-The day before-
"Monty! You too?" Vanessa huffed, as she watched the animatronic gator being dragged in by a now-repaired-Glamrock Chica. "What on earth happened tonight, you guys?" The security guard asked, hauling Monty into the repair seat in Parts and Service. "Well, we t-t-tried to get the kid l-l-like you told u-us," Chica began to explain, her voice box still glitching a bit as it recalibrated. "But, he g-g-got the b-b-better of us!"
"How did he manage to damage you guys this badly, anyways?" Vanessa asked over her shoulder, beginning Monty's repairs. "The kid got me in the head with a go kart." Roxanne answered. Chica followed with, "He shoved m-m-me into the trash c-compactor." Vanessa paused, glancing over to them, a puzzled look on her face. "H-He bro-o-oke the h-h-hole in o-one hurri-i-icane b-bucket. I-I-It l-land o-on m-m-me, and I-I-I fe-e-ell off th-e c-c-catw-walk!" Monty told, voice distorted horribly. "Good grief...! What else did this kid do?" Vanessa asked, adding, "I had to pull out replacement parts for you guys because you all had parts missing!"
"The kid took those parts from us." Roxy answered. "W-When I s-saw Gregory with F-Freddy a-afterwards, I s-saw that Freddy h-had o-our parts!" Chica explained, as her and Roxanne watched Vanessa fix up Montgomery. "What do you mean 'Freddy had them'?" The guard asked, still a bit confused. "Gregory installed them o-onto F-Freddy."
"Wait," Vanessa began, pausing again. "Where is Freddy?" The two repaired animatronics shrugged, indicating they didn't know. "He was helping that little twerp out the whole night!" Roxy told, sounding a bit mad about the fact. Vanessa sighed and shook her head a little. "Okay, let me finish with Monty here, and then I can check the security footage to see what happe-"
"SECURITY ALERT! SECURITY ALERT!" A voice suddenly shouted. "WOOH! WOOH! WOOH!" Vanessa jumped, as the voice caught her off guard. Sundrop was suddenly prancing towards Parts and Service at a fast pace. Vanessa stopped what she was doing, and went up to the Daycare attendant. "Sunny! Why aren't you in the Daycare!"
"I SAW SOMETHING!" Sundrop began. "I had to come find you, and tell you the minute I learned of this, Officer Vanessa!" Vanessa crossed her arms. "Saw what? What happened?" She asked, tone irritated. "The bear has LEFT the building!"
-Present-
"How is your dinner, superstar?" Freddy asked, looking to the boy sat next to him on the park bench. Gregory was happily munching away at the turkey and cheese sandwich he'd bought from a small, locally-owned café they'd come across. "It's delicious!" The boy answered, before taking another bite. Freddy laughed a little, and ruffled Gregory's chocolate-brown-hair. "I'm glad to hear it. It certainly looks delicious!"
"Mm... Hey, F'eddy?" Gregory asked around the food in his mouth. The bear promptly stopped him. "Gregory, you should not speak with food in your mouth." Gregory half-rolled his eyes a little, but swallowed his food without another word. "Now, what is it?" Freddy said, letting the boy continue. "Does Chica actually eat pizza? Or, like, does she just shove it in her beak?"
"She eats it. But it is a function unique to her." Freddy answered. Gregory hummed. "Cool!" Then, he took another bite of his sandwich. Swallowing again, the boy then said, "It'd be cool if you had the same function too. This sandwich is really good!" The bear chuckled. "You eat up. It is best we not stay in one place too long"
"O'tay!" Gregory said-—mouth full, again.
After Freddy's battery had been replaced, the two packed up some supplies from the company van before taking off again. Gregory climbed back into the vehicle to rummage around and see what else there was in there. There was a tool box, a backpack, and not a whole lot else. Freddy suggested they bring the backpack, so as they could keep items inside of it, such as the blanket Gregory had dragged back from the cabin. Gregory then asked if they should bring any of the tools from the toolbox, just in case Freddy ever needed to be fixed. The bear agreed, and informed the boy on what tools to bring.
After having packed up with the essentials from the van, the two took off again. They had no definite destination in mind, and for now, Gregory's goal was to simply 'show the world' to Freddy—even if they could probably only make it as far as the city's limits. It was still an adventure, and Freddy was glad to accompany the boy as they went.
Once the duo had finally made it into town, it didn't take long for them to spot a small café that was still open. Freddy took out the $50 he'd stashed in Gregory's backpack earlier, and handed $5 to the boy, explaining it would probably be best if he went to get something to eat. The boy agreed, and left the bear to wait outside for him. Not long after, Gregory returned with a plastic-wrapped-sandwich in hand, and the two went to a nearby park where Gregory was now enjoying his sandwich.
It had been a good day, Gregory thought as he contentedly swung his legs over the edge of the bench as he ate. The woman working at the café had been nice to him. Maybe he'd ask Freddy if they could go back in the morning so he could buy breakfast. That seemed like a good idea. The two remained in comfortable silence, until Gregory's sandwich slowly disappeared.

A.N. Announcement! An idea has come to me. What would you guys think if I opened up the door to prompt requests? It seems like a fun idea! I'd only be taking prompts for Freddy and Gregory, so I can further the side of the plot with Vanessa and the other animatronics so as this doesn't drag out for years xD
Let me know if you guys are up to it, and if so, I will open this story to prompts!
Thank you for reading, and I'll see you here next week!
