(Y/n's pov)
In this situation fear seems like a reasonable emotion, I am fearful, I'm afraid I won't be good enough for those who need me now. I'm not thinking about my final goodbyes, I'm focusing on the bright future I'll be leaving behind for my friends. For everyone I love and care for!

No matter how many arrows I shot some akumas still seemed to manage to plague several innocent souls, but Rena Rouge and Carapace seemed to take akumatized victims as their role in this fight. Chat and Queen Bee always seemed to be right behind me, watching over me to make sure I was alright. All of these heroes made me proud, Ladybug had done an amazing job picking them, at least I wouldn't have to worry about them since they always watched over one another.

"Where to Bugaboo?", Chat asked aloud fighting of a random villain from his dear partner.

Ladybug seemed to ponder on her thoughts until a solution came up, "Hawkmoth isn't waiting for us anywhere in plain sight. He's somewhere we wouldn't think to look."

"The rocks could help us find out where he is.", Caprikid spoke up swatting away a villain with his large paintbrush.

Ladybug smiled to the idea, all the rocks pointed to one location no matter what direction they emerged from. The epicenter of the energy that powered had to be close by, "Pegasus, get a birds eye view and tell me where all these rocks are pointing to!", Ladybug ordered capturing several akumas that had been freed.

Pegasus did as told, opening a gate just above the ruined city. Within minutes he returned with important news, "All the rocks are creating a huge butterfly around the city, but get this, Mayura is standing guard at the gates of the Agreste Mansion.", Pegasus explained.

Hearing her name made my blood boil, just as I defeated another villain and released the akuma I began to run towards the Agreste mansion only to be stopped by Viperion. His harp was pressed against my throat as he glared at me with those predatory aqua eyes I loved so dearly.

"Don't even think about it. Don't forget I can bring you back here over and over again.", he warned forcing me to step back.

"Howl this isn't your fight alone! Don't go running off to be the hero when we're all here for you!", Queen bee scolded me.

I simply nodded firing off several arrows just past Viperion's head to pin a villain to the nearby wall.

"Ryuko, Minotaurox, Polymouse, and Rooster Bold, you all stay here. Neutralize as many villains as you can and get back to us as soon as possible. Everyone else we're going after Mayura!", Ladybug ordered, everyone nodding in agreement to her plan.

I let her take the lead, following close by her as my hair continued to turn white, my time was running out but I wasn't dying without a fight! We arrived at the mansion with a few hiccups here and there but Queen Bee was able to sting and immobilize most of the akumas thanks to my magic bracelet.  I stayed in the back of the group allowing Cat Noir and Ladybug  to make first contact with Mayura. She seemed asleep, but nobody dared let their guard down.

"So you've finally arrived, I must say I'm disappointed you heroes didn't figure it out sooner.", Mayura finally opened her eyes glaring at the two young heroes before her.

She turned to meet my eyes and quickly appeared before me, the others panicked fearing I'd attack her but I stood my ground.

"You and I have never met, at least not as who we are now but there's a sadness my kwami feels for you. Seems only right that I end your suffering early.", she sighed, hitting my head softly with her fan.

I sighed and looked into her deep pink eyes realizing that she was like me, "Must suck to have a broken miraculous. The pain we're forced to endure is unbelievable.", I spoke out much to everyone's shock.

"It's maddening really, I'm not sure what I want anymore but the toll on my body has become to much to bear.", Mayura explained, opening her fan over her face to hide her tears.

I nodded and hugged her, "I can't take away your pain but I can end your suffering and make things right with what little time I have left I just need you to lead the way."

My words touched a nerve, making you smile through her tears, "It's too late for me little one but at the very least there is someone who I'd like you to save."

I nodded letting her take the lead and followed her into the mansion with my team following behind me. I knew this was a trap, I could tell from her body language but if it lead me to Hawkmoth then I'd do whatever it'd take. We arrived in the middle of the Agreste home and I noticed Cat Noir beginning to tremble, he was nervous I could tell. I grabbed his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze silently telling him that it'd be alright.

"Welcome Heroes. I must say willingly entering my home without so much as a plan was truly foolish of you.", Gabriel Agreste appeared before us dawning a full white suit as he stared down at us from his place above us.

With a quick swipe at his screen he locked us in the mansion without a way out, all of us prepared ourselves for what was to come next. I'd have to let this play out even if it wasn't the best decision.

"Nooroo, Dark Wings Rise!", Gabriel chanted, slowly becoming enveloped in a dark purple light until he was replaced by the very villain we'd been fighting against all along.

My tail fluffed up to the sense of danger, it was time, now or never it was time for Howl to set one final moon and end this generational war. I only hope my friends could forgive me for what I'd do next.
