(Y/n) stared at Orihime and Rangiku who stood outside her door, the younger girl looking a bit more defeated than normal. Rangiku didn't bother for pleasantries, pushing her way in while humming with bags hanging off her arms. "Hey," (Y/n) snapped.
"We're sorry for bothering you," Orihime laughed nervously. (Y/n) stared at her and the girl flinched before (Y/n) softened her gaze. "Rangiku said you might need company."
"And I was right! Look at this mess," Rangiku cried out. (Y/n) sighed and let Orihime in, closing the door behind them.
"Leave my mess alone," she muttered. "This is just a hideout, not a home." There were arms wrapped around her, (Y/n) stiffening from the action as Rangiku squeezed.
"Us girls have to stick together," she muttered. "The women's society was told not to press you too hard for activity but the isolation really doesn't look good on you."
"All right, let me go," (Y/n) quickly pushed away from the big chested woman. "What are you two doing here?"
"Well, Rangiku said you were down in the dumps," Orihime chimed. "We came with movies and snacks!"
"And I have questions," Rangiku nodded. "So we decided to do two things at once."
(Y/n) sighed and walked to the couch, sitting down and motioning for them to sit, "Make yourselves at home. Rangiku went to sit down but stopped, dusting off whatever was on the cushion before sitting.
"Why would Captain Yamamoto want to kill his only kin," Rangiku came right out with the question, the stare from her blue eyes intense.
"Because I did something that is probably buried in the archives as a secret," (Y/n) shrugged. Orihime came out of the kitchen with a tray covered in ice cream and junk food, a large smile on her face.
"So it would have been for the soul society, not because he was angry," Rangiku scowled but soon smiled, starting to make herself a bowl with all the strange toppings.
"Rangiku, everything he does is for the 13 Court Guard Squads. Nothing is personal," (Y/n) sniffed. Rangiku shoved ice cream in her face and Orihime stared for a minute.
"Who?"
"My grandfather," (Y/n) sighed. "He basically wanted to execute me."
"What? But that's so mean," she cried out. (Y/n) jumped a bit, shoving herself out of her gigai. "Ah, I'm sorry!" (Y/n) stared at the two and carefully settled back down, pulling her gigai back up and siding into it.
"Sorry. Just don't yell," she sighed.

(Y/n) shifted only a little when she felt the bodies on her. She looked down, seeing the two red headed women laying in a way that pinned her on her back with blankets over them. The television was on, the menu for a movie on the screen. They had put one in and fell asleep, Rangiku asking question and and getting quiet answers from (Y/n) that revealed just enough but not the whole story. At some point the two older women had started to drink and (Y/n) could feel a bottle still in her hand.
She felt better though, Rangiku squeezing her sides with slightly puffy eyes in her sleep. (Y/n) sighed softly, a knock coming from her door that she looked over at. She pulled out of her gigai, pulling it open to Hitsugaya, Ikkaku, and Yumichika. "They're still sleeping," she stated bluntly.
Ikkaku threw a shihakusho at her chest as Hitsugaya pushed inside, "We can see that."
(Y/n) glared at the back of the Captain's head and let the other two in, "Then, respectfully, stay quiet Captain. I am not dealing with the complaints because we were up late."
"Nice," Yumichika hesitated, sneering a bit as he looked around, "place."
"Don't get comfortable," (Y/n) pushed Ikkaku from the sleeping girls on the floor and rubbed her head. She put the shihakusho on the entertainment center, staring at it for a moment before shaking her head. "Do any of you want tea?"
"Sounds good," Ikkaku replied. She walked for the kitchen, coming back out when the water was done and setting the cups at the table.
"So why did you come to visit," (Y/n) asked.
"To give you the proper uniform since you wouldn't get it yourself," Hitsugaya huffed. He stared at the table and moved himself over to it, sipping at the tea.
"I clearly remember refusing it," she stated. "You got the wrong one anyways. What am I supposed to do when I use shunko?" He choked as the other two did, Ikkaku hitting at his chest as if it would clear his lungs of the liquid.
"Shunko," Yumichika coughed.
"Did you think I was good at kido," she snorted. "Flash step is my specialty, Yumichika."
"Then why aren't you in squad two," Ikkaku asked a bit loudly.
"The only thing I can think of is in case I really was a traitor. Captain Yamamoto would want only his image to be tarnished if that was the case," (Y/n) stared at Hitsugaya as she said it, the two studying the other's reaction. "I guess it made me seem untouchable. Huh Captain? You requested I be put out here under your command to test that out."
He snorted and leaned back in the chair, "You were gone for decades. Who knows where your loyalties lie." The table grew quiet, Yumichika watching the two of them as Ikkaku stared at the tea. She could see it in their faces, the unnerved realization of who they sat with.
"I know where they lie," she replied softly. "And I wouldn't have gone home if I didn't have some semblance of hope that it could be restored." She twitched a bit, staring at the window as a pressure began to build.
"What are you loyal to then," Ikkaku was the one to ask, the battle ready gaze almost able to cut (Y/n)'s concentration.
"It's a who," she corrected. "Multiple who. I missed home." Something familiar ate at her again about it and she jerked up. "Hollow, just outside."
"What-" the window broke through before Hitsugaya could say anything, their pagers going off.
"(Y/n)," the name didn't come out of any of their mouths but the hollows of it could even be called a hollow. (Y/n) was looking at an angry, broken masked man, green hair pushed to one side. (Y/n) had her blades drawn, clashing them against his hand as he grinned at her wickedly. "You look different."
"Yamamoto," Hitsugaya yelled. He flashed next to her, his zanpakuto being stopped as well by the man's other hand.
"Stay out of it, kid," the man gripped the blade, throwing the platinum haired boy aside. "This is older than you." (Y/n) activated shunko and flashed, catching Hitsugaya before he could hit a building and steadying him in the air.
"You know arrancar," he snapped.
"I don't remember enough," she replied quietly. "If he's here just for me then stay out of it. I'll draw the fight away from town."
"Answer me," he roared. (Y/n) shoved him to the side as a blade stabbed into her stomach, making her cough.
"I don't know anyone but Grimmjow," she yelled. The arrancar growled and tried to slice out of her, her hand grabbing the blade and she twisted and kicked the side of his head. She pushed off the building, grabbing the arrancar and flashing higher into the air, Hitsugaya struggling to keep up.
