"She saw him?" Officer Vanessa asked her colleague—who was at the festival site. She'd been called after the festivities had been closed down for the night, planned to be opened again the next morning. "Yeah! She said they made eye contact," Drew went on to explain. "She watched Freddy hurry away from the festival grounds."

"Was he with anyone?" Vanessa then wondered. "Uh..." She could hear Drew put his hand over his phone, turning around to relay the question to a co-worker. "... Yeah... Ok." He put his phone back up to his ear. "There was a kid with him, apparently." The security guard's green eyes narrowed. "Did the kid have brown hair and eyes, shorts and a t-shirt with two stripes on the front?"

"I... um..." Another quick beat of silence. "Dido on the hair, eyes and pants, negatory on the shirt. The kid had a jacket on." Drew answered, before then asking, "What does that have to do with this?" Vanessa let out an exasperated sigh. "Never mind the kid for now. I'd like you to send out Roxy to try and find Freddy. Stay close to her, but don't let him see you."

"Really?" Drew shrugged a little, before then complying with, "Alright, we'll do that, I guess." Vanessa hummed. "Good. Let me know how that goes."

Putting the van into park, Gregory took the keys from the ignition. "Did we really need to park somewhere different, Freddy?" He asked, undoing his seatbelt. "Yes, Gregory." The bear answered, helping the boy climb into the back of the vehicle. "Why? It's not like anyone can see you in here!" Gregory told, putting the keys in the top drawer of the small dresser. "Roxy probably could."

"Uh, Freddy, I don't think Roxy is going to just be walking in town." Gregory noted, hopping onto the edge of his bed. "Maybe not... but, it does not hurt to be too careful." Freddy answered, as the boy handed him his coat. "I guess...?" The boy shrugged. Freddy shook his head a little, putting Gregory's coat away under his bed.

"If you would like, you are permitted to return to the festival tomorrow," The bear began. "But, this time, I will not be accompanying you." He told. "That's okay." Gregory assured his friend. "If I need you, I still have my watch." He held up his wrist to emphasize his point. "Oh, speaking of the Fazwatch," Freddy suddenly remembered. "How is the battery on it?"

"Oh!" Gregory looked down to the device. "It's uh, kinda low... We should go find some batteries for it." Freddy hummed. "We'll do that tomorrow before the festival. Okay?" Gregory nodded, turning the watch off to preserve it's battery life. "Okay."

"Which way did you see him go?" Drew asked, as he followed Roxanne Wolf down the darkened sidewalks of the city. "He totally went this direction." She told, continuing to walk in front of him. The wolf briefly paused stride. "He hung out at the park for a while, before leaving and going this direction."

"If you say so." Drew yawned. Roxanne rolled her yellow eyes a little, her pace continuing. "I think he got in a vehicle, actually." She continued. Drew cocked his head, puzzled. "Because he suddenly sped off, before I lost sight of him." The man mumbled something to himself, before then asking, "And he sped off this way?" A nod from the animatronic. "Well, let's keep going this way and you look out for him, yeah?"

Gregory was sound asleep. Freddy was preparing to enter sleep mode himself, seeing as things were quiet and undisturbed. Just to ensure nobody was lurking around, the bear went to sit in the front passenger seat so as to get a good view of the outside. After a moment, he was about to return to the back, when he spotted something. Someone, for that matter. His eyes widened, watching Roxanne walk down the street, looking as though she hadn't noticed the van.

The bear froze for a second. He tried weighing his options. Should he stay in the van? Though, Roxy would probably spot him, and if she saw him running from the vehicle, she'd probably come by and spot Gregory also inside. But, if he ran now, he could duck out for a while until Roxy was elsewhere. But, he didn't want to abandon Gregory. Looking back to the sleeping boy, the bear remembered that he could stay in contact with Gregory, so long as he didn't wander too far away.

Nodding to himself, the bear quietly left the van, to subtly sneak off into a nearby alley where he would not be seen. Freddy remained next to a large dumpster, crouching next to it while doing his best to listen for Roxanne approaching. He silently wished that they don't check the van.

"I saw something move!" Roxanne said, suddenly stopping. Her eyes scanned the nearby area, trying to see where the movement had come from. "Where?" The animatronic was silent for a minute. "I... lost it." She told, before noticing something else. "Hey, there's a person in the back of that van over there!"

"What?" Roxanne quickly looked both ways for traffic, before then hurrying across the street and towards the van in question. "Roxy! Wait!" Drew called, running after her. "Is there only one person in there?" The wolf nodded. "It's probably just someone in their own van, leave it alone!" The man tried to explain, to keep the animatronic from rudely breaking into some stranger's van. "Look, let's just-"
"OVER HERE!" A familiar voice suddenly called. Roxanne's ears perked, and she looked over to where it had come from. "That was Freddy!" Drew's eyes widened. "Follow him!" He instructed, seeing Roxy already dart off towards the sound of his voice.
