"Who is back?!"

"What just happened?!"

"Are you alright?!"

"Is this a dream?!"

"What was that glowing stuff?!"

"How does he know my name?!"

Orchid stormed Resevar with questions as they walked back over to Orchid's room.

"Sorry Orchid, but it just isn't my place to tell you, and don't worry I am fine." Resevar assured her as they reached Room 13.

"Come on! You must know something!" Orchid asked frantically as she walked in the room.

"Look Orchid, I have a very good idea of what is happening, but it just won't be right if I were the one to tell you. Wait for Mr Passer to get back because he will probably explain this situation better then I ever could." Resevar said and closed the door.

Orchid sighed and sat down on the couch.

All of this happening in one day made it feel as if this was all a dream, a joke.

Burying her face in her hands she groaned.

This was too strange to be fake though, way too strange, despite how weird it felt.

She spent the rest of her afternoon exploring her room with the occasional chats with Mairy who seemed to have a very free schedule.

Finally, after what seemed forever, Mr Passer arrived back, meaning that it gave Orchid a chance to bombard him with questions.

"Orchid?" Mr Passer slowly opened the door of Room 13.

"You're back!" Orchid looked up at the door.

"Yes I am, and I suppose you want me to explain what happened earlier to you? Don't worry, Resevar told me every single detail that happened." Mr Passer sat down on the couch next to Orchid, "I am ready for the questions."

"Well um, first of all who is the 'Shadow'?" Orchid asked.

"Well Orchid, the Shadow is an entity created by the Stone of Darkness, which I can explain in further detail later, the Shadow's goal is to engulf the whole of Etarnaya in darkness, which probably won't be very pleasant." Mr Passer replied.

Trying to process what Mr Passer said, Orchid nodded.

"Anything else you want to know?" Mr Passer asked.

"Oh yes, what was the golden glowing sparks in the air? It had a strange sensation to it, that I could just tell that it was coming from me." Orchid tried to remember how she felt.

"Ah that Orchid, that is the force of light that you projected from you. Brilliant thing how you can enforce it around you considering you just learnt about magic today! You see, every single one of us has light within us, but you, you are a Light-Walker, and what makes a Light Walker a Light Walker, is that unlike the rest of us, you are able to use that light within you, and as it is easy to tell, that light can be used against the Shadow." Mr Passer explained.

Orchid's eyes widened in pure shock.

How could she, of all the people, could have the ability to do such a thing?

This ability should have gone to someone special, and she didn't feel special at all.

But she forgot all about that when she remembered that she had one more question.

"What is the prophecy?" She asked.

Mr Passer sighed and looked down at his feet.

"I had a feeling you were going to ask that, but I suppose you deserve to know." Mr Passer nodded solemnly.

"You see, when you were born, 13 years ago, a prophecy was created by a wizard. The prophecy was that on your 13th birthday, the shadow which had plagued Etarnaya for many years would make it's return. But that is only the start of the prophecy, as when the wizard was writing down the second part the wizard disappeared, the wizard never being seen after that incident since." Mr Passer explained.

"So basically if the wizard hadn't written it down this would have never happened?" Orchid questioned.

"No, whether he wrote it down or not, it still would have happened." Mr Passer sighed.

"Oh." Orchid said, hoping that then someone could just write down that everything could be okay.

"But you don't have to worry Orchid, I doubt the Shadow will try to face you again soon after that light show." Mr Passer winked as he got up.

Orchid grinned as they walked over to the door.

"Anyways, I think it is time for some dinner, don't you?" Mr Passer said as he closed the door behind them.

"Yes, I think so."
