Count Down: Monkey King and Pegasus

(Narrators pov)
Blue hues glared angrily at you, even with a smile on your face your inner wolf was on high alert due to Luka's sudden attitude change. He must've found something out and your lies were only burying you deeper. How could you explain this to him, especially since he had read your diagnostic report at the hospital?

"So you're positive you're alright? You're not feeling weak or coughing? You're not throwing up blood or blood's running cold?", Luka asked glaring into your eyes as if searching for a single shimmer of lie that might he held in your (e/c) jewels.

Your eyelids softly closed and you shook your head no, he was on to something and you hoped that he would never find out about your unavoidable fate. The bell for class rung and thankfully it was a class you both didn't share together, "Don't worry about me Luka I'm feeling completely better! I'll see you later bye!", you cheered running away from him before he could interrogate you further.

You growled under your breath, in just a few more days the battle would begin and you hadn't even collected enough miraculous holders to help you. Your goal was to get to Hawkmoth and Mayura and without enough help you wouldn't make it, and because Marinette insisted it you would soon have to face Luka and ask for his aide in the fight but would he actually trust Howl?

"Master, control your emotions.", Ginn growled.

You sighed and continued on with your school day until it was time to go home, Luka had left ahead of you so you stayed behind to speak with Adrien about the new heroes that were to be recruited, several students in his class showed great promise for the unclaimed miraculous and soon they'd be given the choice to take on the responsibility, just ten more days and Paris would be in turmoil.

"What about the other two that already have their Miraculous? Do I give them their bangles or not?", you asked staring at the two white bands that hung off your wrist.

"Kim and Max are more then capable, we'll be bringing Viperion along tonight too."

Adrien's eyes quickly stared behind him, you had stopped, you were in emotional turmoil would Luka notice you now that he was questioning you? What were you to do? Adrien sighed and walked towards you softly slapping his hands against your cheeks to get you to look up at him, "Everything will be alright, you'll pull through this and we'll save Paris.", the blonde teen cheered.

You smiled softly at him as his image went blurry, you had begun to cry. The tears wouldn't stop even while you tried wipe them away. You were stressed, you were scared, you felt hopeless, even with your friends putting their trust in you you felt alone because of your fate. Adrien was sympathetic he understood your pain but nothing he could say or do could make you feel better. He hugged you tightly being your shoulder to cry on until you were disturbed by his phone ringing. He checked his notification and received a text from an anonymous person saying 'It's time Kitty, the zodiac is coming. -LB'. You sniffled quietly in front of him, your sleeves quickly wiped away your tears as you took a deep breath to calm your nerves.

"Showtime Puppy.", he chuckled.

You nodded and quietly raced him to a nearby alley way where you both transformed. He noticed something strange about your movements, you had become more dog like then human, running on all fours like a wolf in a hunt. Your tail and ears now appeared far more realistic than before, was this an effect from your curse? Your (e/c) hues could see a familiar green suit from afar and you sighed realizing that Viperion had indeed showed up. Both of your feet had skidded against the ground during your landing kicking up dust behind you, you took your spot next to Ladybug and hung your head mostly to avoid Viperion's glare.

"Max, Kim, we are about to go into battle in just a few short days again Hawkmoth. We need both of you in order to protect Paris, please we ask that you join us in defending our home.", Ladybug pleaded softly extending both of their Miraculous to them.

They seemed alright with the idea but then Viperion had to say something, "Ladybug, I'm sorry but I don't want to join in on this mission, not unless you promise me something.", he growled glaring at the spotted clad hero.

His green hues quickly glared at you making you jump in fright, your ears and tail hung down like a scared dog's, "Unless I know those I care about will be safe, especially from the mutt standing next to you.", he growled unaware of the sting your heart had taken from his words.

"I-I assure you that your family will be safe. I won't involve them and w-we'll make sure the city is evacuated before anything serious happens.",  you stuttered trying to keep a straight face.

Viperion didn't look all to convinced but he quickly turned his attention towards Ladybug, "And don't you even think about giving the mouse miraculous back to (Y/n) she's not fit to be a hero anymore."

"Back off Snake boy, you're getting out of line!", Chat hissed at his angry comrade raising the tension between everyone until an awkward squeak from a toy sounded.

You all looked over at the now transformed heroes who smiled at you, "Looks like you all need to take a chill pill and remember what's important right now.", King Monkey chuckled squeezing his manifested toy in his hand.

"Everything will be fine, there's no reason to start a civil war between ourselves when we need each other more then ever, besides my calculations state that together we have a 72% chance of winning and beating Hawkmoth, the other 28% being if we were to lose allies or man power and letting Hawkmoth get the upper hand but-"

"What Pegasus means to say is that together we aren't gonna lose and we'll save our home."

You smiled at the two heroes and hugged them close much to their embarrassment, their cheeks flushed red but they both cheerfully hugged back. Everything would be fine, everything would go as planned. Viperion growled under his breath but Ladybug wasn't going to let his sour attitude hide his doubts and fears. She softly squeezed his shoulder offering him a kind smile, "Everyone will be fine Viperion, I won't involve (Y/n), she's been through enough. Now it's our turn to protect her like she's protected all of us."

The green eyed hero sighed and nodded, it was time for him to leave. He needed to get rid of the ugly melody playing in his heart and focus on what was ahead of him. Everything would be okay, right?
