COUNTDOWN: Final Rush

Time was running out, our team needed to be ready before Hawkmoth made his move! I decided to take it upon myself to find the rest of the miraculous holders. Many of my classmates showed great promise of being heroes and many of the Kwami's helped me in making my final choices. I couldn't stress (Y/n) out anymore then I already had so I had to do this alone. I had already devised a plan to make up for this small secret project, now all I had to do was find the heroes we'd need. Stompp, the ox Kwami, was entrusted to Ivan Bruel. Ivan was reliable, strong, and fair, which made me confident in choosing him as Stompp's owner. Through Ivan I was able to quickly find the perfect holder for Mullo, the mouse miraculous, I entrusted Mylene Haprele with the mischievous kwami. Mylene was a scaredy cat but she was was brave and courageous in her own special way. The next two heroes were just as easy to track down, during an akuma attack these two protected not only the citizens but also me, with their help I was able to defeat the Akuma and find two more allies for the impending war.

Orikko the rooster kwami, fancied Nathaniel Kurtzburg for how observant and determined he was to protect those around him. Ziggy the goat kwami, bonded with Marc Anciel because of his gentleness and kind heart. Both of them worked beautifully together so it seemed fair that they got their kwamis together.

The next pair were a couple I almost feared seeking help from. Juleka and Rose, they were dear to my heart and I'd do anything to protect them but they were perfect for this mission. I knew Luka would have a fit with me for breaking my promise and involving Juleka but the fate of Paris was at stake here I had to risk. Roarr the tiger Kwami, brought out a side of Juleka I had never seen before. Juleka was truly a brave and confident girl given the right motivation and the control she had over her powers  was incredible. Daizzi the pig miraculous, was a perfect match for Rose. Rose was pure, generous, sincere, and compassionate, and her presence would be a true gift to have on the battle field. Just like the others before them they too were ready to fight to protect their home and loved ones.

That left just two more, thankfully due to a past akuma attack I already knew who Fluff belonged to. Alix was so excited to finally receive her miraculous, but I did remind her that it was important to use her powers for good. Alix knew that being given her miraculous meant something important was coming soon and once she knew of Hawkmoth's attack she agreed to do her best with the abilities I'd given her. Now only Barkk remained, Barkk could certainly be a bit difficult at times but based off her personally alone I had the perfect owner in mind for her. Sabrina Raincomprix, was loyal and obedient, obviously from how dedicated she was to Chloe but those traits mixed with Barkk's strong sense of duty and protectiveness could prove to be a great asset to us. Sabrina had the most emotional reaction to receiving a miraculous out of everyone but she calmed down once I explained why I'd entrusted her with her miraculous. She was prepared to give her all for her friends and family, now we were ready.

All of the miraculous were entrusted to good people that I knew wouldn't let us down, now it was time for everyone to meet one final time before the main event. All of the new miraculous holders were already waiting for me at our designated meeting place just as I had instructed them when I had given them their miraculous. Slowly one by one the older miraculous holders met with us and each were noticeably shocked by all the new faces behind me.

"Okay Lb I'm here what is it you want-oh.", Howl was the last to arrive, and her reaction was much more concerning then the others.

"Everyone, our team is ready. I know I should've spoken with you more before handing out the rest of the Miraculous but I trust these Holders with all my heart and they are well aware of what is ahead of us.", I started speaking, emphasizing how much I trusted these new heroes.

The others seemed to be happy with the final members of our team but Howl seemed nervous, I took her hands in mine and gently squeezed them reassuring her that everything would be alright.

"Everyone I'd like to introduce you to Bulldozer, Polymouse, Sunburst, Caprikid, Purple Tigress, Pigella, Bunnix, and Hound. Our team is ready to fight Hawkmoth, and I know it's scary but in just six days Paris will become a battle field and I trust that each and every one of you will be able to do your part and help us protect our home.", I spoke confidently scanning over all the anxious faces in front of me.

Howl stepped up placing a bangle around each of the new miraculous holders, "This band will help you train for the battle ahead. Even out of your transformations these bands will stay on and help keep any rogue akumas away from you. Keep it close and don't let it go."

Everyone nodded and you stepped back as we all circled around each other, it felt like we were whole. Being here together the way we were, it felt right and I knew that we could do this.

"I want us to go into this fight with no regrets, no fears, and trusting each other a hundred percent. That's why I called you all here.", I sighed pulling something from my pocket, "No secrets, no fears, we're here together to save Paris and we can do this."

"Wait LB, what's that?", Howl trembled seeing my arm raise up above my head.

I turned and stared at her flashing her a small smile before repeating, "No secrets.", and slamming the contents in my hand against the ground.

A large dust cloud enveloped all of us forcing all of our transformation to end, we all became ourselves right in front of each other but the grand reveal didn't go as well as I hoped. (Y/n) grabbed my shoulders with pure fear written all over her face and that's when I realized how grave of a mistake I had made.
