The bottle slammed on the table, her hand around the neck as she glared at Kira. "I'm going to wring your captain's neck like a damn dishrag," she snapped at him. His arms went up, Renji staring a bit shocked. He had invited her out to celebrate killing off the fake menos when he saw her leave squad three's barracks.
"What? Why," Kira cried. "He's a good captain!"
"He outed me to your whole squad," she yelled.
"Hey, hey, calm down," Renji held his hands up. "They couldn't have-"
(Y/n) grabbed his shihakusho by the collar, wrenching Renji forward, "Did you spill it?" He stared and slowly relaxed as people stared, his hand falling on her wrist.
"I told no one," he replied calmly. Her eyes stung as she sniffed, letting him go and wiping at them roughly. "People were bound to finally start digging, (Y/n)."
"What's going on here," Rangiku hooked her arm over (Y/n)'s shoulder and squeezed a bit.
"I don't know, I wasn't there for what Captain Amagai said," Kira groaned and leaned back.
"What about," Rangiku made (Y/n) sit and sat next to her.
"You going to say something or am I," Renji sighed as he sat back. (Y/n) felt dizzy as she poured another cup. She was drunk but what did it matter? He was right about everyone starting to dig, she just wished for nothing about her to be mentioned. She slammed the empty cup down and faced Rangiku fully.
"I," she hiccuped, "Was a damned experiment for the ass known as Aizen and guess what? Me vanishing was because I was sent to Hueco Mundo and I still can't remember everything from it." She ripped the choker from her neck after taking her jacket off, slamming them on the table before raising her arms. The table was quiet and it made her skin crawl as she looked at them all. "Stop staring at me like that! You think I like it or something?"
Her head was slammed against the table, the dizziness getting worse as a harsh voice filled her ears, "You're creating a disturbance."
"Captain Soi Fon," Rangiku squeaked, the atmosphere changing as (Y/n) hiccuped.
"She's had enough to drink. I'm taking her home," Soi Fon sniffed. (Y/n) felt her jacket fall over her shoulders before she was pulled to her feet and lead from the table. "Why'd you have to get this drunk?"
"Why does everyone think I'm a traitor," (Y/n) mocked Soi Fon's tone and leaned on her, sniffling. "I just wanted to be accepted back. That's all I wanted."
"I know," Soi Fon sighed softly. Her grip became gentle as cool air hit (Y/n)'s skin. It was quiet as (Y/n) nodded a bit, rubbing at her eyes. "Who knew you'd look this good in my uniform. You should be part of squad two instead of one."
"You're just trying to make me feel better," (Y/n) sniffled.
"Would orders as my shadow for a wedding Guard take your mind off it," she asked.
"No but something boring to do would be a change of pace," (Y/n) squeezed Soi Fon a bit, wrapping her other arm around the woman to give a hug.

Her head throbbed as she waited patiently. She wasn't fully aware of where she was but she woke up to Soi Fon shaking her and helping her get dressed. "Focus," Soi Fon snapped. (Y/n) launched with her on reflex, her blades against someone's throat.  She blinked and stared at the orange hair, Ichigo staring from over his shoulder at her. The Kasumioji manor surrounded her and she glanced around at it, her eyes widening.
"Damn it," she muttered.
"(Y/n)," Ichigo questioned.
"I can't help you," she snapped. It was a sticky situation and the clan couldn't know who she was. He was here, meaning so was the heiress and this wedding wasn't a good thing. (Y/n) was pinned between duty and what she knew. It served as a good enough distraction, Ichigo sparing her no held punches as she was hit back.
Her gut felt inflamed as she coughed and got herself up, pulling her jacket collar up to hide her face as well as possible. The building shook and she stared back at a man who punched a whole in the roof.  She flashed, steadying Soi Fon. There was a dignified look in her eyes, (Y/n) keeping from saying anything  that would be ignored. Ichigo himself wasn't being listened to and she sighed softly.
"Finally awake," Soi Fon muttered.
"Yeah, sorry. It's a bad hangover," (Y/n) sniffed.
"Protect Lady Rurichiyo," Soi Fon ordered. "I'll deal with him."
"You're a stubborn woman," (Y/n) muttered. She flashed a bit from Rurichiyo, stopping short in her hiding spot as she stared at the girl in question. It wasn't her. She could tell it was a double and it made her teeth grind. She pulled her visor down, stepping from around the rubble and meeting Kumoi's gaze from a small distance.
(Y/n) stayed quiet, Ichigo stopping a bit away and flinching back at the sight of her. He didn't pay attention for long, approaching the double with the fiancé next to him. She couldn't say anything unless she wanted to be discovered by Kumoi who was slowly approaching them. She didn't know who the double belonged to until they stabbed Ichigo, her hand in her hilt.
Soi Fon attacked Ichigo, Kumoi hurrying his steps and standing between them and the false heiress as if to guard them. (Y/n) had to think quickly as Soi Fon engaged Ichigo, the double escaping with Kumoi. She grit her teeth and flashed, pushing herself as she went over the walls of the Seretei and into her grandfather's office. There was too much left undiscovered but she had to tell them what she had found out before the disruption came to his desk. "I have a report," she said quickly.
"(Y/n), this isn't the time," he started.
"The Kasumioji clan have had infighting."
"We knew that when you came back poisoned," he sniffed.
"Lord Kumoi has been making mysterious moves and the heiress of the Kasumioji Clan left for the world of the living in order to escape assassination. The assassins followed them and were thwarted but there is research showing a lack of a certain reishi supply," (Y/n) said quickly. "The substitute soul reaper has disrupted the wedding between the Kasumioji heiress, Rurichiyo Kasumioji, and her fiancé, Shu Kannogi. When this crosses your desk, it will start to involve the Court Guard Squads in the noble house's business."
Her grandfather stared and leaned back in his chair as he thought, seconds seeming like minutes before he spoke, "Were the strange movements why your room was ransacked?"
"My notes and reports were destroyed," she confirmed.
"We will take this as it comes," he nodded. "Continue shadowing Captain Soi Fon for now."
