It'd been a couple more days since Shinto and Kyo were in company with Inuyasha and his friends. Naraku brushed off his other responsibilities, considering Kyo the top priority.

He'd planned to kidnap her and try to gain some use from her. But, of course, Kagura would be going in his stead.

Kyo was helping to collect fresh herbs for Kaede. She had a straw basket on her back, and suddenly a gust of wind violently threw her off her feet.

"Whoa!" She looked up as strands of her hair whipped about in all directions. Kyo barely recognised the lady, but the scent of Naraku was all over her.

She stripped the basket off and flared her wings out. Kagura scoffed, "I'm not in the mood for a fight. It would be in your best interest to come willingly."

Kyo furrowed her brow, "do you think I'd come with someone who reeks of Naraku?"

The lady sighed, "no, but it seems like Inuyasha and his pals are nowhere to be seen."

Kyo gave a cocky grin, "no, but I can sure as hell take you on by myself."

She readied her claws as Kagura gave her a grin in return. "We shall see."

The wolf suddenly shouted, "Bolt bash!" She was gone within in an instant, appearing in front of Kagura. The woman gasped and dodged the girl's attack. Her punch cleared the sky above.

She plucked a feather from her head and made a tornado appear suddenly. Kyo became swept up in it, tumbling and crashing in the void of air.

Until she was unfortunate to hit her head on a rock, Kagura collected her feather and Kyo, placing her on the giant one she'd been riding upon.

"And so I win."

The wind demon flew off to present Naraku with his most awaited prisoner.

Shinto half expected her friend to be done now, but that was not the case. Instead, the time rolled on as the sun set behind the horizon. She became increasingly worried. She flew up and searched, covering as much of the area as possible.

Immdiealty she found the discarded basket with plants all over the ground. She had the same sense of smell as a human, so she wouldn't be able to pick up anyone's scent.

Shinto sighed and retreated to the hut, walking in with a worried expression. "Kyo is missing."

Inuyasha yawned, "have you checked where she was picking for herbs?"

Shinto blew a strand of hair away from her face. "Yes, but the basket was lying on its side. Maybe you can check if anybody was there with her, Inuyasha."

The dog demon felt quite surprised she was asking him for help. "Alright, I'll check it out." She ushered him impatiently to the spot.

"Alright! Alright! I'm going now; stop pushing!" He went to grab her wrists, but the moment he did, she flinched.

He backed up quickly. Both stared at each other for an awkward minute. She noticed his eyes go to the faint scar. "Ah, sniff!"

She pointed to nowhere, in particular, he raised a brow. "Sniff? Really?" He listened, sniffing the ground and scowling when he stood.

"So?" Shinto asked hurriedly.

"It smells of Naraku all over the place; I guess he wants her after you undid the spell on her mind."

Shinto was ready to find her, but Inuyasha held firm on her arm. "Let go!"

"No. It's no use going after Kyo if we don't know where she is. It's always near impossible to find his base."

She ran her hand through her hair, "are you telling me not to?"

"No, I'm not. I'm telling you, not now."
