Despite the cries of agony and sorrow behind him Gabriel couldn't help but smile to the return of his beautiful wife. She was alive...alive and well just like you'd promised, but it was her expression that reminded him of who the true monster was. Her gorgeous emerald hues shrunk in fear seeing the young girl unconscious on the floor surrounded by young children her age. They were all in tears each one begging you to wake up.
"G-Gabriel what happened? That girl...i-is she dead?", she asked in a panic unable to stand on her own to feet after her long slumber.
"It matters not my love, all that matters is that you are here with us again...with me.", Gabriel smiled kissing her head softly.
Emilie noticed a young blonde haired boy that reminded her so much of her son crying while holding your cold hand. He begged, shouted, screamed for you to wake up, "(Y/n) please! Anyone but you, please take me instead, it's all my fault!", he cried clutching your hand tightly in his. Marinette's miraculous timed out without her using her lucky charm meaning she had no real power to help you, it was a bitter reminder that she was only human.
Everyone mourned you, crying over your lifeless corpse. Luka couldn't bring himself to get close, he had to stay back, he had to lie to himself that you'd get up and come back home with him just like before, but it wasn't that simple...it never would be.
"Please...please why her? What did she do to deserve this?", he sobbed, covering his soft blue eyes as tears began to fall. It was an utterly heartbreaking scene but the Kwamis knew that something far worse was coming. The all gather around your corpse waiting for their brother to emerge, a soft grey light flowed over your heart replacing itself with Ginn. Now weakened and broken Ginn was ready to accept his fate with you, "Brother, it is time to return home.", Plagg spoke, gently tapping the small wolf kwami on his cheek.
Ginn shook his head, pointing to his crumbling miraculous that still rested against your ear.
"It is time my family, the miraculous of the wolf is no longer needed. I'm sorry...for all the pain I've caused you.", he sighed growing weaker by the second.
"Oh Ginn not you too.", Chloe sobbed.
Ginn smiled and gently nodded resting his head against your silent heart, "I have no home but by my master's side. Where she goes I will follow.", He smiled slowly beginning to fade into small partials of light.
The kwamis all began to cry, they were unsure why they were sad, but kwamis were supposed to be immortal...so seeing their brother die was nothing short of heartbreaking. Emilie recognized the brooch on your chest and froze where she stood, the miraculous that she'd hurt so many lives with was right before her.
"G-Gabriel what is that? Why does she have that miraculous? Is that why she's hurt? You gave her the peacock miraculous how could you?!", Emelie shouted, Natalie sighed and gently pulled her friend away from Gabriel.
Before Ginn could pass away Marinette stepped forward to leave him with one last bit of news, "Ginn, you may not have ever known this but Master Fu told me why you were created all those generations ago. You and all the Howls before this were Guardians of Serenity, you were created to help bring peace...e-even now...after everything you two have brought peace to Paris. I'm sorry I caused you both so much pain.", Marinette finally broke down, crying as the little kwami smiled at her and faded away.
"Oh (y/n)."
"Why her?"
"No this can't be real."
"Why couldn't we save her?"
"(Y/n)."
You were gone, just like the Howls before you. The miraculous of the wolf was no more and now you were all that remained of it so why...why did your journey still continue. A higher being called to Fluff forcing her to use her powers without her Master, a burrow opened beneath you almost dragging everyone along if it hadn't been for Master Fu catching all of them. The children were all shocked to see the old man but he was merely there to take back the miraculous Hawkmoth had stolen all those years ago. He noticed Emelie alive and well and simply bowed his head to her, "Seems my granddaughter made the ultimate sacrifice for you...make sure you cherish it for a child's life was taken from her in order to bring that woman back."
