"KYO!" Shinto called for her best friend in the blinding fog. All she received back was her voice as echoes. Shinto looked around, trying to find anything that would give her some sort of clue. Her eyes scanned over everything. She ran in every direction, but it was like running in circles.
Her desire to find and save Kyo got her lost; even now, Inuyasha was right, like most times.
Panic filled her chest, "why am I always unable to do anything?" Tears began to form, but she blinked them away as she sensed another person nearby.
"Why do you cry, angel? A pretty face like yours stained with tears is such a waste."
Shinto scowled, "who are you?! Did you take Kyo?!"
The strange lady with a dark blue, overgrown fringe chuckled. "Do I look like I have tentacles?"
"No. But you must be involved in her capture if you know what bound her."
"Oh yes. This was my brother's doing, of course; he has a fascination with beauty, and your friend just happened to catch his eye. Other than the fact it was convenient."
"Convenient, how?"
"Why to see you, of course, my brother would have taken you too, but I said no. For I aim to kill you, and it was easier to have you come here instead of me doing all the searching. Now that you're in my domain, I'm in full control."
With no warning, the enemy shot scalding hot water her way; Shinto dodged in time. "I don't want to fight; just give me back, Kyo."
"Because you can't fight? Or you don't want to?" Another jet of hot water came heading for her, Shinto ducked, but it just grazed her back. She bit her lip. If only there were someone around that could help...
"I won't ask again! Give me Kyo!" she shouted, anger rising inside her. She needed to get out of this alive.
"But I can't interrupt my brother and his fun. Otherwise, I'd get complaints. Flow'elk, why did you do this or that? I don't particularly appreciate whining. So if you wish to stay alive, then fight."
How was she supposed to? As an ordinary angel, she had no attacking powers.

"So we're supposed to get lost in the fog, but instead of getting stuck with Shinto, I end up stuck with you," Inuyasha complained.
"Aw, shut it, you mangy mutt; I'm not happy being paired with you either. But two noses are better than one nose; we'll find them both."
Inuyasha rolled his eyes, "what if I used my Wind Scar? I could try and clear the fog."
"Alright, give it a shot."
Inuyasha unsheathed his sword, swinging the blade as he shouted, "Wind Scar!" a powerful energy wave was released in a single sweep. The cloud began to churn and move, but not clearing as they wanted.
Instead, it moved around them in a raging wind; Inuyasha struck Tessaiga into the ground to prevent it from being blown away
Koga struggled to stay afoot, Inuyasha grabbed him by the shoulder to keep him standing.
Tessiga flew from the soil as another strong gust blew through the area. They were swept over the ground until they hit a tree, causing them to snap off and fall, landing on another tree before tumbling into several more. The wind had picked up, and now Koga and Inuyasha couldn't stand any longer.
As Tessaiga clattered next to them on the ground, they saw another blast headed straight for them. Before anything could happen, though, it passed harmlessly; a tiny hole suddenly opened in front of the tornado that blew past them.
