"How do you feel about having an annoying little partner?" Jimin asks you.

You merely shrug, "I'll cope. You?"

To your surprise, he looks almost... sad. "He'll remind me of Namjoon. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe that's a bad. I don't know, all I know is that I want this to be over already. I want to start my life with you. In peace."

Ryland, Major, and Gunner walk behind you, looking alert like good guard dogs should. You just keep your hand in Jimin's while making sure your pistol is still by your side. "We'll get there. For now, we have to keep moving. Move as fast as possible. Find Jin, get out of the country. Flee the states."

Jimin hums in agreement, looking up at the abandoned power plant and shaking his head. "Mr. Kim placed the dramatic one in the most dramatic place possible. I'm not surprised," Jimin says.

"You met Jin?"

"Twice. Not on purpose. Our conversations never lasted more than a minute. Just mutual business friends, if you will. All I know is that he's a jokester and likes being dramatic."

"Great," you say, looking at the main doors to the first building. "Do you think Mr. Kim actually told them we're coming, or are we about to get shot at?" you ask, Jimin shrugging.

"I'm really hoping he did, but it's possible this is just a death sentence. Maybe it's a trap he set to save his life, trade us for Mr. Jeon sparing him. I wouldn't blame him. I'd do it for you." You give him a soft look he's quick to return before stopping him for a moment. "What? Is everything okay?" he asks, placing his free hand on your cheek.

"For now it is. A little sad knowing Namjoon will be gone soon if he isn't already, but it's alright. I just... if Jin is sticking with us for a while, this may be the last private moment we get for weeks. Maybe months. I wanted to cherish it, that's all."

Jimin smiles. "No offense baby, but I think we're being watched right now. I doubt this is private."

You laugh. "Well then, let's give them a show, yeah?"

"Yeah," he mutters, brushing his lips over yours. You gently kiss, adoring the feeling of his plump lips pleasuring yours. Having a sweet kiss is oddly comforting considering the gravity of the situation. You're about to grab a man and take him with you across the world. What could go wrong?

"If anything happens, I love you," you whisper, his smile widening.

"I love you too princess." He brushes his thumb over your ring. "More than you can imagine... and I don't know, it's strangely comforting knowing that at least I have you with me. Next to me no matter what. Like we'll be together until the end."

"You can't get rid of me yet, Park. We have a lot to do together. I have a few royal dates I was promised," you reply.

He chuckles, giving your forehead a peck before moving forward again. The two of you trudge towards the front doors, stopping only a couple feet away to observe the area. The grass is overgrown, moss flooding the walls, the bricks decayed. Looks abandoned, but it isn't.

Your dogs are still behind you, sniffing the ground and staying alert. For puppies, they're pretty smart. You wonder how they'd do in a fight. Although you don't want to find out. You love them too much now, it's like if anything were to happen to Jimin. You'd kill everyone and everything in your path to avenge your boyfriend. Same with your dogs. If anyone messes with them, you're killing them.

The doors open before either of you can move to do it yourselves, two men walking out. "Y/n L/n. Park Jimin," one of them say. The two of you nod. "Follow us." You reluctantly do, entering the dark place. It's lit up by lanterns and flashlights. The place looks to still have power, they're just staying safe by not using it. Can't say you blame them. The less attention drawn to yourself the better. As an assassin on the run, you know that.

"The package is this way," the tallest one says. 'Package', which you assume means Jin. What else could it be, a motherfucking sniper? Actually, that would be so sexy of Namjoon to get you a sniper. Sorry Jimin, you'd be more in love with Namjoon if that were the case.

You're guided to a room in the back, two locks on it. They ask you to turn around so they can plug it in, and of course you oblige. Soon enough you and Jimin are walking in the room, the place lit up by led lights in the ceiling. It's much brighter than the rest of the place, throwing your senses for a loop.

"It's safer if you just trek north. Get to Canada maybe," one of them says as you step fully inside. Your eyes adjust, looking at the large room. There's multiple beds, no windows, a TV, personal kitchen: it's like a small apartment in here.

"You want us to walk to Canada... from New York?" Jimin asks.

"Or drive. I don't care how you do it, but getting to a different country is the best plan. Change names, identities. Just get out and never come back."

Jimin sighs. "Okay, I know a guy up in that area. He transports people in and out, gives them whole new lives. I'll call him when we get going." You nod, but your attention is quickly brought to another man in the room.

Your eyes meet a tall man's form as he stands, walking over with pursed lips. "Y/n L/n? Jimin Park?" he asks. The two of you nod. "Kim Seokjin," he says, shaking both of your hands. "Namjoon left you two something." Jin motions to two boxes in the corner of the room. It's safe to say your eyes light up.

"Jimin!" you say, "Namjoon left me a sniper!" Of course you instantly recognize the case, giddily clapping your hands together and rushing over.

"Trained killer by the way." Jimin snorts to Jin before coming over and kneeling next to you, taking the case in the corner. "A shotgun?" Jimin asks, opening it.

"Hey, if you don't use it I will Mr. 'I hate guns'," you say in a teasing tone.

"Not to interrupt your moment, but Jin needs protection. Take him out of here, trek north. There's a waterfall not too far, it's getting late, you should camp there for the night. Take a tent and blankets, restock on food and water. We'll give you duffel bags. Should last you the whole trip if you ration," one of the guards says.

You look at Jimin and sigh. "What the hell did we get ourselves into, babe?"

Jimin looks back at the guards and Jin, swinging the case for the shotgun over his shoulder. "Honestly? I have no fucking idea."
