18. "Dinner"

Chapter 18

Present day

Natalie

I stared in awe as I drove in the gates. The house looks so beautiful from afar and even better, up close. It's a great work of art.

After packing in the underground garage, as directed by the security guard, I got out of the car, then took a little pause to take in the sight in front of me.

There were so many dream cars...like literally all of 'em. Well, the Sandersons' have always been able to boast of an impressive good car collection, so no suprise here.

I walked out and am now in front of the main door. I pressed the little bell like button by the door..and I heard a voice over the speaker. "Natalie, is that you?" Isaac asks.

I smiled. "Yea."

"Come in." I heard him say, and almost immediately, the door automatically opened.

Wow!

And I thought the outer structure was beautiful.

This is perfect. Honestly, staring at this, I'm out of adjectives to describe it..you just have to know it's awesome.

I was slightly startled when someone suddenly stands in front of me and says, "I'll take your coat, ma'am." It was a young lady wearing an apron over a short gown.

"Okay. " I muttered and took off my jacket, and handed them over. "Thanks." I said and she politely smiled and went away.

Just then, I heard footsteps approaching me. "Hey." Issac says from afar, and I smiled, as I walked towards him.

"Hi." I smiled and we hugged.

"It's good to see you."

"You too." I smiled as we pulled away and stared at the woman beside him.

"This is my girlfriend, Thelma."

"Oh...Hi, Thelma I am...."

"Natalie Bryce." She completes with a smile as she shook my hands. My face held a confused expression.

"I have heard so so much about you." Her eyes unconsciously did a '360' when she said that. "It's nice to finally put a face to the name." She completes with a grin.

Expressing my suprise with a smile, I said, "Wow, I..well..I look forward to hearing so much about you too." I replied and we all chuckled.

"That dress looks beautiful on you by the way." I complimented.

"Oh.." She tuck her hair behind her ear,  revealing her dimple as she said, " Thank you."

"Told you she was a charmer." Issac says, and my smile was still as vibrant.

"Please come in." He ushers , and held his girlfriend's hand as they led me inside.

"This is a beautiful home you've got here, Issac." I said, still staring around in awe as we walked through the seemingly gigantic corridor.

"Oh...this?" He says, using his hands to gesticulate. "This is not mine. This is all Samuel's."

Oh.. now that explains alot.

"Mom..is so exicted to see you again."

"Where is she?"

"Oh she should be..."

"Natalie." Someone interrupts, and realising who it was, a smile instantly graced my face, as I turned around and stared at her as she stands at the other end of the stairs.
