Rose:
"Hey, where's Tink?" I asked and Peter shrugged, "I'm not sure, you want to talk to her?" I shrugged, I still wanted to check on her, you know, see how she was faring with all of this. I passed Jace and smiled, and he smiled back. I thought I saw Tink head outside, which was weird because it was raining.
There she was, outside, laying in the rain. Quietly crying and I came out and sat beside her. "You thinking about Wendy?" She nodded quietly and whispered, "Yeah..." I reached and and squeezed her hand, "You know she'd be proud of you." I told her and she gave me a sad smile, "Thanks Rose." "Hey, you want to see what your other kid will be?" I asked and she nodded, ge to sitting up. Her baby bump was just starting to show.
We walked back in and I grabbed a blanket, "Here, we don't want you getting hypothermia now do we." She laughed, "No we certainly don't want that."
We finally got to Jean and I sat down outside of the room, "Do you want me to get Peter?" "Yes, he should probably see this." Tink replied. Quickly, I ran to get him. He didn't have any objections to come and see what it would be.
Around twenty minutes later I heard Peter yell happily, "We're having a girl and a boy!" I smiled to myself, feeling happy at the fact that Nathan would get to be remembered. Tink came out shortly after and laughed, "I guess you heard him." I nodded and hugged her, "yeah, and I'm happy for you."
Jace came around the corner, "Is that baby talk that I hear?" Tink nodded, "Mhm, we're having a girl and a boy." Jace grinned, "Congrats." I could see a slightly guilty look in his eyes though and he walked off. Peter walked out and put his arms around Tink, "I love you." he whispered to her and I felt like I shouldn't be watching this. Tink laughed, "Gods Peter, you're making Rose uncomfortable." he rolled his eyes.
Typical boys.
"So how long until the wedding?" I asked and Tink replied, "Two, maybe three weeks."
If I had coffee I'd pull a spit take. "What?!" I exclaimed and Peter sighed, "I have to leave in four weeks...so we figured we'd just get it done with." I nearly slapped him, how could he still want to leave?! If you'd ask me it was a bit selfish.
Tink nodded sadly and I put my arms around her and glared at Peter. I could tell she was trying to be strong for all of us but she was probably on the verge of a breakdown...
When she ;et to get ready for bed I pointed at Peter, "You know how much she'd trying to put up with?!" he took a step back, "What-" "You know very well what I'm talking about! You're leaving to the fucking army before she has your kids!" Petr got angry, "First off, I'm going to be supporting this family and second off, one of them is Jace's kids!" I slapped him ,"It wasn't his fault, and you know it!" He seemed to be struggling about if he should retaliate or not. "Well he's been flirting with Tink since gods knows when! Who knows, he could've wanted to do this for a while-" "Bullshit, Peter, now are you going to keep making up lame ass excuses or are you going to stay with your fiance?!"
I stormed off and left him with the decision, Jace was sitting in the kitchen opening a beer. I wanted really badly to grab it and drink it myself but I restrained myself. "Tink's finance is so aggravating!" I exclaimed, throwing my hands up in exasperation. He raised an eyebrow, "I think we've all realized this Rose." "He crossed the line this time."
Then I proceeded to retell the argument from before and he stared at me. "I wish I could hit him but Tinkerbell would kill me for it." "I already did." I replied as I forgot to mention that tiny detail...
I sighed and walked off, "I'm going to bed, hopefully I can clear my head. Goodnight Jace, I love you." I said as I kissed him on the cheek, and I went to me and Tink's room.
