Nice moment

Kyo stretched her arms wide when she exited the hut. Waving away a yawn as she inspected the glorious morning.

Noticing a familiar face hanging around in a field of flowers.

She approached her friend, who was soaking up the morning sun and enjoying various flowers. "Hello!"

"Omg, Kyo! You startled me."

The brown-haired wolf grinned, "Sorry about that; you really love flowers, huh?"

Shinto smiled as Kyo sat down with her, "yes...I've always taken a liking to the vibrant colours. Though these ones are mostly white wildflowers."

"And buttercups," Kyo added in.

The angle averted her gaze to the flower crown lying in her hands. "Yes...those too."

The wolf perked up at the little crown, "can you make me one too?"

Shinto laughed, "I certainly can."

Just as the angel finished the crown and sat it atop Kyo's head, Kirara came running with an apple in her mouth.

The two girls exchanged confused looks; Kirara sat her rump down and plopped the red apple before the wolf.

She took it and smiled, "well, I am hungry." The wolf would have taken a bite from the fruit, but her ears picked up the sound of a laugh.

Her deep blue eyes slid to Shinto, scratching Kirara and heard it again. It wasn't coming from her but from the tree high above them.

Kyo scanned the tree, smelling the air. The dog demon's scent drifted towards where the laugh had come from.

"Really? Such a creep."

Kyo cleaned the apple with her top, extended her arm back and pegged it at the dog. The apple hit right on target as it struck his forehead.

Inuyasha fell on his back and rubbed the sore spot. "What did the hell did you do that for?!"

Kyo stood, shooting him with an accusing glare. "You were spying on Shinto!"

The angel noticed her name being said and looked up. Spotting Inuyasha and Kyo towering over him.

"What's going on?"

Kyo turned and said, "this douchebag was spying on us."

Inuyasha growled, "I wasn't spying; I was enjoying the view from the tree."

Shinto raised a brow, "the view?"

He averted his gaze, his cheeks becoming a light shade of pink, which neither of the girls saw.

"Yes, the view."

Suddenly Koga emerged from a bush, and Shinto's wings sprung from her back in surprise. "Ah!"

"I can smell something on you, Kyo!"

"You too, Koga!" Kyo also piffed the apple at him; he, too, went down. Blood spurted from his nose as he fell backwards.
