The tension in the air was almost suffocating to all citizens of Paris, through a voice recording Ladybug explained everything that was happening in the once peaceful city. Many saw it as a message of hope, knowing that Ladybug and her team would save them all but for others it was a reminder that life would never be the same. No one had seen you since the incident with Lila at school, you were on everyone's mind especially Luka's. He was afraid he wouldn't see you on the final day, he was afraid you were already gone and no one would even know. Gizmo was entrusted to your Grandfather Fu to help him through the pain, but that was the last anyone saw of you.

Marinette gave the okay for everyone to show themselves to their parents, at least they'd know why they couldn't evacuate with the others. Many people fled the city with the hopes of coming home to a peaceful victory but no one was sure of what the outcome would be.

"Tikki, spots on."

The familiar pinkish red glow filled the bakery, the small gasp from her mother was all that sounded from both of her parents. Marinette was afraid to open her eyes and see their expressions but she had to nonetheless. Both her parents were shocked, naturally, but neither seemed mad or surprised.

"I always knew my little girl was special, just didn't know she was special enough to be the brilliant superhero that's been protecting us all this time.", Her father chuckled pulling Marinette into a hug.

She couldn't help but cry, she was so worried for what was to come but at least her parents would be safe. They would evacuate with Grandma and Grandpa and wait to come home, they knew Marinette would bring peace to the city because she had proven herself a great hero. That night Marinette sat atop her rooftop and stared at the stars, she felt lonely but thankfully a lonely cat decided to visit her. Chat was still the only hero who's identity she didn't know, she didn't call for him to join them that night of the reveal. Yet she trusted him the most.

"Hey kitty."

"Hello milady, how was it?"

"My parents took it surprisingly well, they've already evacuated. How about you?", Ladybug sighed.

Chat looked a bit conflicted, "I couldn't bring myself to tell my father. Just didn't seem like something I could trust him with."

Ladybug frowned a bit to his response but recognized the sadness aching in her partner's heart. She stood up and embraced him, ensuring him that it would all be okay. Chat hugged back just as tight, trembling in her arms out of fear, "We'll all get out of this and when we do let's all go out together as friends.", Chat suggested.

Ladybug nodded her smile fading as the ground began to shake, the rocks that had been plaguing Paris had finally began to erupt from the ground. Piercing into the sky, glowing an ominous purple hue, Ladybug called all the heroes to join her immediately. Once her team had arrived she smiled but she couldn't help but feel a pain in her heart noticing the missing wolf of her pack.

"I hope she doesn't show.", Queen Bee whispered, holding herself in her own arms.

Everyone was a bit sympathetic of your situation but it wouldn't be a party without you, Chat was the first to notice you running across the rooftops, he pointed towards you and everyone frowned. Soon enough you had gracefully landed just in front of all of them, your appearance had changed drastically since they last saw you. Your suit was completely black, tail fluffier than ever, eyes a piercing orange instead of their usual (e/c) color, and (h/c) hair now shorter and the tips bled into a ghostly white.

"Showtime ladies and gents.", you hummed, your voice sounded so much more mature than before but everyone noticed how tired you sounded.

"Howl, please...sit this out. I'm afraid what will happen to you if you don't.", Chat begged you softly, trying to snatch your miraculous away from your ear, you sighed as you caught his wrist and stepped away from him.

"Sorry kitty cat but this is what I was born for. I'm stopping Hawkmoth tonight and it's either you help me or stay out of my way."

Everyone could see how determined you were and ultimately, with a heavy heart, Ladybug agreed to let you fight. A hologram of Hawkmoth appeared in the sky of Paris cackling down at the heroes waiting to save their home.

"The day has finally come, my dream will finally come true. Ladybug, you will not win. I will take your miraculous and everything will be made to fit my version of a perfect world. Say goodbye to your Miraculous, your home, and your loved ones!", Hawkmoth chuckled lifting his arms and activating the glowing rocks. From their light akumas began to emerge and fill the sky, tainting any innocents that dared run from them.

"Ladybug, Chat Noir, here. These are for you.", you smiled, handing both of them their own bangles made from the fur of your tail.

"Howl we don't need these."

You smiled and looked to the moon in the sky, releasing a single saddened howl, all the bangles began to glow resonating the same sound you had just made. You smiled, the steaks of white in your hair growing as a result of your overuse of energy.

"As long as I'm active, these bangles will allow you all to use your abilities without needing to rest. It's my final gift to all of you, now let's go save our home.", you smiled pulling out your bow and shooting down a small cluster of akumas.

Everyone took your lead, all of them hopping off the rooftop and rushing to aide the remaining citizens, for a moment you hesitated, looking back to see Viperion suffering in his own guilt.

"Luka.", you softly called, "I love you."

One last time Viperion watched as you turned your back on him and accepted your fate, he'd lose you tonight but the least he could do was help you save Paris even if you wouldn't be able to see it. At least he could enjoy those sweet words one final time.
