"Gold?" Freddy's eyes were wide as he watched Gregory digging his hands into the small chest. Coins were sliding over one another, and through the boy's fingers. "Are they real, Freddy?" He asked, looking up to the bear. Freddy gave a small shrug. "They appear authentic." He commented, reaching to pick up a coin for himself. Gregory watched as he examined it closely. "So...?"

"It may very well be." The animatronic answered, putting the coin back in the chest. "Aw yeah!" Gregory cheered excitedly. "We could totally get a lot of money from these!" Freddy gave a half nod in response. "I think it is best we find someone who can tell us for certain." He then suggested, closing the chest once Gregory pulled his hands out. "Oh! Good idea!" The boy agreed, standing up and beginning to go back to the front door. "Let's take this back to the van and head out, then!"

"Uh, Gregory?" He paused, looking back to the bear. "We are still out of fuel for the van." Gregory's excited look faded a little. "Oh... right." Freddy picked up the chest, and placed it near the door. "Once we can find fuel, then we can continue driving. Alright?" The boy gave a nod, before continuing to search just as he had been before they'd opened the chest.

For the next half hour, the duo continued searching for anything to use for gas or fuel in the cabin. It was almost impressive how many boxes of mostly junk there were in the cabin. Though, it was all covered in thick layers of undisturbed dust, meaning nobody had been there in ages. So maybe it'd be okay to take the chest?

Somewhere, in the back of Freddy's programming, something was telling him not to take the chest with them. To leave it there. However, Gregory seemed very excited and happy about this. Seeing Gregory happy, made Freddy happy. Maybe once they do find someone to tell them if the gold coins are real, Freddy could convince Gregory that they should ask about the cabin? It would be the right thing to reunited the abandoned coins with their owner, after all. Maybe the person who owns them is nice?

Putting that idea aside for now, Freddy continued helping Gregory sort through all the boxes—taking a mental check of his current battery capacity. It was beginning to get down to the low 40 percentage. However, with how long the car battery had lasted by now, it wouldn't be much of a problem for a while yet. With that, he left it alone.

"Okay, I poured it all in!" Gregory called, putting the now completely empty jerry can back onto the ground. From where he sat in the driver's seat, Freddy watched as the fuel gauge in the dashboard slowly ticked up. It only barely reached the halfway mark. "Is that all of it, Gregory?" The boy gave a thumbs up as he walked up to the open door. Freddy hummed. "... Is it not enough?"

"Oh, no, do not worry." Freddy began, looking to the boy. "It just did not fill up the tank all the way." He explained. "How far will we be able to get if the tank isn't full?" Gregory asked, sounding a little worried. "I saw signage of a gas station about 18 kilometers up the road, just before we stopped at the cabin." Freddy began. "We should have enough to make our way there for more fuel."

"Okay, that's good, then!" With that, Gregory made his way around the van to sit in the passenger side. Opening the door and climbing in, he asked, "You think we could get more snacks while we're there?" Freddy gave a nod as he did his seatbelt up. "I don't see why not!" Gregory smirked as he too did his seat belt, all the while Freddy turned the key in the ignition. Then, the two were off again—Gregory turning on the radio as they drove, ensuing in both singing along to whatever was playing.

Working at a gas station in the middle of the woods had inevitably brough all kinds of... unique characters along. It's always the wacky ones taking road trips into the boonies like this. But these next costumers would take the cake. The man seemed skeptical at first, watching as a fourth grader and an animatronic stepped out of a white van whose windows were covered with what looked to be curtains.

Kurtis rolled his eyes and quietly hummed to himself, finishing up with the cash register—which he'd been fixing the drawer of—before putting on his best customer service smile and exiting the interior of the gas station to greet the two and ask if they needed any help.
