off before we eat it," I say. She washes off  her apple and sits beside Peter on the couch while she snacks. "You've got school in the morning you should get some rest in a bit," Peter says. "I will, can I have my own room please?" She asks, leaning on his shoulder. He snaps his fingers and a new door pops up in the hall. "There, I'm sure you'll like it, but if not we can change it," Peter says, putting an arm around her. I put the kids back into their beds and then go join Peter and Lilah on the couch. Lilah throws away her apple core and then sits back down with Peter.

"Okay honey, time for bed," I say, picking her up. I carry her to her room and she gasps. It's all pastels, the walls are light blue and the canopy bed is a mix of really light blue and green. Her carpet is white and her furniture a chalky pink. "I love it Daddy!" She exclaims, her eyes the size of moons. "Mommy will you tell me a story?" She asks, climbing into her bed. "Don't you want to put on some pajamas first?" Peter asks, pulling out a night gown from the top drawer of her dresser. "Okay, okay, could you please go away?" She asks. He laughs and hugs me from behind. "I'll wait up," he laughs, leaving the room.

"Mama I don't like dresses. Do I have to wear it?" She asks. I shake my head. "No, you don't have to wear it. What would you like to wear?" I ask, turning on the night light and turning off the over head light. "Can I wear a sweater like you?" She asks and I smile. "Yeah, I've got the perfect one," I say, going into my room. I grab Peter's Yankees sweater and come back into Lilah's room. When she puts it on she is practically swimming in it. "Comfy?" I ask as she crawls under her covers. She nods while yawning and I smile at her. I tell her the story of a girl named and Wendy and a boy named Peter.

"I swear, I will punch you if you try anything tonight. I am extremely tired and want to sleep," I say, crawling right up beside Peter and laying next to him. He pulls a blanket over me and tells me he loves me before falling asleep behind me. Most nights I would tell him I love him too but I didn't have the energy to move.

I wake up in the middle of the night with a feeling something is very wrong. "Peter, baby, wake up. I have this really bad feeling," I tell him, shaking his shoulder. "Alright babe. I'm sure it's nothing. I'll go check on the kids. You call Jace," he says, throwing the blankets back. I go into the kitchen and pick up the phone. "All the kids are asleep," Peter says, hugging me from behind. "Come on Jace, pick up. Pick up pick up," I chant at the phone, tapping my foot. "Hey this is Jace Lightwood, I'll call when I get the chance. Leave me a message, thanks," the voicemail says. I call again and nothing. "Peter, he isn't picking up," I say, freaking out slightly. "That's cause it's three thirty in the morning Tink. I'm sure all is well," Peter says.

I feel the sudden urge to kiss Peter and not stop. Then it hits me. "Oh my god, he's with Rose," I groan. "What gives you that idea?" Peter asks, giving me a half smile. I squeeze my eyes shut. "No, do not look at me like that," I laugh. "I will be back, I just need to check on them," I explain, kissing his cheek and magic poofing out.

I appear in Rose's room and I hear her laugh in the dark. "Knock knock," I say, hitting the light switch. Sure enough, Jace is with her and her hair is a mess. His hair is a disaster and honestly I want to take a minute and laugh. "Oh I am either going to call dad to give you the talk or I can," I say. "Nothing was happening!" She exclaims, frantically trying to untangle herself from Jace. "Honey, that wasn't nothing. It's three thirty in the morning. Jace, go to bed. In your own bed," I clarify, stepping away from the door.
