Tink:

"What are we going to do for the rest of the day?" I ask Peter over a cup of coffee. "Go do Christmas shopping," Peter suggests. I glance over at Trevor who is laying across the couch. "What do we do with Trevor?" I question. "We set him on a date with Sarah," Peter shrugs like he has been planning to do so all along. "Alright, good plan. Let's hit up Wal-Mart," I sigh, rubbing my face. "Trevor, go talk to the girl at the counter downstairs," Peter instructs, throwing shoes at him. "Okay," Trevor groans, getting up off his ass for the first time in two hours.

"I've got a splitting headache," I mutter, putting my head down against the table. "Well I need you to come shopping with me. Excedrin or just gonna tough it out?" Peter asks, rubbing my back as he goes to put our mugs in the dishwasher. "Excedrin please," I moan, feeling like I'm going to cry from the pain. The shrill ringing of the phone feels like somebody is stabbing a red hot iron bar into my brain. "Hello?" I demand, ready to shoot the phone if it is a telemarketer. "Why are we having a migraine? I got sleep, you should've too asshole. You know what happens when one of  us doesn't sleep. The other also suffers," Jace rants. I hang up and slam the phone into the cradle.

"Two Excedrin and some orange juice," Peter says, placing the pills in one hand and my cup in the other. "Fifteen minutes in the dark and you should be okay. Just to be sure I'll ask Jace to pop some pills too," Peter say, pulling out my cell. I go lay on our bed with my eyes shut and then drift off to sleep again. "Feeling better? It's two o'clock in the afternoon so shopping will have to wait but all that matters is that you're better," Peter says, shaking my shoulder, I nod and put my head in his lap before drifting off again.

"Uncle Jace!" I hear Samantha yell and the jingling of bells. "Get the whole family, I just rented a house drawn buggy with Christmas money from Logan," Jace announcers. "Horses!" Nathan yells. "Is it cool if I come?" I hear Trevor ask feebly. "Dude, I said the whole family did I not?" Jace asks. I get up, get dressed and meet my family in the living room.

New York is gorgeous during the winter time. "This is awesome!" Delilah cheers. "It is isn't it?" I ask, messing up her hair. Matthew looks adorable all dressed up in his coat and snow boots. Samantha his sitting in Trevor's lap and Nathan is in between Peter and I. Delilah and Trevor at sitting on the floor because if the lack of benches. "Look at all the Christmas decorations!" Delilah says, looking around in awe. This is awesome.
