(Narrator's pov)
After the incident with the shark akuma Luka was worried sick for you. He couldn't find you anywhere as Viperion and he was even more worried when you didn't answer his calls. Once he had gotten home he had begged Juleka to take him to your apartment, Juleka was hesitant but also worried so she did as told. Once Luka got to your apartment he didn't hear a thing, Juleka was busy looking for your spare key to open the door.

"Why would she run away? She was safe on the ship with you and Mom, damnit I should've been watching her.", Luka sighed clenching his fists in frustration.

Juleka quickly slapped his cheeks distracting his negative emotions before an Akuma could show up. She had found your spare key and opened the door, Luka quickly entered your home and began to call your name searching every room for you. Of course you heard them but you were to busy coughing up blood right now to see them. Even if Master Fu's potion was enough to stabilize you for the time being it wasn't enough to completely stop the effects. You heard the door knob jiggle but you had locked it beforehand in case someone came looking for you.

"(Y/n)? (Y/n) are you there?! Is everything okay, it's me Luka!", The voice cried from the other side of the door.

You tried to stop your coughing fit but it was no use the blood just kept coming, you just have to wait it out and hope they leave.

"L-luka... I'm fine! Sorry to worry you, I got scared on the boat because of the Akuma and ended up running away.", You lied hoping it'd be enough to reassure him.

"But you're okay right?! You didn't get hurt did you?", He continued probing you for more answers.

"Luka I'm fine, I wasn't hurt, I made it home safe, Ladybug and her friends saved the day again. It's all good, now can you please go home.", You growled trying to hold your temper as your body started to settle.

"Luka let's leave her alone, she's probably just traumatized from her past incidents with akumas so let's not push her to much.", Juleka's soft voice added from the other side of the door.

You struggled to stay quiet, you prayed that they hadn't heard you from the other side of the door, Luka called for you one last time and insisted that you'd call him if you needed anything. You agreed to his demands and waited until you couldn't hear them anymore to leave the bathroom. Ginn emerged from your hoodie and frowned seeing the mess he had caused you through his abilities.

"You stay strong even as death draws closer to you, your mother would hate me for everything I have put you through.", Ginn sighed healing your body with his powers just to ease your pain.

You smiled at the small gray Kwami and held him against your cheek sweetly, you know it was hard on him sometimes but you've been through worse with him.

"Ginn, my mother failed to end the curse on your miraculous, but I won't. When you find the next Howl, you won't have to worry about them dying when they need you. I promise.", You smiled resting your forehead against his.

The little Kwami began to cry wishing that he wouldn't be the cause of your death, the world deserved someone as wonderful as you. You decided to rest early today had been stressful on your body and you still had a long way to go before your mission was to be completed. Hopefully tomorrow wouldn't be as bad as today was.

~The next day~
Luka was a bit on edge after yesterday so he waited patiently for you at the gate of the school, that was until you texted him that you wouldn't be going. He was worried about you and wanted to text you but all day teachers had dropped heavy lessons and pop quizzes that kept him from doing so. Maybe your truama from the Akuma attack was worse then he thought.

"Come on stupid clock, ring already so we can go to lunch.", Luka fumed tapping his pencil wildly against his desk until the teacher yelled at him to stop.

When the bell rang he was the first student out the door, he pulled out his phone and called you hoping that you'd answer.

"Hello."

"Hey, why didn't you come to school?"

"Oh I'm at the hospital."

Luka's heart sank hearing those words, "Wait, hospital? What for, are you okay?"

"Luka I'm fine. Don't worry about me, it's just a routine check up so my doctor can check if I'm okay.", You tried to sound reassuring but from Luka's small whines you could tell he wasn't convinced, "It's just to check if my blood is okay, I have this hereditary condition that liquifies my blood and creates dark spots over my body so I came to make sure I was okay that's all."

"Are you sure? I'm just worried about you, you've been a little strange since yesterday and I want to make sure you're okay.", Luka sighed.

"I'm fine Luka. I'll come visit you after school if it'll make you feel better, okay?"

Luka mumbled a soft okay before you said goodbye and hung up, Luka wasn't all to convinced but he'd take your word for it. If you were going to visit then he'd make sure that you'd be okay when you were in his arms. He texted his mom to make something special tonight since you'd be coming over and hoped that you'd stay the night. Luka was uneasy, he felt a bad string playing in his heart and he was unsure of what to do about it. Was he just scared? Or was something big going to happen? Who knows but hopefully he could protect you this time.

"Hey Luka you okay? You don't look to good.", A voice called pulling him out of his train of thought.

He relaxed seeing Adrien standing there by his side and ruffled his blonde hair as a hello. Luka insisted that he was fine and Adrien began looking out over the courtyard.

"Is (y/n) absent again?", He asked hoping to find you somewhere.

"Yeah, she had a doctor's appointment today."

"Oh...I wanted to show her a picture of my mom. The other day we got lost in a conversation about our parents and she really seemed to like the stories about my mom. She's very sweet, very understanding to, make sure you watch over her okay. (Y/n) doesn't have parents but at least you love her so she has someone by her side.", Adrien smiled.

"Yeah... Thank Adrien I'll tell her you said hi."

Adrien smiled and wandered off to the cafeteria to eat, to bad a certain someone had listened to the whole conversation with a new plot in mind.

"A silent, parentless freak talking to my little Adrien. I don't think so, with some persuading I'm sure she'd be a great Akuma.", Lila chuckled.
