(Y/n) heart raced as she heard Hinamori talking to Rangiku in a panic, quickly getting up from the crater her body made after being slammed down. Hinamori was punched, her body flying back. Another kido spell was cast as Lieutenant Kira and Shūhei joined the fight. (Y/n) crouched down, her spiritual pressure growing thick as the plate levitated behind her head. She was almost there, almost to where she could use the other technique.
The arrancar began fighting with one another again and (Y/n) turned her attention to Ayon. "Shūhei, you better be useful!"
"Shut up and follow my lead," he ordered. He began spinning his shikai before casting a kido spell, shocking the chimera and making it jump into action. (Y/n) followed the spell down, summersaulting before slicing into its head as it jumped up. Shūhei slammed it down, (Y/n) flashing aside and activating shunko. Shūhei launch down, the creature turning its head a full hundred and eighty degrees before trying to strike at him. Shūhei jumped out of the way.
(Y/n) spun down its arm before flipping back on all fours, watching the creature contort itself to get back on its feet. This was a real monster. There was no sounds of pain from it, no perceivable weaknesses even with its size. (Y/n) felt herself start to giggle, her entire body feeling as though it was vibrating in excitement. The chimera launched at Shūhei, grabbing him tightly.
(Y/n) was on it immediately, her bankai moving faster the harder she pushed her spinning. Shūhei screamed as Ayon squeezed. A mouth opened under the strange mask, Shūhei being pulled toward it. A cero was launched from the side of its head at Lieutenant Iba, (Y/n) flashing and pulling him out of the way before flashing again. She angled a blade straight, slamming it into the chimera's mask and using shunko to propel herself forward more and burying the blade to the hilt.
Her hands flew out in front of her just as Shūhei coughed blood, firing a cero point blank and dislodging herself as she flipped back. The arrancar women couldn't see her at this angle, not very well at least. Shūhei passed out and Ayon started moving for where Lieutenant Kira was taking care of the other two girls. She launched through it's chest, a large hole appeared in it a second after. She landed next to Captain Yamamoto crouched and glanced up at him.
"Making the head captain come out to the front lines," he sniffed.
"I had it old man," she snorted.
"You were playing. This is a real battle," he snapped. (Y/n) stiffened, feeling at the mask. Had she been playing? She did start to enjoy the seemingly impossible feat of fighting the chimera but they both knew she could have finished it off sooner.
"You're right. My apologies, sir," she nodded.
"Can I trust you to take those arrancar," he asked.
"Yes sir," she nodded. The chimera still stood, (Y/n) looking up at it.it was looking at its bloody hand before slapping at the wounds on its chest, growing angrier with each stroke to itself. A sudden angry shriek was let out, the chimera's spiritual pressure growing. Is whirlwind was created towards the hole, the wound healing before it went into a rage.
The right arm swelled before coming for Captain Yamamoto and (Y/n). Captain Yamamoto moved (Y/n) behind him as he stopped the fist, the old man flashing forward and slicing the creature in half. It fell before it shoved itself up again, going after (Y/n)'s grandfather. She flashed and pushed against its teeth before flashing in front of the old man when he swung his blade out and lit the chimera on fire.
"Is it out of your system," he asked her a bit loudly.
"Yes," she sighed.
"Take care of those three," he ordered and pointed to the arrancar. (Y/n) launched above him as the three went for him. The blades unwrapped from her leg as she made the plate spin rapidly, her hand moving it above her head. The tornado was already picking up as the three quickly looked up at her with wide eyes.
"Kaze no Mukui," she muttered. The tornado split into three, the blades rotating through them as she slammed the plate downwards. It had enough spiritual pressure built up, the three caught in their own tornadoes getting sliced to ribbons. The old man added his flame to it, the arrancar burning as the tornadoes vanished and their burnt and cut up bodies fell to the ground below. (Y/n) felt drained, her mask shattering into hundreds of pieces as she started falling.
Captain Yamamoto caught her as she blankly took in her arms, the burns and cuts having torn her sleeves up to her shoulders. She could barely breath, as if the tornadoes were her breath and it took everything from her.
"You did well," Captain Yamamoto said as (Y/n)'s bankai fell away.
The blades dropped to the ground as she held onto his arm, her voice wheezing, "I'm sorry I'm not more of a help."
"This was enough. Get your breath back," he stated. (Y/n) grit her teeth as she tried to steady herself, only to be pulled into the barrier Lieutenant Kira had made and Captain Yamamoto setting her down by Rangiku. It took a moment for (Y/n) to get her breath back, her zanpakuto forgotten for a moment as she leaned forward.
"What was that power," Kira asked quietly. She stared at him for a moment, (Y/n) trying to decide what to say.
"Hollowfication," she replied bluntly, her voice still a bit airy. "I have the abilities of a hollow." He stared in shock as she leaned back, hissing and leaning forward to stare at the burns on her hands. "You could say I'm more like the arrancar but I started as a soul reaper."
"Is that what the mask is," he questioned.
"Yes," she nodded.
"So you didn't betray the Thirteen Court Guard Squads," he muttered to himself. (Y/n) heard and glared at him with a fury in her eyes.
"Is this the place to bring that dumbass rumor up," she snapped. He flinched a bit, staring at her. "Seriously, are all of you like this? Are you all still hung up on that rumor?"
"It was a slip of the tongue," he defended.
"Slip of the tongue my ass," (Y/n) wheezed, coughing before taking a deep breath. She could feel Shunsui's spiritual pressure, her body shifting towards it. "He better make it out or I'm gonna be pissed," she muttered softly.
