(Narrator's pov)
In just five days Paris would become a battle field and yet everyone acted as if nothing was wrong, there was no akuma attacks, the mysterious rocks had not grown in days, and everyone seemed normal and happy. Marinette noticed all the bangles wrapped around each of her friends and smiled knowing that they'd be by her side but she realized that you had turned right back to your old cold self. You didn't talk to anyone, your presence was hardly noticed at all, your illness was finally taking its toll on you but you just couldn't bring yourself to ask for help."Hey Mari how're things between the lovers going?", Alya asked hoping to hear some good news.
Marinette sighed and shook her head as she flashed Luka a sad smile from across the courtyard, "They haven't spoken to each other, (Y/n) avoids him and Luka's furious for her betraying him the way she did. I destroyed their happiness."
Alya gently squeezed her friend's shoulder to try and cheer her up, they were distracted by a high pitched scream that could only be recognized as Layla's. Everyone noticed you and Layla by the staircase, Layla was on the ground shaking making herself the victim as usual. You growled in annoyance obviously not amused by her usual tricks, the teachers and principal all rushed to Layla's side and she accused you of pushing her down the stairs and spraining her leg.
"S-she's a danger! Oh my leg, I think you might of broken it.", she faked cried making several of the stupid scoff in disgust.
Layla was manipulative but some of the students had already caught on to her tricks, "Where exactly is your leg broken?", The principal asked carefully inspecting her leg for any protruding bumps she might've had.
"I think she broke my Tibia, oh I'm in so much pain you evil monster how could you?", she cried holding her leg that moved perfectly.
You sighed and squatted down next to her surprising everyone by grabbing her leg, you gripped her ankle and knee tightly and in one swift movement of your arms an unnerving pop echoed across the whole school, everyone fell silent and Layla trembled in shock seeing her leg bone pop out of her skin, "Hmm funny if your leg was broken that should've popped the bone back together, looks like I actually broke it now.", you chuckled darkly watching the teachers panic around you.
Everyone in the courtyard screamed upon seeing what you had done but you didn't seem the least bit remorseful. Layla fainted from the shock of her now broken leg and the teachers worked fast to get her to the hospital.
"Young lady don't you dare move a muscle, this is assault and you will be arrested for it!", Principal Damocles shouted at you but you ignored his threat.
You didn't bother staying, this was your final plan to destroy what little of your life remained, with Layla now out of the picture Hawkmoth no longer had a spy in your school and nobody to instigate Akumatizations. You walked off of school campus and disappeared like nothing leaving everyone in shock to what had just happened. Marinette and all your friends tried to get in contact with you but nobody could get in contact with you.
(Y/n's pov)
"Master you broke her Tibia! That girl won't be able to recover for months why would you do something so evil?", Ginn screamed at me from my spot in the cold bath.I couldn't feel anything anymore, my body felt numb, and yet somehow my heart was still beating despite how weak I felt.
"I had to take her out, she was a threat. If she wanted to pin the school against me I had to give them an actual reason didn't I?", I responded staring up at the tile ceiling of my bathroom.
I could barely make out the color, my mind was slowly decaying and yet somehow I was still able to function. This was suffering, this was a pain I absolutely feared.
"Yes master I understand that but that was far to drastic, what will the others think of you now?", Ginn huffed folding his little arms against his chest in frustration.
"I could care less what they think of me, in just a few days I'll be nothing more than a forgotten memory to them."
I stood up and got out of the bath, I stood in front of the mirror staring at my reflection and chuckled, I grabbed a pair of scissors and slowly started to cut away at my hair much to Ginn's concern. Slowly but surely I cut away my hair until I was left with the same haircut my mother had when she faced Hawkmoth, I'd make sure to go out with a bang and let Hawkmoth struggle against his past.
"Ginn I think the only one I have left to say goodbye to is you.", I smiled throwing on my clothes, the small grey wolf landed in my hands and stared at me with tearful eyes.
"Don't think about that Master, I'll be by your side the rest of your journey. When you die, I will perish with you, the curse of my miraculous has finally drained me of all my life force.", Ginn whispered to you gently touching your cheek with his small paw.
"Funny thinking you little kwamis were supposed to be these immortal all knowing and all powerful beings.", you teased collapsing on your bed.
You both laid in bed quietly enjoying what little peace you had left together, but Ginn was still curious of something.
"What was your vision like?"
You sighed keeping your eyes closed and remembering all the visions you'd seen lately, "I see a white light, and all the Howl's of the past circling around me with sad smiles on their faces. They all look up into the sky and begin howling as if they're mourning for me. I see my mother waiting for me and then...nothing. I can hear voices but I think they're just the voices of my friends but I don't want them to see me die. I've got a plan to keep them away so I can take on Hawkmoth alone."
Ginn stares at you with worry written all over his face, you won't be at your best when the final battle comes but he'd make up for what you lacked. No matter what you two were in this together.
"Maybe the past Howl's will protect you and let you live on. You are the youngest to ever take on the responsibility of my miraculous so maybe some higher being is going to protect you and give you a second chance.", Ginn was hopeful but you knew that wouldn't happen.
"I love you Ginn.", you smiled falling asleep from exhaustion.
"And I love you little wolf cub.", Ginn stared out at the night sky and silently cried, "Please Masters don't take this young cub away from me. I can't bare to lose her like I lost all of you. She's still so young... she has a life to live and people that care for her. Please...please."
Paris was silent that night, the heroes were ready for their final fight but so was their enemy.
