Jimin softly smiles, looking at her while she brushes her fingers through his black locks. She's just admiring his face, playing with his hair like there's no tomorrow. It's been quiet for a few moments, Ryland lying on the edge of their bed while their other two dogs are on the floor.
They keep staring, their bodies close. He's brushing his thumb across her cheek and just keeping his eyes on her. Only her. "I love you," he whispers, breaking their silence.
She breaks out into a dumb smile, laughing ever so slightly. "I love you too Min. I really, really do."
Despite how they're being hunted at every single turn, Jimin feels at peace. They're still alive. Although he killed more people this past month than he has his entire life, he feels like they can handle anything. Maybe that's a dangerous thought to have but he can't even bring himself to care right now. Looking at her... she's all that matters.
He softly presses his lips on hers, the girl kissing back right away. Ryland picks his head up to look at the pair but doesn't move to intervene, he just lets the happy couple share a cute good morning kiss. When they part, Jimin keeps his eyes closed a second longer before fluttering them open to meet hers.
"What's the plan?" she asks, knowing it needs to be discussed. It's a simple question, but for some reason Jimin doesn't have a simple answer.
"Well, I really miss our house. Not just the room, the atmosphere. I miss watching you vacuum while you blast some stupid disco song," he says.
"Hey! Disco isn't stupid!"
"It's kind of stupid babe," he replies.
She pouts, "Insulting my music taste, how dare you."
"To be fair, I think most of the population would insult your music taste," he says with a chuckle.
"You're so mean to me, after everything I've done for you."
He raises a brow. "Oh yeah? What have you done?"
"I didn't kill you, for starters."
"Oh wow, off to a great start, babe."
She laughs, cuddling up against his chest. He wraps his arms around her body, sighing at the warmth she provides. "We can talk about it later," she says, sensing his distress.
"We should talk about it now," he whispers, rubbing her bare back slowly. She hums in approval, closing her eyes. He does the same, not caring that the dogs are just watching their parents be all cute and cuddly despite being serial killers. "I mean, how are we going to get back to the house?" he asks.
She shrugs. "Beats me. We could scout it, see what happens, but it'll be tough to scout with our puppies, Min."
"They're obedient. They're German Shepherds," Jimin says.
"As true as that is, they're still puppies, and I'm attached. I don't want anything to happen to them."
"Woah woah wait... so what I'm hearing is, you love more than just me?"
She peeks up at him. "Sorry Minnie, looks like my heart has been expanded to our three dogs."
"So I won't get all your love anymore?" he asks with a frown.
"Nope," she replies, popping the 'p'.
He kisses her cute lips, rolling over so he's on top of her. Soon enough, it turns into a make out session. He's licking her lips, their tongues meeting and turning it rather hot. He's not in the mood for sex (very surprising), but he's loving making out with her sweet lips.
She's kissing back with the same intensity, her teeth nibbling on his lower lip as she's known for doing. He almost chuckles but instead focuses on pleasuring her lips. When they finally part to breathe, he's staring at her and only her once again, a repeat of just a few minutes ago.
"You know what? We can talk about the plan later," he whispers, "you were right."
"Wait I'm sorry, could you say that again?" she asks, smirking.
He playfully rolls his eyes. "You were right."
"Hm... one more time. Sorry, my hearing is really bad today. Maybe you fucked my eardrums out."
"Ew." He cringes, rolling off her. "Consider me turned off." She laughs, crawling over to rest on his chest. He twirls a strand of her hair, looking at the smiley girl. "You know, I didn't take you for a smiler," he whispers, focusing on the piece of hair wrapped around his finger.
"No? Really?"
"Well you know, insane killer. Spy. Assassin. Nicknamed Sirena to draw your prey in. I didn't think I'd see so many genuine smiles."
She pecks his nose, keeping her cute smile. "Maybe I just wasn't around the right people," she says. He smiles back, dropping her strand of hair to instead wrap his arms around her back. She comes back to his chest, nuzzling her check against his collarbone.
On instinct he pecks the top of her head, closing his eyes. "Do you want breakfast?" he asks.
"It's nine o'clock at night."
"Nonsense, it's never too late for breakfast."
She chuckles. "Five more minutes. I'm enjoying our stay in day."
"Our dogs aren't," he mumbles, her giggling at his response.
They go quiet, Jimin thinking about everything that's happened recently. They somehow managed to escape Jeon Jungkook again. How? He's not sure. Honestly his brain is hurting just trying to process that a man with so much power is after them. It pisses him off a little bit too. He just wants him and his girl to be safe.
"Hey princess?"
She stirs. "Hm?"
"I wasn't kidding, I'm going to keep you safe. Always," he says, "no matter what I have to do. Who I have to kill. You're more important than anyone or anything, you get me?"
She nods against his center, letting out a short breath. "I was about to say the same to you. Min?" He hums. "I love you." He goes still for a moment, then breaks out smiling.
"I love you too."
