(Y/n) winced a bit as she walked around a small, circular perimeter around Unohana's station. It was quiet in this area thanks to Unohana not immediately attacking. Chad had woken up and was seated with Unohana. (Y/n) stiffened at the sound of Aizen's voice, her mind ignoring the actual words as anger started to take her. She tried to feel him out, prepping her blades as she stood rigid.
(Y/n) launched herself up into the air, standing as she looked around to try and find him better. "Yamamoto," Isane was using a kido spell to communicate and (Y/n) flinched. "We're trapped here but that doesn't mean we weren't prepared. Captain Yamamoto set things up in case this happened."
"Karakura town is going to get destroyed and you're content being here," she sniffed. (Y/n) took a breath and put her head back, pulling her mask on. "Sorry," she stated, "I'll be returning to the world of the living. I'm sorry for disobeying orders."
"You aren't. If you have a way to get out of Hueco Mundo, Captain Unohana is allowing you to go," Isane replied.
"I don't but they do," (Y/n) flashed and shifted from Orihime, staring at her for a moment before flashing past Aizen to Captain Yamamoto's side.
"You're late," he joked. (Y/n) was taken back as she stared at him with a straight face. "Be ready, do not hold back." (Y/n) held her breath as she flexed her hands. She gravitated towards Shunsui who adjusted his hat, staring at her jacket sleeves as he stayed quiet. Just being close to him made her heart calm down from the constant racing in Hueco Mundo and she needed it as she took in the espada and their subordinates.
"It seems you're on a captain level," he nodded. "How long is that going to last?"
"Fifteen hours or longer if I'm not under attack. Six otherwise," she replied dryly.
"Shadow me," he ordered.
"Shouldn't we split up," (Y/n) asked. "I don't think it's smart for us to keep in groups considering the opponents we have."
"It'll be fine," Shunsui chuckled lightly before tilting his hat down. "Besides, you work well with me."
"You probably just want to flirt," Soi Fon sniffed. The old man pulled his zanpakuto and (Y/n)'s eyes widened as the flames blew into life. She was shoved down as he swung it and almost everyone followed suit as the flames encased Aizen, Tousen, and Gin.
"He's pretty upset," Shunsui muttered softly. There was a moment of silence. George a Garganta opened up, four massive sized hollow attacking the pillars around the town. (Y/n) went to move but Shunsui held his hand out to stop her. "There are men stationed there, it'll be fine."
"So, this was accounted for as well," (Y/n) stared at Captain Yamamoto's back and felt her shoulders relax. Lieutenant Omaeda began complaining loudly and (Y/n) glared at him for the way he addressed her grandfather, the man flinching as Rangiku berated him with his captain.
"Are we going to talk about that," Omaeda cried and pointed at her, his fat mouth open about a different subject now.
"Sure, go ahead," (Y/n) lifted the visor so he could see her glare. "Waste some more time you oversized pea brained lunatic."
"Now, now," Shunsui chuckled. "This will be addressed later. We have more important things to focus on right about now."
"It better serve its purpose," Soi Fon retorted. "Send her my way when you're done."
"We have things to do, you guys," Hitsugaya growled.
"This is the first front. We can watch for now," Shunsui stated. (Y/n) focused on the fights as they started, shifting a bit and sitting in the air as she pulled her mask back down. "You could be a bit more prepared, little (Y/n). This isn't the place."
"I'm watching," (Y/n) replied.

(Y/n) could practically feel the rage from the espada that had deployed the arrancars. She slowly stood up and stretched, glancing at Shunsui. "They're going to deploy another wave," she commented.
"Yeah," he nodded. Jushiro flashed with Shunsui and (Y/n) followed. "It looks like Rangiku and Hitsugaya are surrounded. You might just have to help them."
"I'm your shadow, remember," she muttered.
"I remember you," a blonde arrancar girl bounced and pointed at (Y/n) as Shunsui talked about his shoulders with Jushiro.
"It's nice to meet you again then. I'm afraid I don't remember you very well," she replied.
"How cold," the man snorted.
"That child," Shunsui started. His face was straight as he eyed the two, "Do you mind moving her away from here?" The man's head tilted as he focused on Shunsui.
"Why?"
"I cannot fight at full strength with her here. Isn't it the same for you," Shunsui questioned. The girl nearly exploded in anger, the man telling her to be quiet as (Y/n) eyed Shunsui.
"It's fine. You don't need to fight at full strength," the man called out. "I won't fight at full strength, either." (Y/n) was caught off guard as Jushiro questioned him, the arrancar fidgeting with his zanpakuto. "Do you think we can pretend to be fighting until the others are done?"
Shunsui clapped as (Y/n) heartbeat rose. What kind of man was this arrancar to be that lazy? He slowly drew his blade as Shunsui stopped clapping. He swung, his blade meeting (Y/n)'s as she watched him get closer to her.
"If you don't want to get hit, don't just stand there," (Y/n) sniffed. The order to attack came, (Y/n) slamming her blade into the man's the minute she heard the word from her grandfather's mouth.
"You're quite angry," the man sniffed, "Are you really the same person?"
"What's your name," (Y/n) snorted. "I guess you weren't that important if I don't remember."
"(Y/n), go help Rangiku," Shunsui ordered. (Y/n) wanted to say something but the look in his eyes told her not to argue. She sniffed and flashed, standing behind Rangiku who was making fun of the three women she faced. Groups like this were just comedic relief as they turned to infighting.
"This is stupid," (Y/n) sniffed.
"Oh, did Captain Kyoraku not need you," she asked.
"Apparently not. He switched his decision on a dime," (Y/n) sighed softly.
"Is this just a fashion statement," Rangiku poked at (Y/n)'s mask with an innocent expression. (Y/n) sighed and moved her hand away, motioning to the arguing arrancar.
"Focus on this first," (Y/n) stated.
"Huh? What are you looking at," the one with a singular horn snarled at the two soul reapers as they stared.
"Nothing," Rangiku replied before readying her stance. She activated her shikai, (Y/n) dropping two of the blades and letting them hang off her feet by the hilts.
"Should I engage," (Y/n) asked.
"Yeah, I can provide cover," Rangiku replied.
