"Faster, Freddy!" Gregory cried from where he sat atop Freddy's shoulders. "Do not worry, superstar, the Festival is not going anywhere!" Freddy assured the boy, coming up to the main street that was full of excitement and activities. Gregory's chocolate brown eyes lit up at seeing it all. Sure, he'd been around while they were setting up, but now that the Festival was actually open and running, it all seemed to really come to life. "Freddy, look at it!"

"I am looking, superstar!" Freddy told, chuckling a little at hearing how excited the boy was. "Oh! Oh! Let's go try and beat the bottle tower!" Gregory suggested, pointing towards the corresponding booth, expecting Freddy to go in that direction. Instead, the bear carefully lifted Gregory off his shoulders, systems whirring audibly as he lowered the boy onto the ground. Gregory blinked, watching as Freddy then went through the smaller pouch of his backpack. "... Freddy?"

"Here, superstar." Freddy told, presenting Gregory with about half of the cash that was being kept in the bag. The other half was left in the van. "Go have fun!" Gregory took the money, and stared at it for a moment. Slowly putting it in his pocket, the boy then looked back up to the animatronic—a small look of disappointment on his face. "Are you sure you can't come with me?"

"Again, I am sorry, superstar, but no." Freddy answered, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder. "You remember what I said last night, right?" Gregory mumbled a 'yeah', giving the ground a small, upset kick. "Do not let this keep you from having a good time, alright?" There came no affirmative answer. "Gregory?"

"Could you at least come with me for the games closer to the entrance?" Gregory suddenly suggested, a lightbulb seemingly gone off in his head. "That way you could easily leave before anyone spots you!" Freddy looked hesitant. "I am... unsure of that idea, Gregory." The boy had a pleading look on his face. "Please?"

"I..." The pleading look continued. Freddy bowed his head and sighed a little in defeat. "... Very well. But I will not be going too far into the Festival, understood?" Gregory nodded excitedly. "Yup! Okay, let's go!" With that, the boy grabbed onto the bear's hand and dragged him hastily along to the closest carnival game.

"This is th' bes' cotton can'y I've ever 'ad!" Gregory exclaimed, mouth half-full with the pink, fluffy floss. Freddy gave the boy a certain look, indicative of not speaking with food in his mouth. The boy swallowed his bite, before sheepishly saying, "... Heh, sorry." Freddy smiled and shook his head. "It is fine. That cotton candy does look more delicious than what is served at the Pizzaplex, I'm sure."

"You think?" Gregory curiously asked, taking another bite. The bear nodded. "This looks much more fluffy, whereas the concessions at the Pizzaplex serve cotton candy that looks... well, I am unsure how to say it?" Freddy paused, scratching his chin in thought. "Not... fluffy." The boy giggled, continuing to finish off his cotton candy while the two walked. They were halfway into the Festival street, and while Freddy had noticed this, he and Gregory were both having fun. The animatronic hadn't noticed any event organizers giving him questioning glances, so he felt somewhat safe.

"Are you all ready to DANCE?!" A female voice suddenly called out in question, followed by a small crowd of cheers. Freddy froze, instantly recognizing the voice. Gregory thought the voice sounded familiar too, but because of not being in the Mega Pizzaplex, the boy shrugged it off as a coincidence. Freddy looked in the voice's direction, and that's when he saw her. Roxanne Wolf.

The wolf animatronic was stood on a mobile, one person stage that had been set up in a clearing in the blocked off four-way-stop in the street. She was surrounded by several Festival guests, all excited to see her perform. She even had her bright green "keytar" plugged in and ready to go. A couple of Pizzaplex employees were just next to her, ensuring everything about her one-animatronic-show was going smoothly. Roxy happened to spot the bear across the way when she was looking over the small crowd. The two made eye contact for a quick second.

"Hey, I wonder what that was?" Gregory commented, glancing up to see Freddy frozen in place. "Uh, Freddy?" Suddenly, the bear began to look a little panicked, quickly looking around for somewhere discrete to leave the Festival by. "Freddy? What's wrong?" Gregory asked, as the animatronic hurried behind a few vendor's booths. "It's Roxy!"

"What?" Gregory came up beside Freddy, who was now hidden behind one of the carnival games. "That voice, it was Roxanne! Gregory, that means there are Pizzaplex employees here. I cannot be here!" Freddy explained in a whisper. Gregory turned back around, and sure enough, he was now able to see Roxanne performing for the kids and adults alike in the crowd surrounding her. "Oh...!"

"Gregory, listen," Freddy began again. "You can stay for longer. I will be waiting for you at the park, okay?" He explained. Gregory gave a small nod. "Um, okay." Freddy ruffled the boy's brown hair, before sneaking off to the park—out of sight of the organizers. Gregory hummed, going back out into the crowd. Unbeknownst to both of them, Roxanne's superior eyes—which had been replaced—watched as Freddy's yellow silhouette took off, until he was out of range. She continued to sing and dance, while Gregory watched her performance, and the employees, for a while.
