(Y/n) stood behind Captain Yamamoto as he scolded Ichigo. Their friend was missing, taken to Hueco Mundo seemingly by her consent. He was angry enough to start to shut it off, (Y/n) clearing her throat softly. He stared and walked away, leaving her to stare at the others on the opposite side of the screen. "This isn't an easy time," (Y/n) started.
"What would you know," Ichigo snapped.
"That theres distrust here," she snapped back. He flinched and she moved closer to the screen. "Ichigo, you and your friends can't act rashly right now. What you do will reflect on us if you associate your actions with the guard squads. His eyes widened a bit as the rest stared at me, daggers coming from Hitsugaya.
"You would know about that, wouldn't you," Hitsugaya sniffed.
"I am giving a softer warning," (Y/n) glared at him. "In case Captain Yamamoto wasn't clear enough, I am reiterating." She turned the screen off and leaned back on her heels. She still had to give her report about Hueco Mundo and it made the night seem longer than it had to be.
"You need to be harder on that boy," she faced Captain Yamamoto and her shoulders fell at the enraged look on his face.
"Captain, men like him are only going to get more reckless when ordered like that," (Y/n) sighed. "He's going to become more emotional if it's said like a request." Captain Yamamoto sighed and nodded to the written papers in her hand.
"Deliver that as soon as possible and answer any questions they have to the best of your ability," he ordered. (Y/n) nodded and flashed from the room, stopping short when she heard the jingling in her ear. She touched at the bell in her hair and smiled a bit before stopping at the entrance to the twelfth squads labs. The squad used to give her the creeps but now it was almost familiar as someone pulled the door open.
"How may we help you to-"
(Y/n) handed them the report without letting him finish, "I'm helping you so let me in." The file was taken, the man with the rows of small spikes on his head scanning them as he flipped the pages.
"This is," he stopped and turned to the others in the lab, curious looks on their faces. Every last one of them was a misfit, their bodies reminding (Y/n) of hollows under human skin. "Where did you get this research?"
"It's what I know," (Y/n) replied bluntly. "I am also to answer you to the best of my ability."
"When you say the best of your ability," one of the shorter ones took a few pages of the file.
"From what I remember," she nodded slowly.
"You went there," the man got a smile on his face that made her skin crawl and her hand settle on her zanpakuto uneasily.
"Captain Yamamoto-"
"I knew you were coming I just didn't know it'd be so soon," a hand settled on (Y/n)'s shoulder and she quickly flashed, standing behind the hand's owner. Captain Mayuri stared with his toothy grin, holding his hands up as he laughed. "Great reflexes! I'd love to find out where you learned them."
"Captain, I was just-"
"I'd like to go over it myself," he hummed. The papers were handed to him as he started walking down the hall, Nemu behind him. "You personally visited that forsaken place I take it. Third person reports don't have as much detail."
"Yes sir," (Y/n) caught Nemu's eye, the woman bowing her head slightly.
"I'll ask as I read," he sniffed.

Shunsui was caught off guard as soon as (Y/n) fell into the couch in his office with her zanpakuto dragging on the floor. "Wake me up when the world ends," she groaned.
"Is everything all right," he chuckled softly.
"I'm never going to the twelfth division again," she hissed. "They're a bunch of creeps." Shunsui got up from his seat and sat down, shifting her calves under his legs. (Y/n) turned a bit and grunted, "Hey, I'm not a seat."
"You're too curvy to sit on," he joked. Her face turned pink and she grabbed a pillow, shoving her face into it. "It couldn't have been that bad."
"I just got away from their Captain," she informed him. "We started going over my report early last night. I'm tired." He went quiet and she felt him get up, jerking when hands pressed into her back gently.
"Relax, I only had a few more minutes on duty anyways," he hummed. (Y/n) eyed him before relaxing and putting her face back in the pillow. Part of her was uncomfortable but soon, the tension in her back started to fade as Shunsui rolled his thumbs and palms into the meatier parts of her. A soft groan left her lips and Shunsui let out a chuckle.
"What are you doing," she huffed.
"You carry your stress here," Shunsui pressed between her shoulder blades, missing her spine just barely. She let out a soft moan at being pressed, her arms covering her head to hide any red skin. "Don't want you getting stiff and turning into an old lady." It grew silent as he continued his massage. (Y/n) didn't realize she had fallen asleep until there was a clattering near the door and she jumped up, hitting her head on Shunsui's nose.
Nanao stood in the door with an open mouth and her clipboard on the ground as (Y/n) turned a brighter red. She turned to Shunsui quickly as he covered his nose and hissed in pain.
"What is going on in here," Nanao cried.
"Little Nanao, I wasn't slacking," Shunsui protested.
"I-I'm sorry. It's my fault," (Y/n) held her hands up to Nanao, looking at the ground. "I-I just came to-to destress and-"
"Captain," Nanao barked. "You can't take advantage of someone like that! It's unsightly!"
"Take advantage," (Y/n) couldn't get any redder as she waved her arms. "He wasn't!"
"Then what was that," Nanao cried.
"Courting," (Y/n) screamed, unable to control her voice as she covered her face. The room became dead silent as she struggled to find words to say. "I-I think anyways? Just flirting? I-I let him! I like-liked it!"
There was a stifled laugh before Shunsui broke into borderline hysterical laughed, turning away as she glared at him, "Sweet little (Y/n), why are you red?"
"Stop laughing," (Y/n) pushed him a bit and rubbed her face roughly.
"Wait," Nanao's shoulders fell as she stared in shock. "Flirting? You? And him?" (Y/n) wanted to deflate and disappear into the couch cushion as the other woman stared at Shunsui.
"It's slow going," Shunsui's laughter died down a little as he put an arm over (Y/n)'s shoulders and leaned into her. "Of course, I figured it was a one way street."
"Why would I keep coming over," (Y/n) whined.
