"Stop lingering around Kagome!"

The two canines were in each others faces, fangs bared and ready to spit fire at any moment. Koga put his hands on his hips and laughed, "ha! She's betrothed to be mine."

"When was that ever agreed? Plus Kyo's into you, you should be bothering her."

Koga tired to kick Inuyasha but the dog demon nimbly doged the attack. So the dog tackled Koga, getting into a scuffle with him.

"You aren't one to talk! You really seem to be close to that angel." He said as he attempted to smash his rival's face into the ground.

"It isn't like that between us!" Inuyasha yelled as he kicked Koga in the gut, sending him barrelling into a tree.

They ran towards one another and caught each other's fists. "Oh really? Her face said diffefent after the talk between you two."

"Shut up, you aren't any better. Kyo's been moping about for weeks. And it's all due to you."

Koga gritted his teeth and let go of Inuyasha. Sitting on the grass with a sigh through his nose. "I know. But you're the reason Shinto is doing the same."

Inuyasha's features took on a guilt ridden look as he sat beside Koga. "We're really bad friends aren't we?"

The wolf closed his eyes, "yeah..."

The air was silent between them for a bit until Koga spoke, "what did you even say to her?"

He seemed hesitant answer at first, "I...I told her we should part ways but she was welcome to stay. But it was goodbye between us."

Koga raised a brow, "did she say anything?"

Inuyasha shook his head, "no she just agreed."

Koga whacked Inuyasha over the back of the head, "ow the hell?!"

"If she agreed why would she be upset then?"

"I don't know, maybe she pitied me. I kinda cut her off when she spoke."

"Well there's your problem mongrel, you should let the lady speak." Inuyasha stared at the wolf.

"It would've only been negative, she hates me."

"Why would she hang around someone she hates?"

Inuyasha groaned, "because Kyo is here! Stop interrogating me."

Koga crossed his arms across his chest, "I'm not. I know your stupid so you don't always see what other people are feeling and assume things."

"But her devil half clearly shows it."

Koga nudged the dog and he raised a brow, "what now?"

"I think...we need to clear the air with them."

Inuyasha stared at the ground, "I already have."

"No. You haven't, come on."

"Let go dude!"
