Charlotte's POV-

I sat on my dad's hospital bed; it was the morning after our shrieking accident. James was bed bound for the next couple of days, we were lucky Snape had somehow managed to stop the bleeding and get my dad back inside the hospital wing before anything bad happened.

"James, how could you be so stupid? I swear to Merlin. You haven't been with Remus-"

"Mum, calm down. He's healing," I said.

"I'm healing, Lily. You can kill me after." He said, but Mum clearly didn't find this funny as she narrowed her eyes at him.

"Where's Remus? Has he come to see you? Don't tell me he blames himself." Mum asked, Dad nodded.

"He's packing up his things now, I tried to explain, but you know how he is. Can't ever get through his thick skull."

"Where Sirius?"

"He had minor injuries, so Madam Pomfrey kicked him out, yelling. Mr. Black, you are not in school anymore. You are not my headache." Harry explained, Mum chuckled under her breath.

"Harry, when was the last time you brushed your hair?" Mum asked, she took out a comb, Harry jumped up from his seat, glaring at his Mum.

"Mum! No! It will lose its flare!" Harry shouted.

"Flare? You've got to be kidding me! It's too messy for a boy your age! Your father said the same thing and had the hairstyle of a seventeen-year-old at the age of thirty-four." Dad ran a hand through his hair.

"How come this is the first time I've heard about this?" Dad asked, shocked.

"I never said it didn't look good, but you know," Lily said, Dad chuckled as a note appeared on his blanket, right next to my hand. I picked it up, unfolding the note. Dumbledore's neat handwriting appeared on the page.

I know you are with your family at the moment but come down to my office. There is some news I would like to discuss with you.

Sincerely,

 Professor Dumbledore.

P.S- I do love a good chocolate frog.

"Who's that from?" Dad asked, as I shut the note, and pocketed it.

"It's from Dumbledore. He needs to speak with me," I explained.

"You don't think you'll get explained for helping an attempted murder run through Hogwarts? Would you?" Harry asked, I looked over at him, shaking my head.

"Harry!" Mum yelled; Harry put his hands up in defense.

"It was a suggestion! I'm not serious." James chuckled.

"I hope not. I'll see you guys in a little bit," I said, as I hopped off Dad's bed and walked out of the hospital wing. I could hear Mum asking Harry to consider brushing his hair, and Harry screaming "no" again.

---

"Chocolate frogs," I said to the gargoyle statue. It started moving in a circle until, the stairs reveled themselves. I walked up the stairs, wondering what Dumbledore wanted to talk about.

"Come in," Dumbledore called after I knocked on the door. I opened the door, shutting it behind me, the portraits stared down at me from there noses. Dumbledore smiled at me, he put his quill down, and put the parchment's he was writing on, and put it in his desk drawer.

"Hi, Professor. You wanted to see me?" I asked. Dumbledore nodded, he gestured to the seat in front of him.

"Please sit." I was starting to get nervous; I felt my stomach clench, I shouldn't have had that waffle at breakfast. Harry's words were starting to get to me. What if I do get expelled?
