(Y/n) helped squad four, the injured filling every square inch of the relief center. Kama was with her, the back of her plate covered in ointment as she spread it on the injured. "You two are a great help," Unohana hummed softly. "I think you two should take a break for now."
"Captain, my cousin and I are fine," (Y/n) smiled a bit, Kama pouting as she cleared the plate into a jar.
"Let's go in break, (Y/n)," she huffed loudly. "I need fresh air." (Y/n) was dragged by the wrist, Kama's grip anything but crushing.
"Kama, you know this is necessary for now," (Y/n) hissed softly.
"I'm more like a sister than a cousin," Kama crossed her arms and stopped, the courtyard to busy to pay attention to them.
"I'm widely known and they know I was an only child," (Y/n) stood in front of Kama and jerked as someone slapped her back.
"You can't seriously expect us to take that excuse," Chi snapped.
"You're both going to get found out," Ita pushed a girl off of him and motioned with his head out of the area casually. "Can we go try that sake stuff (Y/n)'s always drinking with that weird guy?"
"Weird guy," (Y/n) questioned.
"Mister rice hat," Chi snickered and pretended to wear one, (Y/n) turning red.
"His name was Shunsui, last I remembered," Kama hummed. "It sounds good."
"I couldn't help but hear my name," (Y/n) jerked, staring up at Shunsui as he smiled at the three.
"Captain," (Y/n) squeaked.
"Sadly, this isn't the time to go have drinks," Shunsui chuckled. "It's actually a better idea for (Y/n) to go get some sleep."
"We can take her," the boys hummed at the same time, one on either side of (Y/n) as they led her by her shoulders away from Shunsui.
"Boys, I think you should let he nice man take her," Kama hummed. "After all, you shouldn't deny a girl's heart, should you?" Shunsui blinked as the boys stepped away, (Y/n)'s face a bright red yet again.
"Well, I'll be," he chuckled softly. "Why don't you three come with us? You've been working just as hard with the perimeter and the injured."

Shunsui was going over the reports as the triplets argued with one another over a bottle. (Y/n) had her eyes closed but with her head in Shunsui's lap and the noise going on, she couldn't sleep out of sheer embarrassment. She sat up quickly and glared at the three, all of them silencing as they stared at her. "I hope I'm not overstepping," Shunsui hummed, "You three are Kamaitachi, aren't you?" The three paled as (Y/n) stared at Shunsui in shock.
"Don't worry, I won't say anything. I just haven't seen her relaxed enough to be grabbed before," Shunsui laughed lightheartedly as he set the reports down.
"You really know me, huh," (Y/n) couldn't help the small smile on her face.
"Hey, you're not supposed to know," Chi cried out.
"He would have," (Y/n) stared at them and leaned back on her hands. "So, what are you getting at, Captain?"
"Your zanpakuto and you have been having long conversations for a long time," he chuckled. "I don't imagine they'd attack like the others."
"We would if we didn't understand what she wanted," Kama replied calmly. "We would finally have similar friends and we'd wish to defend them as we had (Y/n) since we came into existence. However, there is a problem that could end up in (Y/n)'s death." It went silent as the boys looked away nervously, Kama staring at the same bottle set between them.
"How," (Y/n) asked slowly.
"You can't fight a hard battle. Not yet," Kama hummed. "It wasn't just us that came of your soul. You could be overtaken any minute." (Y/n)'s blood ran cold as she clenched her fists. She would turn hollow is what Kama was saying.
"So (Y/n) and you three are sidelined foe this fight," Shunsui asked.
"We three are unaffected," Ita informed him.
"How do you know it might happen," (Y/n) asked quickly.
"I'm tracking a fight right now. That soul reaper, Kurosaki," Kama sighed, "he's losing a fight with himself. Muramasa got to him."
"Ichigo is here," Shunsui questioned slowly.
"He's a perfect year bunny for these things," Ita sighed. Shunsui stood up and stretched.
"Then stay on standby, (Y/n). I'll find your grandfather," Shunsui groaned softly.
"I can still help. I have shunko still," she protested.
"He'd be very disappointed if you fell," Shunsui said calmly. He walked for the door, leaving (Y/n) to sit there in shock at the orders.
"We're not actually listening to that geezer, are we," Chi sniffed. (Y/n) got up quickly, walking. There had to be an answer, something to help in case she did lose control.
"(Y/n)," Ita asked as the three followed her.
"Don't follow me," (Y/n) ordered. They stopped as she turned around, staring at them coldly before her shoulders fell a bit. "Go help Captain Unohana's squad, Kama. Ita, Chi, follow Shunsui but don't get caught."
"Where are you going," Kama sniffed. It wasn't something (Y/n) wanted to answer, the only people she could think to help the situation ones she didn't really like.
"Somewhere way too dangerous for you three," she replied. Captain Mayuri would want to pick them apart; it would be bad enough she was turning herself in for his help. The three looked to one another before nodding and moving close to her.
"Bring me back some food," Chi snickered.
"I really liked the sake. Could you get more," Kama giggled.
"Bring results," Ita sniffed. (Y/n) blinked as the three hugged her tightly, the boys flashing away as Kama hung back.
"We answered the call even though we knew what could happen," she stated softly. "We were being selfish in wanting to see as many people as we could."
"Hey, being cooped up inside of me isn't all that fun," (Y/n) patted Kama's head gently, smiling. "I'm not mad I'm just worried. Only you three would be fast enough to kill me if I went through hollowfication again. Who knows what would happen to you if I died."
"Right," Kama nodded slowly. "I'll keep the boys busy while you take care of things on your end."
"Ita hasn't come into himself just yet has he," (Y/n) asked.
"Poison isn't a very fun power to have," Kama nodded. (Y/n) flashed, standing to the doors of Mayuri's lab hesitantly before opening the door.
"Get out," Mayuri shrieked angrily, throwing something that barely missed (Y/n)'s head.
"I'm sure I can help, Captain," (Y/n) was stared at, Nemu standing patiently by the door. "I need a seal."
