This wasn't the Paris you knew, this didn't look like your home, and he...he didn't look like your Luka. Even still those piercing blue eyes broke upon seeing your fearful expression, you weren't his (Y/n) he could tell but no version of you should ever be afraid of him. He lowered his weapon and kneeled down to your level, his piercing eyes slowly melting into a look of sadness.
"Hey there little wolf, what are you doing so far away from home?", he asked, raising a clawed hand up to you, you flinched and shut your eyes expecting him to attack you but he simply tucked your bangs behind your ear.
You opened your eyes again to meet his gaze, a soft smile now greeted you and you couldn't help but smile back at him. A soft purple blue glow bloomed against his chest and it sent a chill down your spine, the peacock miraculous was sitting just between his collar bones. His eyes followed yours and he chuckled, "We did all that we could to get these two home.", Luka chuckled, "Shame they took you away from me."
Your body trembled once you realized what he meant, history had repeated itself. Luka had become obsessed with bringing you back just like Gabriel.
"Luka no please. Not like this. I wouldn't-I don't want this. Nooro and Duusu have suffered enough please.", you begged, clutching the collar of his suit in desperation.
A purple butterfly formed over Luka's ocean blue eyes, a voice rang in his head quickly refocusing him to the task at hand. He removed your hands from his collar and stood up summoning both weapons from the snake and peacock miraculous. Before you knew it the Lyre and Fan were replaced by an ominous bow, a pitch black arrow pointing straight at you.
"You aren't my (Y/n), you don't belong here.", Luka sighed.
Just before the arrow was released the ground began to shake, Luka's eyes quickly focused in on the charging hero before him but it was to late. A hammer drove right into the left side of his ribs sending him flying into a nearby building. There before you stood Minotaurox, obviously a much older version of your old friend.
"Hey there Mini (Y/n). Bunnyx's warned us you were coming but I didn't think she'd bring such a young version of you.", he sighed.
Two other presences arrived behind you, an older Pigella and Purple Tigress both smiled down at you.
"Wish the circumstances were better...hopefully you're enough to snap him out of it.", Purple Tigress whispered softly.
"We've gotta move. Naga won't stay down forever.", Pigella warned, tossing you over her shoulder.
"Wait! What happened? What did I mess up this time? Why is Luka evil?", the questions poured from your mouth like a running faucet as all the heroes around you frowned and averted their gazes.
Pigella readjusted you onto her back, she looked back into your eyes and confessed, "You died...that was the cause of all this."
A soundless gasp fell from your trembling lips, your eyes returned to the crumbling city before you. Akumas and Amoks running rampant as heroes protected the deserted streets of Paris. This was all your fault, you destroyed the future by dying.
"No...no please...anything but this.", you sobbed.
Pigella simply nodded and raced off into the rumble of the burning city with her partners watching her back. From the crumbling building sapphire eyes watched the small group disappear, a newfound ache burned in his heart. A sensation he'd long forgotten, the Akuma possessing the only lifeline he now had reacted to Luka's sorrow and grief.
"Come back home Naga."
The cold sadistic voice rang in his head like usual, "Right away, Lady Nymph."
~~~~~~~~~~~After some time your group arrived at an abandoned building just on the outskirts of the city, you just so happened to catch a glimpse of the destroyed Liberty in the dried up Seine River. The site of the old deteriorating boat brought fresh tears to your eyes, to think that your death would cause this much damage.
"LB we're back, and look who we found.", Rose cheered, releasing her transformation.
Rose finally put you down and the sight of Ladybug before you was enough to make your heart ache, she was older now, wiser, tired, but even still you knew this was Marinette. She smiled at you, a similar sadness played in her eyes just like all the rest.
"I'm so sorry I had to drag you here. This isn't your fight but I didn't know what else to do.", She sobbed.
New tears poured from your eyes, you rushed into her arms and began sobbing into her chest, you were scared, sad, confused, you just needed to be grounded so you could focus again. Ladybug smiled and hugged you tight, staring up at the ceiling hoping and begging that your presence here would turn the tides of this war in their favor. You died a fighter and now with this second chance Marinette could only hope that you could find it in you to fight one more time.
