Tatsuki supported (Y/n) as inconspicuously as possible, the poor girl's hands trembling. They were slowly walking up to Urahara's shop, (Y/n) slowly patting Tatsuki's back, "Leave me at the door and go change at school." It had taken everything (Y/n) could muster for Tatsuki to even take her out of her apartment. The wrapping that was done was tight enough to hold but was lacking in pressure. It was now dark out again and (Y/n) grit her teeth at the time that passed.
"I'm not leaving you like this in such a weird place," she cried.
"Not a lot of people can see me. The ones that can right now are the people that will help me," (Y/n) grimaced as she tried pushing Tatsuki away. "Trust me."
"You could die," Tatsuki held firm, staring at (Y/n) intensely. It made the injured one laugh a bit before motioning to the door. Tatsuki knocked and (Y/n) heard Jinta's feet pound on the ground as he ran to the door and swung it open.
"We're closed. Can't you- imposter," he blinked as (Y/n) smiled and waved meekly.
"Where's Urahara," she wheezed. There was a flash and Tatsuki started falling forward, (Y/n) grunting as she tried to hold the now unconscious girl up. She struggled before collapsing to the side, Tatsuki landing on her and drawing a whimper.
"Well that's not a pretty sight," Urahara sighed.
"She's not going to remember that is she," (Y/n) pushed out.
"Ururu, Jinta, take Yamamoto inside," Urahara ordered. (Y/n) carefully pushed Tatsuki off and tried sitting up, gritting her teeth as Ururu helped her up. Soi Feng stood behind him, a scowl on her face as she stared at (Y/n). "We'll get her taken home and she won't remember. What happened exactly?"
"I was cutting down those strange dolls," (Y/n) muttered. "And those bastards showed up. I wasn't paying attention."
"You're useless," Soi Feng snapped at her. (Y/n) looked up at her, gritting her teeth and clenching her fist tightly. "If you had any sense, they wouldn't have gotten away."
"I apologize, Captain. Maybe my report will make up for it," (Y/n) stumbled from the children and pushed past the other woman. "Or go home. Either way, my name is on this information and it'll cross your desk."
"You insolent little-"
"Captain, you've been behaving like a raging ass since I returned. I understand I am a suspicious character but please, give me the credit I'm due," (Y/n) felt her head nodding and held her temple. "Maybe I'll have to just send it up."
"I wouldn't want to hear you speak anyways," Soi Feng sniffed. Urahara put one of (Y/n)'s arms over his shoulder and sighed, walking into the shop.
"Things seem to be going well," he noted. He lead her to a back room and set her down, kneeling in front of her, "What's the report?"
"When you cut them down, they multiply out of the separated bits," (Y/n) mumbled and closed her eyes. "I've noticed their numbers have gone up since I've been slicing and dicing so I went out yesterday to confirm the suspicions."
"You've been attacking the dolls," Urahara asked.
"You have to notice the slow deterioration of spiritual energy here," (Y/n) stared at him and sighed. "Not to mention they came out and strung me up like a toy."
"That doesn't seem right," Urahara tapped his chin and scowled, looking at whatever it was he saw above her head thoughtfully. "Do you think that wasn't part of their plan? If the dolls multiply, why would they send pretty much a warning?"
"It's obvious that they're individuals. It wouldn't surprise me if the whole plan wasn't shared thoroughly enough for everyone to be on the same page," (Y/n) carefully peeled her jacket off, setting it down and rubbing her face roughly.
"They got you good," Urahara whistled and started digging in the drawers for bandages. (Y/n) jerked up, wincing as someone's spiritual energy spiked. She grabbed the hilt of her zanpakuto, Urahara pushing it into the sheath more as he sighed.
"Where is everyone," (Y/n) asked quickly.
"Out hunting the bounts," he replied. "I don't think you should go assist them yet."

(Y/n) sat frustrated in the room. After the bount had been defeated, Rangiku gave (Y/n) orders to return home with the report. The four had gone to fight off the bounts, the group with the humans in Urahara's shop with her and planning their next move. She was met with a familiar presence as she stared at Ichigo and it ate at her. Was he what she had sensed the night before and if he was why was it different now?
"You will have to make your plans without me in them," (Y/n) stated. "I need to return to the Soul Society and answer an inquiry."
"What? Right now," Ichigo barked. Renji stared and sighed, slamming his hand on her back.
"I-I have no choice," (Y/n) glared at Renji before sighing.
"Well then get going," he said. "You're on thin ice over there ain't you?" (Y/n) rolled her eyes before standing up and walking out of the shop, a doorway already open and Captain Soi Feng standing patiently by it.
"Evening, Captain," she mumbled.
"Just get through the doorway," she sighed. (Y/n) obeyed, walking through the door and blinking at Captain Yamamoto who stood there patiently for the two. "Sir," Soi Feng quickly bowed.
"You two, to the training grounds," (Y/n) stared at her grandfather in shock. It was a good thing Orihime ended up being a healer of sorts.
"Captain, if I'm here for-"
"Captain Soi Feng questions why I set you as a third seat. I realize you may still be working through your fears but this is something you have to prove yourself," he laughed. (Y/n)'s shoulders fell as Soi Feng's twisted into displeasure.
"Sir, there's no reason for me to fight third seat Yamamoto," her voice was clear as she stiffened.
"It's hard to tell, isn't it," the old man stopped at the entrance to a training ground, motioning in subtly with his cane. (Y/n) slowly walked into it, taking a breath and letting it out as Soi Feng followed.
"What is, Captain," the black haired woman asked.
"You may begin," the cane slammed against the ground and the women stared at one another. Soi Feng was the first to move, the speed slightly faster than what (Y/n) was used to from others but still visible. (Y/n) jumped up and kicked her blade away before pushing off behind her. Soi Feng was forced to turn with it and she faced (Y/n) with widened eyes.
"How did you," she lunged forward, only moving a bit faster. (Y/n) turned to the side, watching the blade as she stuck her leg out. Soi Feng slammed into it, coughing and flashing back. "Why you little-"
"I can- I can explain," (Y/n) held her hands up quickly but the other woman wasn't prepared to listen. Her shikai formed, the delicate looking weapon pointed at her. "Captain, please, I can explain!" (Y/n) drew one blade after the other quickly after Soi Feng lunged forward. The black haired woman's shikai was stuck between two hooks, the third blade balanced on (Y/n)'s raised foot where Soi Feng would have stabbed her.
Soi Feng flipped her legs up behind her, the soles aimed at (Y/n)'s face. The blade was kicked up, her leg quickly coming up and pushing the momentum above her head. The shikai was pulled away and stabbed again, the blades shoving it aside as the girls spun from the motion. "Captain, listen to me," (Y/n) barked. "I don't want to fight with you."
"Too bad," Soi Feng was beginning to push (Y/n) back and the girl grit her teeth. Her grandfather wasn't going to do anything about this and that was obvious as he watched. (Y/n) glared at Soi Feng and watched as the woman stumbled a bit. She was releasing her spiritual pressure and it gave her enough time to speak up.
"Will you just cut it out! I didn't even want to disappear," (Y/n) yelled. She opened her mouth to tell more but her head was pushed down.
"Sorry for the interruption," Shunsui's voice rang in (Y/n)'s ears and she realized why her head was down. The mask had somehow started to form on her face in small bits. Did she have no control over it? She hadn't even attempted to use the mask as she had with Urahara and Yoruichi in training yet there it was. Did Shunsui see it start to form? "I think I can answer your suspicions, Soi Feng."
"I don't need answers from a third party," Soi Feng snapped.
"Captain Yamamoto, I investigated her disappearance and discovered that there were more than normal at the time," Shunsui stated. He released (Y/n)'s head as she rubbed the bone away from her face in a mild panic.
"Is that so," Yamamoto asked.
"So then, she didn't just run away," Soi Feng asked slowly.
"That's what I was trying to explain, Captain," (Y/n) grit her teeth, tearing up a bit. If Shunsui saw the mask start to form that meant the other two could have as well. Urahara had suggested they kept the hallowfication under wraps until more was discovered about it. They couldn't predict what the Soul Society would do and while (Y/n) originally didn't want to go back, everyone she cared about was here and she didn't want to leave. Not now that she was figuring out what she had missed while she was gone.
"This will be discussed further later. As of now, (Y/n) will shadow Captain Soi Feng until this bount situation is resolved," the three stared at (Y/n)'s grandfather, the women in displeasure more than anything else.
