I woke up before everyone else, I was too excited, I cleaned out my suitcase, putting all my clothes in my dresses, before fixing my hair, and changing into my uniform.
"You're up early, breakfast doesn't start for an hour." I heard Hermione say, I looked over my shoulder, seeing her stretching on her bed.
"I was too excited." I picked up my bag and slung it over my shoulder. I was to bored to wait in my dorm room for Hermione to finish. So, I decided to head downstairs and see who else was up.
"Meet you downstairs?"
"Yes, I'll be down in twenty minutes." Hermione hummed; I nodded shutting the dorm room behind me as I walked downstairs. The common room was empty, so I decided to sit down on the couch and start looking over some textbooks for my classes. I was so far behind everyone else in my year I needed to spare ay minute I had to catching up.
"Are you studying already?" A familiar voice said, I looked up from my history textbook, seeing the Weasley twins coming down from the boy's dormitory.
"Well, I mean I am two weeks late, aren't I?" Charlotte said, they sat down on either side of me on the couch. I shut my history textbook and shoved it back into my bag. I looked at the twins, trying to figure out who's who.
"I'm Fred, that one's George. He's rather ugly, that's how you can tell us apart. It's quite easy." Fred said from my right, I laughed, as George scoffed.
"Everyone knows I'm the better looking one. You don't have to be so jealous of me Fred."
"I'll eventually get you two down. I want to know who's who. But I've only met you less than a day ago." I said.
"We'll hold you to that." He said, as George took out a copy of the daily prophet. Something moved in the corner of my eye, I turned my head, staring at the moving picture of Peter Pettigrew.
"Hey, could I see the front page?" I asked.
"Sure," George pulled out the front page, and handed it to me. Pettigrew's face was laughing, looking almost deranged, he didn't seem like the scared little guy that I read about in the books, instead he reminded me more of Sirius Black, when he was innocent, and no one would believe him, and it drove him insane.
"They say he's metal. Killed all those muggles and tried to kill Sirius Black." Fred said from over my shoulder, he stared at the picture of Pettigrew.
"All they could find at first was a finger, and some bloody robes. They thought Sirius had done it, so they arrested him. Later, when an auror was walking down the streets, Peter Pettigrew was right there. He was covered in blood and limping. So, he arrested him on the spot because he was supposed to be dead. They questioned both of them. Your parents and Sirius both explained that Peter was their secret keeper, so he was put in jail, and was there ever since until he broke out, a couple weeks ago." Fred explained, I felt my breath hitch as I stared at the picture.
"How do you know this?" I whispered.
"We heard Mr. Potter explaining everything to Dad. We figured that Harry would already know you didn't?" George asked.
"No, I didn't." I whispered, I folded the newspaper, and shoved the paper to the bottom of my bag, trying to ignore the feeling that something wasn't right with the story Fred told me. I looked over at the girl's dormitory as Hermione walked down.
"Charlotte, let's go. Do you guys want to come?" Hermione asked the twins as I stood up.
"We've got to go handle some other business, Granger."

"So, finally the Potter returns." Someone yelled from behind me, I looked over my shoulder seeing Draco Malfoy smirking at me. I stood up, raising an eyebrow at him.
