Chapter seventeen/// december 1 at night

Astreas Pov

The time was 7:30 everyone did their own thing

Me and Tommy went for a walk in the garden again...

There was a chair swing that we both sat on..

We where both looking at the view of the lake that was near...

Where the cottage was located was perfect

I wasn't too close to the city but also wasn't too far..

We where also close to the river that had frozen over..

Me and Tommy where both talking about parents and then the subject of Mark came along...

"What was up with that guy Mark that came to the cottage..." Tommy asked

"Oh him.. you know my horrible step dad that I told you about"i told him

He nodded

"Well it's him" I added

"I think i figured that out a bit when he went on about you being his daughter" he said

"Yea.. he's umm interesting" I told him and felt uncomfortable

"OK we're going to to stop talking about him" he got up from the chair and went to hold my hand..

I accepted and held his hand as well..

We both ran into the field close to the river

We both sat in the grass and looked at the stars

Thats when it hit me

Holy shit Tommy is actually doing something romantic..

What the fuck is going on

I think he might be on crack..

I was sort of relaxing

We were looking at the clouds by this time

We couldn't see anything

We both eventually got bored..

I told him that we should be getting back to the house

He didn't want to and to be honest I didn't really want to either

It got really cold all of a sudden and I was shivering but I didn't want Tommy to notice..

But he did he ended up giving me his hoodie

As much as I refused to wear it he just put it on me

That's when Tommy had an idea

"I have an idea " Tommy said
