Charlotte's POV-

I woke up that Saturday morning, wanting to hide inside my bed. I put the blanket over my head and groaned inside my pillow, very loudly, I was wishing for this day to end before it even started.

"What are you doing, Charlotte?" Lavender Brown asked. I shrugged through my blanket, not bothering to take the blanket off my head.

"Trying to not exist."

"Is it working?" I heard Parvati ask; I shook my head before remembering that I was under the blanket.

"No, not very well." I groaned making them giggle. I had never really spoken to them before, other than, "are you going to shower?" or "Have you seen my shampoo?" Sort of questions, but they seemed nice.

"Why are you hiding?" Lavender asked, I felt the bed sink under her weight, and pulled the blanket off my head. I groaned at the light, shutting my eyes.

"No reason, just tired."

"Do you want to come to breakfast with us? You'll miss it." Parvati said, I put my hand over my stomach, I should really go eat something, I didn't eat anything since 7'oclock last night.

"I'm quite hungry, actually."

"Well, then come on! Stand up, get up! It's Saturday! What reason do you have to be annoyed!" Lavender said, she grabbed my hand. I was trying to be limp, as she giggled, but Lavender pulled hard, and I fell on the ground, groaning more.

"Up!" Lavender shouted, I stood, throwing my hands up in surrender.

"Okay, okay! I'll go and wash up."

"Good, we'll wait for you." Lavender said, as Parvati sat down with her on my bed. It only took me five minutes to freshen up and change.

"Okay, I'm ready."

"Perfect let's go." Parvati said, they both got off my bed, as I slug my bag over my shoulder.

"Charlotte, I just love your hair." Lavender said, as we walked down the girl's dormitory, and climbed out of the portrait.

"Thank you. I was made fun of a lot when I was a kid for it." I said, looking down at my ginger hair, I did it in a neat braid today, I wanted it out of my hair.

"That's horrible. It's such a nice color. I wish I could change my hair color."

"But you could."

"How? We don't learn those spells for another couple of years." Parvati asked.

"Muggle hair dye!" I suggested.

"What is that?" Lavender asked. I explained that muggles use hair dye to change the color of there hair color to any color they wanted.

"And with your blond hair Lavender, I think it would take easily." I said, as we reached the great hall and sat down at the breakfast table. I picked up a strand of Lavender's blond hair and twirled it around my finger.

"We should do it!" Lavender declared, I put some eggs and a waffle on my plate, I needed something nice to enjoy, it was going to be a long day.

"Are you crazy? What if your parents find out?" Parvati asked,

"Oh, who cares? I don't think my Mum will mind." Lavender said, as she flipped her hair over her shoulder.

"My mum would kill me!" Parvati said.

"And where would you even buy hair dye?" Parvati asked me.

"Hm, that's true." Lavender pursed her lips thinking.
