"Everbloom, like, that was amazing and all, but, how strong are those vines?" Orchid asked worriedly.
"Well what do you think, they're vines." Everbloom groaned.
Orchid ran over to the window to see the shadowy figures chopping down the vines with swords seemed to be made of darkness.
Orchid had seen this sort of darkness before, when...
"The Shadow! He must have sent his minions here to attack the Mairy-Unique!" Orchid gasped.
"Well what do we do, they seemed to have already temporarily disabled the Mairy-Unique, so it's not like we can fly away, we need to think of a plan." Everbloom said as the loud cracking noises stopped.
"Ok, we're doomed." Everbloom said calmly as the Mairy-Unique fell from the sky before being halted into a stop by a dark aura.
"Run to the dining hall! Now!" Everbloom yelled to Orchid as they could hear the door to the Mairy-Unique slam open.
The two ran down the carpeted hallways, knowing that if they stopped, they would be caught by the Shadow's minions.
They made it to the dining hall, to see an even more panicked Resevar gasping for breath next to a surprisingly calm Mr Passer.
"Come on Evtenor! Can't you do anything!" Resevar pleaded.
"I explained the rules of my power to you Resevar, this situation will be solved and I will use my powers when necessary to aid." Resevar said, he looked at his watch before shifting his gaze to Orchid and Everbloom entering the hall.
The dining hall was filled with panicking guests, who didn't seem to know what was happening.
Orchid and Everbloom ran over to Resevar and Mr Passer.
"The Shadow's minions have entered the ship, they are going to come any minute!" Everbloom told Mr Passer, who was still unfazed.
"Don't worry girls, everything will turn out fine." Mr Passer looked down at his watch, "Three, two, one." He muttered under his breath.
The doors of the dining hall burst open and a dark aura entered the room, followed by a group of shadows in dark cloaks.
"Attack! We need to find the Sunriser girl!" The one leading the rest yelled.
The room was flooded with chaos as the group of shadows ran towards the guests.
'It's me they want, I can't let anyone get hurt because of me.' Orchid thought to herself.
"Hey! I'm over here! Face someone your own size!" Orchid yelled, attracting the attention of the shadows.
"They're taller than you, but if you want to be doomed." Everbloom sighed as she watched the shadows run over to Orchid.
A sudden urge of power surged through Orchid's body, as her eyes glowed a shining gold.
She thrust her hand in front of her.
The room that was flooded with darkness was pushed away by light, the shadows held in mid air by the sparks of light.
"Get them out of here." Orchid whispered to the light.
The light glowed brighter and brighter and everything went pure white, eventually it died away, the shadows no-where in sight.
Whispers started flooding the hall, and Orchid could feel the tension rising.
"I think it is time for me to step in." Mr Passer stood next to Orchid and closed his eyes.
A flurry of stars covered the room, and everyone's eyes glazed over.
Orchid looked around to see that Everbloom and Resevar weren't effected by this like her.
"Mr Passer, what are you doing?" Orchid asked him.
"They weren't meant to see your power, I'm just altering time to ensure that." Mr Passer replied with a smile.
One by one, the stars exploded into sparkles and everyone returned to normal, dazed, but fine.
"That was an eventful day, I think we all deserve the feast now for sure, don't you think Resevar?" Mr Passer smiled.
Resevar smiled back and clapped his hands, and in a burst of light, the tables of the dining hall were filled with food.
"Finally, no more light shows, I would have become blind if something exploded in a 'burst of light' again." Everbloom sighed in such a genuine relief that Orchid couldn't help but snicker.
"Come on, I think I did great." Orchid reminded her.
"Yeah, at damaging my eyes."
-The Distance-
"I can feel it getting stronger, can't you?" A deep voice echoed into the barren grey lands beyond.
"Yes, yes, I can." A sinister voice replied.
"I see our dear friend managed to avoid our attack today, but you see, you are my secret weapon." The voice chuckled.
"Of course, she won't suspect a thing." The voice seemed to be grinning, the atmosphere tense.
"I have a feeling that you and Orchid could pass each other's paths. Very, very soon."
