As I left the OR, I headed to the toilet first before going to see everyone. Today has been a really busy day and I just need a minute to take everything in. As I walk into the Ladies toilets, I see Nat and Wanda, I offer them a smile and they smile back but something seems off.
Hey Dr. Fitzroy, are you ok? Nat is the first one to speak
'Yes thanks, the surgery went well. I was just on my way to update you guys.' I answer
'Good thank you. Can I ask you a question?' Wanda asks walking closer to me and walking past Nat
'Yes of course, is there something wrong?'
'Yes, actually there is ... with you' Nat answers my previous question. I am so confused what the hell have I done. I have never met them before so I could I have done anything wrong
'I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean?'
'You know exactly what we mean.' Wanda answers trying to intimidating me by getting closer to me. After being kidnapped by Hydra nothing can intimidate or scare me especially not Wanda
'I really don't' I am so confused right now
'How about we jog your memory?' Nat finally talks again
'You with Tony Stark, holding his hand.' Wanda sternly states. I still don't quite understand. Then Nat says 'We saw it so don't even think of denying of it. Do you even now that he is married?' Then it clicks, they must have seen Dad and me walking to the cafeteria earlier and jumped to the completely wrong conclusion
'Are you being serious right now! Have you spoken to him about this?' I say angrier and louder than intended
'No' Nat answers honestly and quickly
'Well maybe you should. You know for super spies and assassins; you really missed the mark. And for your information, I know he is married because he is my Dad and Pepper is my Stepmom. Now if you will excuse me, I am going to tell everyone that your friend is ok.' They both look taken a back and confused but also mortified that they jumped to the wrong understanding
'Oh Dr Fitzroy, we didn't know. I am sorry' Wanda says and Nat just nods and offer me a smile
'It is ok, just ask next time do your research or do the normal thing and ask' On that note I leave and get my phone out to tell Dad what just happened. I think it is about time he told the Avengers about me.
