Tink:

"Nice poker face earlier," I comment, drawing lazy circles on Peter's biceps. "What?" He asks, twirling my hair. "When Jace asked if we were alright. You immediately acted like everything was fine," I clarify. "Tink, I've had a lot of practice," Peter says, holding me tighter. "You shouldn't have had practice pretending to be okay at all," I say, feeling bad that I hadn't noticed before. "I don't pretend when I'm around you, I can see exactly what you are thinking. I don't have to pretend for you, I know that," he sighs. "You look exhausted," I comment. "Naw dip Sherlock," He mutters, kissing my forehead and pulling the covers tightly around himself. "Endless supply of hugs and he chooses the blankets," I grumble. "Blankets are warmer than you are," he grumbles back. "Yeah well now I am freezing," I tell him.

"I feel disgusting," I sniffle, sitting at the breakfast table the next morning. "I'm sorry," Peter sighs, handing me some hot tea and kissing my cheek. "It's your fault," I say, putting my head down. "Mom I'm going to school. Alec is waiting for me. He needed to train some one and Jace is staying home today so I don't have a trainer," Delilah says, holding a duffel bag and wearing her Shadowhunter gear. "Alright baby," I say with a wave. "Hello Tinkerbell!" Alec yells up the stairs. "Hello Al-" and cue the coughing fit. "Bye Alec," Peter calls. "Bye!" He calls back.

"Honey, can you bring me a blanket?" I ask, feeling so extremely cold. "I'm sorry. Come here," Peter sighs, picking me up and moving me to the couch where he curls around me. "I don't want to make you sick," I groan, pushing him away from me. "No way, come here, let me hold my sick wife," Peter laughs, holding me tighter. I relax a bit with the heat of Peter surrounding me. "Alright bud I'm going to go hang out with Sarah downstairs, I'll be back later," Trevor says, putting some shoes on before going downstairs into the book store.

"Alright guys, work together to get some cereal. Mommy is sick so we are going to have a quiet movie day. Harry Potter marathon," Peter says when Samantha and Nathan wake up. "Okay," they say quietly, already playing along. "How's uncle Jace?" Sammie asks. "I don't know, he probably feels like crap too," Peter sighs, feeling my forehead. "You are burning up," he mutters. "Impossible, I'm so cold," I say, rolling over against Peter's chest. "I'll get mommy a blanket," Nathan volunteers. "We are raising wonderful little people," Peter chuckles as Nathan brings me the big blanket off our bed.

I fall asleep several times through out the movie. "Hey Rose," I mutter when I hear her softly singing in the kitchen. "Hey Tinkerbell. How are you feeling?" She asks. "Awful, how's your hubby?" I ask and she rolls her eyes. "He is sleeping at home, healing away from Matthew who is with Trevor and the other kids downstairs right now," she says, unpausing the movie. "Is that soup?" I ask. "Yeah, canned sorry," she says, looking down at her hands. "Don't be, canned is great. It heats up faster," I say, snuggling closer with Peter.

"Remind me to talk with Trevor later about his advancements with my sister," he mutters. I laugh a little but nod anyway. "As soon as I'm better I can help you use that," I tell Rose, gesturing to her bracelet with the magic core. Aka, the thing I don't have any more because I threw it at my mother. "Yeah thanks," she says. I nod and fall asleep yet again.
