Charlotte-
"We're going to be late; we're going to be late." Lavender kept muttering under her breath, I shook my head at her, I braided her hair, and added tiny white flowers into them. They matched her white and pink dress perfectly.
"Lavender, stop saying that, or I'm going to smack you," Parvati warned, as she slipped on her last earring in.
"All done," I told Lavender, tapping her shoulder once.
"Thank you, I love it!" She squealed. I chuckled, before going to the door and slipping on my silver shoes.
"Are you two done?" Parvati called out.
"Yes!" I yelled back as she looked at herself in the mirror one more time. I had done my hair in a long side braid, with a couple of curled strands out that framed her face. My dress was a mint green dress that had several large mint-colored stars. It was a single strap that also had off-the-shoulder ruffles.
"Yes," Lavender called out. The three of us walked downstairs to the common room, where all their dates were already waiting for them. I looked around for George, spotting him in the corner with his friends. I muttered a bye to Lavender and Parvati before walking to George.
"Charlotte! You look amazing, I love your hair." Angelina said, as I reached there little circle.
"Thank you. Do you guys want to go down now? We're going to be late." I said they nodded, as George offered me his arm.
"Milady, ready for this dance?"
"Oh, you have no idea,"

The Great Hall had three large white Christmas trees at the end of the hall, with so much silver tinsel against the walls and hanging from the ceiling, along with fairy lights that helped make the room seem like a winter wonderland.
We were all standing to the side as we watched the Champions enter. I clapped loudly for Harry and Parvati, he had asked her to the Yule only yesterday being so desperate for a date after I implied she still didn't have a date. The music started and the four champions started the first dance with their dates.
"Harry needs some more dance lessons," George commented. Charlotte nodded, cringing as she watched Pravati sway Harry towards the left.
"I told him to practice. He never listens." I signed, poor Parvati her feet were probably going to be purple and bruised by the time they were done.
"Look at Ron, regret not asking Hermione now, doesn't he?" Fred commented, he nodded towards Ron across the hall, watching Hermione dance with Krum. You could feel the anger radiating from him even from across the hall. His arms were crossed over his chest, his eyes hard and angry. The song ended a minute later, Dumbledore swept his hand across the hall, and tables appeared near the dance floor. We grabbed the closest one, and sat down, then plates of food appeared in front of us.
We ate and talked and joked while enjoying our food. I looked around the hall, looking for him. I knew he would ask her. He sat with his Slytherin friends, with Parkinson next to him. Draco looked away from Parkinson as she talked about something I couldn't hear and his blue grey eyes met mine. I wanted to look away, even as Parkinson ran her hand down his arm and used her finger to push away a strand of his hair, but he pushed it away, his eyes locked on mine. His mouth tipped up in that smirk that drove me mad.
"Come on, let's go dance!" George yelled over the loud music, I almost didn't hear him until he grabbed my hand before I could say no, I had to look away from Draco as he dragged me to the dance floor. George was a terrible dancer and had made me laugh every time he almost tripped over his own feet.
