Gregory sighed as he laid his head atop his arms, which sat on the window sill of the living room. Rain fell mercilessly from the sky, leaving small droplets to cascade down the outside of the window pane. Thanks to this, doing anything outside was out of the question. With all the rain, Freddy wasn't able to go outside.

Yes, he was waterproof to an extent, but this only applied to Pizzaplex guests accidentally spilling drinks on the bear. The elements were an entirely different story altogether. There was no reason in risking Freddy's functions, especially after having had his new battery installed not long ago.

Standing up, Gregory stepped away from the window. He turned around and saw Freddy sitting on the couch—a book in his hands. The boy couldn't see the title on the cover very well, as Freddy's large hands covered it up. Hoping onto the edge of the couch, Gregory asked, "What're you reading?" There was a delayed reaction when the bear looked at him. "Oh, I am reading."

"Obviously," Gregory scooted a bit further back onto the couch cushion. "What are you reading?" He wondered. "It's science-fiction. I found it on the small bookshelf in the television stand." Freddy answered, even gesturing to the stand itself. "Oh." Gregory hummed. Freddy looked back towards the boy, and was about to ask something when Gregory suddenly announced, "I'm borrred!" The bear looked outside to see that it was still raining. Closing the book, he asked, "What would you like to do?"

"I dunno," Gregory mumbled. "If I knew, then I wouldn't be bored!" The bear chuckled. The boy had a point there. "It is unfortunate we cannot go outside, but maybe we can think of something else to do?" Freddy suggested. "Like what?" Gregory wondered. The bear paused, eyes narrowing as he thought. Unfortunately for him, the only things he could think of for the moment were all party games, or party game related. A party game of two wouldn't work out, especially since there was no party at the moment.

The sound of a key sliding into the lock of the house's back door was suddenly heard. Both bear and boy looked to the direction of the door, Freddy even noting how Bill said he had a late shift that night—meaning it couldn't be him. The door opened, revealing a man overshadowed by a dripping wet raincoat. Gregory tilted his head a little to catch the guy's face as he entered the house and closed the door behind him. He pulled off his hood, revealing himself to the two on the couch. "Hi Kurtis!"

"Hey, kid!" Kurtis called back, taking off his coat. "How's your day been?" He asked, making idle chat as he went to put his coat in the dryer. "Good." Freddy answered, followed by Gregory's answer of, "Boring!" Kurtis laughed a little, starting the dryer. "Yeah, the rain really puts a damper on things." He punned, earning a small chuckle from Gregory. Freddy simply stared, the joke obviously having gone over his robot head. Kurtis looked to Freddy. "... Not a fan or puns, I take it?"

"'Puns'...?

"Nevermind." Kurtis waved him off, changing the subject. He looked to Gregory again. "So, it's been a boring day?" The kid nodded. Kurtis hummed. "Well, I'm going to be hanging around with you two tonight, so why don't we find something to do?" He offered. Gregory got off the couch, and walked up to Kurtis. "Like what?" He wondered. "My uncle's got a few board games, I'll see if I can find them."

"Okay." Before Kurtis walked into the other room in search of the board games, he pointed to Freddy. "Do you mind making a couple mugs of hot cocoa for us, pal?" Freddy shook his head 'no'. "It is no problem, Kurtis." He assured the man, while also standing up from the couch. Gregory followed after Freddy into the kitchen, while Kurtis went to find a game to play.

A few moments later, Freddy was setting down a mug of cocoa for Gregory in front of the boy just as Kurtis came back. "How does UNO sound, kid?" Gregory gave a thumbs up with one hand, using his other hand to take a sip from his hot cocoa. Freddy set Kurtis' mug down, as both he and Kurtis sat at the table. "Cool. Let's play!"

"I don't know how you did it," Kurtis began, sitting on the couch—TV remote in hand. "But you both were in cahoots, I swear it!" Gregory looked offended at that. "We were not! I won by my sheer skill!" Freddy chuckled. "I would never cheat, Kurtis!" He added. Kurtis eyed the bear suspiciously. "You have a 'no cheat' code in your programming?"
"Well, no... But I would always encourage the kids at the Pizzaplex to not cheat. How would that look if I cheated?" Gregory pointed to Freddy, and enthusiastically agreed. "Yeah! You see? He wouldn't!" Kurtis shook his head and laughed. "Okay, okay, you got me... Gregory clearly beat us both, then." Gregory gave a victorious punch to the air, mouthing a "Yeah!" as he did.

"Now, how about a movie?" Kurtis offered, scrolling through a library of animated Disney films. Gregory fixed some of the throw pillows on his spot before grabbing the blanket from off the back of the couch to snuggle up on the couch. "Alright!" Kurtis ruffled the boy's hair a little, before going back to scrolling. "You have any you want to watch?"

"Um..." Gregory paused. He looked away. "I don't remember the last time I've watched a movie.... actually..." Freddy, being sat on the floor in front of Gregory, turned around to look at the boy. "You haven't?" Gregory shook his head 'no'. Freddy reached up to pat Gregory's leg. "Well," Kurtis began. "Let's fix that." Gregory smiled a little. "Oh, here's a good one!"

"What is it called?" Freddy asked, as Kurtis played the movie. "It's called 'Up'. I think you two are gonna like this one." Kurtis answered, a knowing lilt in his tone. As the movie started, he got up. "I'll go make some popcorn."

"Thanks, Kurtis!" Gregory thanked, though his gaze remained fixated on the screen. "No problemo, kid!"
