"That's just great!" Gregory exclaimed, tone obviously frustrated. "Now what are we supposed to do? The van's out of gas!" The boy huffed in annoyance. "Well, I suppose we will have to walk." Glamrock Freddy commented, trying to remain calm for Gregory's sake. Gregory grumbled something under his breath—too quietly to be understood—before getting out of the driver's seat. Freddy did the same, though, he took an item from the glove box on his way out.
Meeting at Gregory's side, Freddy watched as the boy looked about for... well, anything, really. They were still a ways from the city limits, and there didn't appear to be a gas station for miles. "Where do you wish to go, Gregory?" Giving a very considering look, Gregory pointed to a hill with a single tree on it in the distance. "Let's go up there, maybe I'll be able to see more." He looked up to the animatronic bear. "Or, erm, you can, since you're taller."
"That sounds like a good plan, superstar." Freddy complimented, before Gregory took off towards the hill.
As they began up the grassy, green hillside, Freddy took notice that the boy was falling behind. Looking tired. "Do you need me to carry you, Gregory?" The bear offered, pausing stride. "I- No...!" Gregory huffed, forcefully continuing. "I'm- Huh...! O-kay...!" Freddy cocked his head a little. "If you say so."
A moment later found the duo finally at the top of the hill, Gregory slowly sitting on the grass to catch his breath. Freddy, however, remained standing so he could look over the horizon. "What am I looking for, Gregory?" Gregory took another second before answering. "I- I dunno, anything? Like, a gas station, or a building?"
"Okay, then." Freddy was going to scan the surrounding area, as it'd be easier for him to spot something, when something else caught his attention. The sky. The golden rays that were slowly shining from over the horizon from the rising sun. The dark blue of the sky was slowly becoming lighter, the white clouds turning shades of light pink and red. "Oh... my...."
"What?" Gregory asked, having noticed how Freddy had seemingly frozen. "It is... so beautiful!" The boy followed the bear's gaze, looking over the horizon. "Huh? Oh, yeah. Sure, the sunrise is cool, I guess." He commented, sounding a bit less impressed. "...'Sunrise'?" Freddy asked, looking down to the boy. Gregory gave him a puzzled look, before said look changed to dawning realization. "... You've never seen the sun rise, have you?"
"No, I have not." Freddy confessed, sitting down next to Gregory. The animatronic bear looked back up to the horizon. "It is so wonderful to watch!" Gregory simply watched as the sun's light reflected off of Freddy's outer shell, causing a small glimmer in the bear's eyes. It was such a weird thing to see. Someone reacting to seeing the sun rise for the first time, whereas, he had simply taken such a thing for granted. With a smirk, Gregory too looked back to the beautiful golden colors of the sun. "Yeah, it is pretty great."
