Count Down: Rena Rogue and Carapace

(Narrator's pov)
After the incident with Mayura Paris seemed ominously quiet but it was no excuse to not stay on guard. Training the new miraculous holders was an urgent matter but thankfully Marinette had already entrusted several friends with a miraculous now it was time to see if they would help Paris in its time of need. She easily found her friends Alya and Nino and brought them both to the top of the Eiffel Tower.

"Hey Lb it's been a while.", Nino chuckled enjoying the view of the city.

"It's been calm lately why would you need us today?", Alya asked curiously trying to get a good look at her face.

Even after all this time she was dying to know who Ladybug was but that staring contest didn't last for long once a loud thud sounded from the railing by Nino. The young teen was left jaw dropped since he had just came face to face with the illusive Howl, you gave him a toothy grin and lifted his chin up with your index finger to close his mouth before giving him a gentle pat on the head.

"No way.", Alya gasped softly.

You turned towards her with a smile before hopping over to Ladybug's side to get down to business.

"Hey bugaboo am I late?", Chat purred arriving just seconds after your landing.

"The gangs all here, Alya, Nino, I have something to ask of you.", Ladybug began extending her hand out to each miraculous holder with their miraculous boxes, "In fourteen days time Paris will be going into battle against Hawkmoth. We miraculous holders need help from you both and the other miraculous holders if we're going to protect Paris and defeat Hawkmoth. If you don't want to take the risk I understand but please we need your help. So will you permanently take your miraculous and aid us in the final battle?"

You noticed a fiery passion in both of their eyes and smiled realizing that Ladybug had made a great choice in these two allies. They both took their miraculous boxes and put on their respected charms as their Kwamis floated by them. Little Wayzz stared at you in shock obviously knowing who you were and as for Trixx he growled at you obviously to young to know your history.

"It's good to see you again old friend.", you hummed to Wayzz extending your hand for him to land on it.

"Never did I think I'd get the chance to see you again.", Wayzz cried hugging your face softly as tears fell from his little eyes, "I'm so glad to see that you are safe and alive."

Trixx seemed to calm down seeing Wayzz trust you, the little fox floated towards you and gave a small bow of respect before returning to his Master's side.

"We don't have a lot of time. The Kwamis know of me and my past and much of it I have been an outcast or a villain but thankfully in this generation I was born a hero. I want to right the wrongs of my ancestors and save the lost Kwamis before it's too late so please help us.", you begged bowing towards both teens.

Alya squatted down time see your face and lifted your chin signaling for you to stand tall. She held your hand tightly and smiled and Nino did the same, "No matter what anyone's says we know that you aren't bad. We trust you knowing that Ladybug trusts you. We'll help you in this fight. Trixx, let's pounce!"

"Wayzz, Shell on!"

You watched as both of them transformed in front of you and smiled realizing just how much these two heroes cared for their home and their people. Ladybug smiled resting her hand on your shoulder and nodded at her two friends, "Remember the time limit you have, we will provide you with any help you need but you both need to start training for any situation. We have to gather the other miraculous holders but if you can train together until then then I'm sure you'll both be ready for the fight."

Rena Rogue and Carapace smiled and nodded their heads, this battle was to protect Paris and as a team you all knew that together you could do it.

"Wait I have one more thing for you.", you exclaimed you gently pulled to long pieces of fur from your tail and to everyone's amazement they turned into white bracelets covered in strange Chinese markings, "To my understanding you've been akumatized before these bands will summon an illusionary version of your akumatized forms to help in training if you chose to use them. If not then these bracelets will act as deterrents for the akumas or rocks emerging over the city."

Alya and Nino released their transformations and put on the bands without hesitation leaving a warm feeling in your chest, never once had you been trusted by strangers but you were thankful for their help.

"Don't worry we won't let you down, we won't let any of you down.", Nino huffed confidently.

The moment was soft and heartfelt almost bringing you to tears but then a loud roar from the park caught all of your attention. Chat hopped onto the railing peering over the city until he noticed a red villain attacking the park, "Well so much for a peaceful day.", he sighed.

Alya and Nino smiled and quickly changed back into their hero forms before rushing ahead of the others. Practice made perfect, this villain would go down and they'd do some training in the process. Chat followed along leaving you alone with Ladybug.

"You have some wonderful friends.", you hummed releasing your transformation as you began to feint.

Ladybug held you up by your arm and smiled sadly at you, "Go home and rest, you need it. The less we have you exerting yourself the stronger you'll be for the real battle."

You sighed and nodded your head shooing her away in order to help out her friends. You held yourself for a moment looking up at the sunny sky with hazy (e/c) hues. Your time was coming to an end soon but not until Nooroo and Duusu we're back home and everything was made right.
