Natalie

What will you discuss on a double date with your ex-husband, your new man, and a woman you haven't yet met?

I sighed and forced a smile as we saw them in the corner of the room.

"Hey."

"Hi," Sam says and hugs me. "You look great."

"Thanks. So do you." I complimented back and he smiled.

"Henry."

"Sam." They acknowledged each other with a handshake.

I was surprised to see Amanda as Sam's date

Wait, does that mean that they are dating now?

"Hi, Amanda." I smiled. She was looking pretty in a beautiful black gown that was emphasizing her curves and beautiful body shape properly.

"Hi, darling. Don't you look gorgeous?" She gave me a sweet smile.

"Thanks. I was just going to say the same."

"Well, I guess great minds think alike." She smiles and stares at Henry.

"Right. Henry, this is Amanda. Amanda, Henry." I introduced.

"Good to meet you."

"Pleasure is all mine." Henry charmingly responded.

"I thought you two weren't dating?" I question after we all settled in our seats.

"Are we?" Amanda questions and they both stared at me.

"Well, Sam said he'll be bringing his girlfriend."

"Did he now?" She stares at Sam, amusingly.

"No. I meant a work friend."

"Okay." That's not what he said.

"Let's order," Sam suggests.

"Yes, please. I'm starving." I admitted and Henry called for the waiter.

"I'll have the barbecued chicken with a glass of champagne. Thank you." I said, and he nodded while noting it down.

"Will you also have chicken, sir?"

"No. He is a vegetarian."I replied, politely to the waiter, and Henry smiles at me.

"I'll just have the Risotto." He concludes, dropping the very big menu on the table.

"What will you have, ma'am?"

"Oh, I know...I'll have that very expensive fish soup. My friend, Beth was here last month for her anniversary dinner and she recommends it's their specialty." Amanda excitedly remarks.

"And you, sir?"

"I will have the Parmesan Polenta with Lemon & Sage Steaks." He says, and the waiter noted it down before walking away.

"How did you guys meet?" Amanda asks as we were served a dessert menu.

"In school. We all met in school." Henry replies.

"All? Wait... Sam too?"

"Yeah." He replies.

"Wow. I didn't know you two have known each other for that long." Amanda stares at Natalie, then at me, and while I know there were a thousand questions on her mind, I just shrug in response.
