Everbloom and Orchid had an enjoyable relaxing day, they hung around the marketplace where the both got topaz shards as souvenirs, the went over to the local bakery where the enjoyed caramel and honey croissants for lunch, and they even trekked over to one of the floating islands.

"I'm exhausted, it was a pretty fun day." Everbloom sighed as they looked over at the view from one of the floating islands.

"I know, but it sorta sucks that we have to speed-walk all the way back to catch the Mairy-Unique before it leaves." Orchid groaned.

"Well, we don't have to walk..." Everbloom said thoughtfully and shut her eyes closed.

"Um Everbloom? What are you doing?" Orchid asked as Everbloom put her hands in front of her.

All of a sudden she saw a glow coming from Everbloom's hands as suddenly a small platform of floating grass appeared from the dust in front of them.

"Never underestimate an Earth Elf." Everbloom opened her eyes and smirked.

She stepped on the platform and beckoned for Orchid to stand on it too, and tentatively Orchid joined her.

"Hang on tight." Everbloom grinned as the patch of grass flew slowly up into the air and sped towards the Mairy-Unique in the distance.

"I had- no idea- that you can do this!" Orchid gasped as she grabbed onto the grass.

"That's not the only thing." Everbloom smiled and Orchid could tell something was going to happen.

At that point the Mairy-Unique was within a few hundred metres of their floating patch of grass, and when they closed in the patch of grass dispersed into thin air, Orchid and Everbloom falling, until it reappeared again, catching them just in time.

"That was so cool! Where did you learn that!" Orchid leaped up.

"Well, I am an Earth Elf, so I automatically have control over the power of the Earth, so then all it took was some studying and quite a lot of practising and this is what I can do." Everbloom smiled.

"Can you do anything else?" Orchid asked.

"Well, not really, just patches of grass related magic so far." Everbloom looked down at her boots.

"I think that it is still pretty cool though, I barely know how to use my magic." Orchid grinned.

"Don't worry, in about three weeks, we are going to Davianna, it's a magic school, so I think over there you will surely learn how to use your powers." Everbloom reassured her.

They walked into the Mairy-Unique, the sun was setting in the distance.

They walked over to dinner where they had pasta and baked potatoes before both heading their own way.

Orchid opened the door to room 13 and sighed.

Her whole entire life had changed drastically since she arrived at Etarnaya yesterday.

She took the piece of topaz out of her pocket and kept it on the small table next to her bed, which was otherwise completely empty, minus a small white lamp.

Remembering how Everbloom had perfected using a part of her power, Orchid was determined to at least figure out how to use hers before she went to Davianna and looked like a total fool.

Remembering how she used her magic yesterday, she put her hands in front of her and tried focusing her energy towards at least creating a spark of light.

She closed her eyes and imaged light coming from her hands.

She opened her eyes to see nothing.

She sighed.

Would she even be accepted into the school if she couldn't use her powers?

She attempted to create a burst of light several more times, and finally on the 18th time, a tiny flicker of light appeared from her hand before promptly disappearing.

Orchid laughed in relief and lay down on her bed.

But then just as she started to relax, she remembered something that she couldn't believe she had forgot.
