Rose:

Peter didn’t seem too upset about the thing about Tink not really getting him a present which was a relief.

“Okay, who’s up for cheesy Christmas movies?” I asked, standing up and slipping on the bracelet. “Me!” screamed the kids and I laughed, “Alright, everyone okay with that?” I asked and Trevor shrugged, “I’m up for it.” “Awesome, off we go.” I said as we headed off to the movies.

We kinda started doing this, basically every Christmas we’d try and go out to the movie and watch the cheesiest, and most cliched Christmas themed movie there was in the theaters.

Matthew was skipping in the snow and would fall into the biggest piles that we’d pass.

“We just helped you up!” Nathan groaned as he picked matthew up again, and Matthew giggled innocently. “Sorry.” Samantha laughed and went to go talk to Delilah.

I still couldn’t believe how quick Matthew had grown. “Our little boy’s growing up.” Jace said, like he read my mind and I nodded, laying my head on his shoulder as we walked. He held my hand and gently squeezed it. “That he is.” I agreed, sighing but smiling.

“Dad!” Matthew said, walking over to Jace and holding up his hands and Jace laughed, “You want to be on my shoulders?” “Yeah!” Matthew exclaimed laughing. “Alright Mat, up you go.” ace said lifting Matthew up easily and setting him on his shoulders.

Nathan pouted, “No fair.” Then he ran over to Peter, “Dad can you pick me up?” he asked and Peter laughed, “You get much bigger and I may not be able to.” then he easily picked up Nathan too and hauled him up onto his shoulders as well.

Tink and I exchanged glances and laughed.

Trevor walked over, “So are you a stay at home mom?” “No, though I try my best to be around as much as possible.” I replied shrugging and looked at him. He nodded, “So what do you work as?” “I teach sword fighting at the Academy.” I said smiling, and I looked at my emerald ring. He crossed his arms, “You teach sword fighting?” I raised an eyebrow, “Yeah. And none of that pansey fencing.” He laughed, “Alright Rose.” Jace laughed and whispered over at Trevor across me, “A word to the wise, don’t piss her off. She always has a sword on her.”

Finally, we got to the movies and decided to actually go with a classic, Charlie Brown.

“Didn’t you say there were other gods?” Samantha asked me and I shrugged, “Yeah, but this is a classic. I can overlook that small detail.” She smiled, “Alright.”
